And this is how western chemical medicine tries to kill the merit of natural medicine. They have these fear mongers writing reams of warning on information sites - covering almost 80% of human beings who use or take some medicine daily (30+ in the West take some or the other meds if not for body itโ€™s for the mind. All get ruled out - forbidden by these articles.) Nice kill ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Like there is Counter Terrorism for violence we need Counter Terrorism for medicine. I have a prediction to make - in 30 years the Doctor frat will not be sought after not respected and the only ones anyone cares about will be who do surgeries and combo drugs for pain management or terminal illnesses

Everyone's body is different but statistically Animal milk drinkers often have issues with the following and all of these affect the way your hair and scalp function 1. Hard to Digest for Many People Most adults, especially people of African, Asian, and Indigenous descent, are lactose intolerant-meaning they lack the enzyme lactase to properly digest milk. This can lead to bloating, gas, and digestive discomfort. Because this takes so much energy, energy is taken off of your hair and your hair needs energy 2. Inflammatory & Mucus-Producing Dairy can be inflammatory for some people, especially those prone to acne, eczema, or sinus issues. This issues spills over into your hair and scalp and can have you losing hair by the clumps. It can increase mucus production, which can contribute to congestion and respiratory issues. 3. Hormones & Antibiotics Conventional dairy often contains added hormones (like growth hormones) and antibiotics, which may affect your body's natural hormone balance. Even in organic milk, cows naturally produce estrogen, which can still impact hormone-sensitive individuals. Hair growth is directly tied to hormones so if these are thrown off, your hair will be 4. Acidic, Block Iron Absorption & Deplete Calcium Contrary to popular belief, milk is acidic, and some studies suggest that excessive dairy consumption may actually leach calcium from bones instead of strengthening them. It without a doubt blocks the absorption of iron. Many Black American women are anemic and this single handily can have your hair on the floor so you have to be careful.. Thoughts ๐Ÿ’ญโ‰๏ธ

3 Main Types if Parasites ๐Ÿชฑ Protozoa, Helminths & Ectoparasites Protozoa:-Amoeba. Move by pseudopodia. Trematodes-Leaf-like unsegmented Cestodes-Tape-like segmented Tapeworms/Roundworms - have a series of hooks they use to attach to the intestine to get nourishment from the host, & can grow up to 30+ feet Flukes- invade the nervous system secondarily after blood, liver, intestinal, or pulmonary infection & can stay in the human body for 10-20 years The Tapeworm develops into adulthood in about a month and can live up to 30 years. In the small intestine, an adult worm attaches to the intestinal wall. The eggs of the tapeworm leave the body through the rectum. Thus, a person is constantly at risk of infection. You may become infected when you eat raw, lightly salted, poorly cooked or fried fish, pork, or beef. There are two types of infections that can develop depending on the route of infection โ€“ cysticercosis, and taeniasis. The signs of intestinal infection mostly run without complaints. Rarely, tapeworms can cause intestinal obstruction. In this case, acute abdominal pain occurs and the patient needs surgery. However, if tapeworm larvae have migrated out of your intestines and formed cysts in other tissues, they can finally lead to organ and tissue damage, resulting in allergic reactions to the larvae, headaches, cystic masses or lumps, as well as neurological signs and symptoms (including seizures). Do you have 3 or more of these common signs & symptoms? - Headaches - Brain fog - Grinding teeth - Heart palpitations - Anxiety/depression - Aches/joint pain - Increased hunger - Circles under eyes - Insomnia/poor sleep quality - Iron-deficiency/anemia - GI issues - Acne/other skin issues such as a rash, eczema, dandruff (itchy scalp) or psoriasis If you can say YES to 3 or moreโ€ฆ. In case you missed it, a woman in the UK died after a traditional chinese medicine therapy called "paida lajin" or "slapping therapy" which involves repeated self-slapping to "purge ones body of toxins." She did it, to "cure her diabetes." The world of alternative medicine is full of such nonsensical therapies that claim to "detox ones body of toxins in the blood, stomach and intestines" without the need for "medications." Please do not fall for such "self-healing" techniques, similar to the one shown below, which is part of Ayurvedic and Yogic practice, performed in India. Kunjal kriya in Yoga is voluntary induction of vomiting which is also part of Ayurvedic "panchakarma" called as vamana therapy. This does not detox anything. It is potentially dangerous because it can lead to a condition called Mallory Weiss tear, which is a tear of the tissue of your lower esophagus (food pipe), most often caused by violent coughing or vomiting. It can lead to massive vomiting of blood and heavy blood loss. Jal neti is the practice of guiding water through the nasal passages to cleanse them. Jala neti is a traditional Ayurvedic and Yogic practice that clears the nose and sinus passages through nasal irrigation and is though to detox the body and clean sinuses and improve mind and intelligence. It does not - only lower intelligent life forms would actually perform this. There is high risk of bacterial infections (Streptoccocal) and also risk of dreadful infection such as Naegleria fowleri (also called the brain-eating amoeba). Please be careful. Sutra neti kriya is a nasal cleansing yoga exercise wherein the nasal area and outer respiratory regions are decongested with the help of thin rubber tube or soft thread. Initially, the tubing is inserted through one nostril and is brought out through the mouth and thereafter moved back and forth. This is dangerous and does not yield and health benefits. In fact a recent report showed that such practice resulted in scar tissue formation and obstruction of nose and upper oral cavity region - a condition called nasopharyngeal stenosis. It is terrible. Even though many would not agree, Yoga practice is actually highly pseudoscientific if you study the texts, principles and practice it deeper. Please be mindful of your healthcare choices and be well-informed when it comes to healthseeking behaviour. Follow a science-based approach to diagnosis and treatment options. Stay away from pseudoscience peddlers.

