The past six months have been some of the most special in my life. 1.Ambrus was named Volatility Hedge Fund of the Year by HFM along with winning two other awards from HedgeWeek and HedgeFundJournal. 2.We got a few new great investors and were backed by a multi-strategy hedge fund that truly shares our philosophy around trading volatility. 3.We’re now approaching our soft close period, which is estimated to bring our AUM to roughly a little over half a billion. I share this not really as a milestone from the stance of someone who started a hedge fund team half a decade ago, but as a testimony to God’s goodness and faithfulness in my journey. I just want everyone to know that this is all to his Glory. I hope you find your passion and allow God to lead you into your calling with grace and favor. I love this game and wouldn’t change a thing about my journey in it.

His reckless banter showcases a disturbing ignorance of the weight that racial language carries in America. His attempt to diminish the significance of Black leadership by mocking Harris as though her rise to become the vice president and nomination for president are superficial phenomenoms, rather than the result of hard-earned success in a country built on systemic racial inequities, is unacceptable. His thoughtless comments perpetuate harmful stereotypes about Black leaders, dehumanize their achievements, and trivialize the faith and support the Black community places in its representatives. For Cuomo to reduce Kamala Harris’ historic role to a caricature demonstrates his continued lack of respect for the Black community and its struggles. It is this kind of casual racism, cloaked in so-called political commentary, that fans the flames of division and undermines the progress we are fighting for. We cannot allow prominent voices to diminish the significance of Black leadership, nor can we stay silent when racially insensitive rhetoric is used to belittle our community. Chris Cuomo needs to recognize the damage his words cause and issue a public apology, not only to Kamala Harris but to the Black community as a whole. Watching and hearing about the stampede in Bangalore made me wonder where we are going ! This is not a national team winning the World Cup ! It’s a mere franchise called RCB which works on commercial lines and does not have a single Hyderabad player in it !? It’s not even a #Hyderabad based team ! The night round officers were totally taken by surprise at 12 in the midnight as hordes of youngsters and revellers descended on Tank bund ,NTR marg and Necklace road and behaved in an unruly manner, sample of which you can see in the videos below, quite alarmingly. Traffic got jammed in all directions . Seeing the situation and the hooliganism , extra forces were rushed and a lathi charge done to disperse the unruly crowd.From a police officer’s perspective, this unannounced celebrations on the streets by large gatherings are a big danger to public safety and may lead to exactly what we saw in Bengaluru. What if there were some deaths in Hyderabad too ? Can anyone expect celebrations for RCB in Hyderabad city ! But with the social media playing a huge role across the country and the globe , perhaps police has to be alert for everyone and everything in future ! I was at today’s meeting and want to echo Ashley’s post: I was told an interview with CEO Ian Choudri would not be possible *if* it touched at all on the circumstances surrounding his arrest and leave of absence. To be clear, Choudri was not charged, and the board later cleared him to return. But I felt I still had to ask about the situation and whether it served as a distraction for the project. In fairness to the HSR comms team who have been very communicative, an interview with Choudri was offered to me — but limited strictly to the project itself. As a journalist, it is a tough spot to be in. Our coverage will stay focused on the business plan, but I wanted to share this context.

Jess Phillips is absolutely raging with contempt at Nigel Farage: “I don’t know if I could express my contempt any greater about what I think about him playing a game with a job that I believe to be an absolute privilege and an honour.” This is the same Jess Phillips who, as Safeguarding Minister, refused to launch a proper government inquiry into grooming gangs in Oldham and whose party voted to block a national inquiry into the whole scandal.
