I am actually disgusted by this. I’ve had so many teachers that changed my life and put me in the right path, without them I don’t want to think about where I would be. These teachers are sharing how much money they have in their accounts on the par day. In a society where our teachers are guiding the minds of the future, the people who will be helping us when we are later in life. I don’t think they are appreciated enough nor is the compensation package up to par. It perplexes me how they they have to spend a crazy amount of money for their education, only to struggle to get by with a smile while still being generous enough to pay for the items our children need without being reimbursed for much of it. I think it’s time we create a change, I don’t think it’s fair we expect so much of them and they give so much to us only to relieve so little. I know people are going to argue with me and say well they chose to do it so if they aren’t happy with the pay, they can get another job. While that’s true, we would be in bad shape however if they ever chose to do that. Who would be teaching our kids and preparing them for the future. I think we focus too much on things that aren’t and shouldn’t be our priority while neglecting and overlooking a major issue right below our noses. Their jobs are important and our kids would fail without them so why are we treating them like they aren’t important? It’s because it’s easy for us to think of them as our babysitters for half the day. We treat them like Nannie’s who only watch our kids while we go to work and do things we enjoy. Maybe it’s time we revisit our roles in helping them achieve our goals.

This is how I see left wing Scousers - What irritates me more than anything about them is they have the arrogance to tell people on a daily basis “Scousers are left wing” and call everyone a Tory or a wool who disagrees with them. Like they can speak for all of us. Like only they love this city and we don’t. Let me tell you something about these gang of gobshites. If you ever want to at what multiculturalism does to a city. Look at London. I have always wanted multiculturalism to work. But it’s hard to ignore the damage it does. It is ok im small manageable numbers like we have always had. But when it grows out of control you get….. London. These gang of shithouses who love Liverpool more than anyone and who are more Scouse than anyone and speak for all of us are literally advocating for Liverpool to be slowly transformed into a microcosm of the hellhole that is our capital. They are actively pushing for it. Most of them don’t even have children themselves. And that’s the world they want your children to grow up in. A replica of London in every major city. That’s how much they care about Liverpool. They want it to become the next London. If everything was all sweet and rosey down there I could understand their logic. But it isn’t. And over my dead body I will stand silent while these traitors enable our government to destroy the culture snd good harmony of our city. Absolutely disgusting. They do not speak for us. We always hear about women being “trapped by a man,” but why don’t we ever hear about all the women who are “career trapped.” They do what they’re told, take out the college loans, only to realize later that they want to be home with their kids… but they can’t be because it’s too expensive & they have to pay back their debt. Would a system that really cared about women set them up to fail this way? Why aren’t young girls taught how they can make money from home? I say it’s intentional.

Mamdani: I think oftentimes there's a condescension that people have when they talk about young voters and finger wag and say, you should get out there and don't ask them what would it take to bring you out here? When I talk to young people, what I hear from them, they feel like the only way they can stay in the city is if they keep living with their parents or leave the state entirely. We have to make it a place where they can aspire to dream in the city and also treat them with the seriousness that they deserve because what we'll find in our young people is leadership.

We all want secure attachment. And the best part of our attachment patterns is we can shift them. Through self awareness, practice, and healthy communication. People with secure attachment have 3 core traits: 1. The ability to not take things personally: this gives them space to understand people close to them aren’t attacking them. It also makes it so they can get to self reflection. 2. The ability to self reflect: this is actually more rare than people realize. Those with secure attachment can self reflect. They can ask “is there truth here?” “Is this valid?” If it is, they face it and begin to integrate. Integration is why people with secure attachment patterns tend to grow and evolve more than those with insecure patterns. 3. The ability to be accountable for their impact: if they self reflect and see that someone has a point, they can be accountable. Instead of deflecting or being defensive they can say “I see where you’re coming from” and “I’m sorry and want to do better.” They create a space to have conversations which is why people in their lives feel safe and heard. All of us can practice these traits. It’s about hearing things in new ways and responding in new ways. You’ll see how differently people engage with us when we’re not trying to defend our self image or deny their reality.

When people argue against free will, you often see them smuggle in some intriguing moral assumptions. They often end up in the same place: if people don’t have free will, then we shouldn’t hold them responsible for their actions. We should stop being judgmental. We should overhaul the criminal justice system, because criminals supposedly didn’t choose to commit their crimes—they “couldn’t help it.” The implicit argument here is that they don’t have free will, but you—the reader—do. You’re smart enough, educated enough, morally enlightened enough to freely decide how to treat others. You can choose to create a more lenient or compassionate legal system. You can reimagine our institutions. But those other people—they didn’t have choices. They’re just automatons. Pawns. Creatures being pushed around by forces beyond their control. It’s a quietly elitist view. And frankly, an ugly one. It strips people of agency in the name of compassion. But once you deny someone’s free will, once you say they aren’t truly autonomous, it opens the door to all kinds of rationalizations for authoritarianism. If they don’t have free will, then what does it matter what we do to them? I’m not against exploring the scientific or philosophical arguments about determinism. Those can be interesting. But too often, the “no free will” crowd embeds moral arguments they never fully own up to. And one of the most common is: the unenlightened masses don’t have free will—but the rest of us do.

We’re gonna be able to sell all our weapons to Ukraine. So, BlackRock owns Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, Boeing, Lockheed, all of the military contractors, they’re making the money on the war. They have the contract for rebuilding Ukraine, they’re gonna make another half trillion on that. And they’re the big donor to the Democrat and Republican Party. This whole thing is fixed and it’s rigged, and they don’t even have to come to us and say we’re gonna have another one of these wars. They just print the money. It’s all a very incestuous and corrupt problem. Bitcoin is not only an off-ramp to this inflationary highway, which is the highway to hell, but it’s also a way of restoring integrity to our government. It’s a way of restoring personal freedoms. The middle class can insulate itself from inflation, which is just a form of government theft. I’m gonna do a basket of hard currencies, platinum and gold and other hard currencies, and begin issuing at least a class of Treasury bills that are anchored to hard currency, let’s say the first year 1%, and then maybe the next year 2% and watch how that goes. I would like to have the federal government begin to buy Bitcoin and over my term in office, ultimately have an equivalent amount of Bitcoin that we have gold. If we want to save our democracy, we need to decentralize it.”

The essence of free speech is that ideas survive when they're competing ideas in the marketplace of ideas. And if somebody says something that's incorrect, then that can be corrected. That's what happens on the 𝕏 platform. People will say something, then others will add context to it, or they will correct it, or there will be a community note. This applies equally to the left and right. There's no thumb on the scale like there used to be. And there's no voice on the left that's been silenced, unlike in the past, where many voices on the right were silenced. But they just don't seem to like the idea that people on the right can say what they want to say within the bounds of the law, which is startling.” Pittsburgh, October 20, 2024

They have the home equity tax in their back pocket and they will use it in the name of fairness when the time is right. Trudeau was considering it and they ran polls and met with think tanks in favour of it. This was when Mark Carney was advising. Thats how the Liberals work. Just like the massive Capital Gains tax hike they tried to pass but had to cancel after they saw Canadians revolt but not before they extorted around 10B from people who cashed in investments due to the coming tax hike. The liberals will never stop spending your money until everyone is broke. Anyone who can’t see this is clearly dumb, deaf and blind.
