My wonderful wife Brooke Criddle put together a brief highlight video of the game from yesterday. We are so grateful for Max’s coaches, teammates and their families that allowed yesterday to be a day of celebration rather than a day of mourning. We will forever mourn the loss of Jake, but we will fervently rally around my sister and her children and continue to honor Jake’s legacy throughout the rest of our lives. It takes a village and we are eternally grateful for the village and community that is supporting us.. they are doing what Jake taught us all to do… to love and serve one another as Christ our savior would. 🙏🏼 ❤️

Today, we honored the memory of the victims of the Ezidi Genocide and reaffirmed that their suffering will never be forgotten. Twelve years after the Genocide, the resilience of our Ezidi sisters and brothers remains a source of strength and pride for all of Kurdistan. We remember the hundreds of Peshmerga who lost their lives to liberate and protect Sinjar. We will also continue doing everything we can to support survivors, find and rescue those who are still missing, and help displaced Ezidis return safely and with dignity to their homes.