I built an app in Softr for the HVAC industry to solve some crucial problems. The problem is that those in the HVAC industry and similar industries like construction, plumbing, and electrical do not have one source of truth where: 1. Their clients can request for thier services. 2. Clients can be onboarded after they make a payment. 3. They store the information and bio data of their technicians. 4. They assign tasks to their technicians. 5. Technicians can track onsite jobs with pictures in real time of when working. 6. Clients see the progress of their projects. 7. Invoices and quotations from paid clients can be tracked. 8. Technicians borrow assets from the company, and they can be tracked. 9. There is a database where every individual, from technicians to admin and clients, are all stored. 10. Login details from every individual are secured and they can only see things that are their business without seeing that of another person, be ita technician or a client. These and many more are what people in these industries face as a challenge. I came up with a solution that addresses all these problems. I built a workflow that also auto-populated the users table in the database with technicians and clients when the records are filled in the technician and client tables, respectively. There is also a workflow that sends an email to the admin when a client makes a request from the portal. Taking advantage of the database, workflow, and portal gave a full-blown application for the HVAC industry. If you are in the construction, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC industry and you need a similar build, reach out, and I will be more than happy to replicate this for you or something similar in Softr.

BAN HQ Medical Committee presents Diabetic Awareness - World Diabetes Day 2024. World Diabetes Day is observed every year on November 14th, marking an important opportunity to raise awareness about diabetes and advocate for better prevention, diagnosis, and management of the disease. The day became an official United Nations (UN) day in 2006. This yearโ€™s theme, "Access to Diabetes Education," underscores the need for better information and resources to help prevent and manage diabetes effectively. The Medical Team of Brothers across Nigeria (BAN) worldwide is proud to recognize World Diabetes Day by supporting the established framework for diabetes education, which includes: 1. Learning and Knowledge Sharing. 2. Prevention. 3. Identification and Treatment. UNDERSTANDING DIABETES Diabetes is a disease that results from excess sugar in the blood, causing serious health problems over time. The Types of Diabetes: 1. Type 2 Diabetes: The most common form, accounting for about 90% of cases. It occurs when the body doesnโ€™t use insulin effectively or doesnโ€™t produce enough. 2. Type 1 Diabetes: An autoimmune condition, usually diagnosed in childhood, where the body cannot produce insulin. 3. Gestational Diabetes: Occurs during pregnancy and usually goes away after childbirth, but it increases the risk of developing type 2 diabetes later in life. 4. Prediabetes: A condition where blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not high enough to be considered type 2 diabetes. 1 in 3 adults has prediabetes, highlighting the need for early intervention and lifestyle changes. SYMPTOMS OF DIABETES The symptoms of diabetes vary, and some people (especially those with prediabetes, gestational diabetes, or type 2 diabetes) may not experience symptoms at all. In type 1 diabetes, symptoms usually appear quickly and are more severe. Common symptoms include: I. Increased thirst or urination II.Fatigue III. Blurry vision IV. Slow-healing sores or infections RISK FACTORS A variety of factors contribute to the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, including: Age and genetics, Lifestyle factors:, poor diet, lack of physical activity, and smoking increase the likelihood of developing diabetes. Social factors: Access to healthy food, healthcare, and safe spaces for exercise also play a significant role in managing and preventing diabetes. Race and Ethnicity: People from certain racial or ethnic backgrounds, including Black, Hispanic, American Indian, and Asian American populations, are at higher risk for type 2 diabetes. Discrimination and stigma: These factors can exacerbate the challenges faced by marginalized communities in managing diabetes. COMPLICATIONS When diabetes is not properly controlled, it can cause serious and even life-threatening complications, including Heart disease and strokes, Nerve damage (neuropathy), Kidney damage, Eye problems, Foot issues, Skin and mouth infections, Hearing loss, Memory issues, Depression and Anxiety. PREVENTION Preventing or delaying type 2 diabetes is possible through early lifestyle changes. The following strategies can help reduce the risk of developing diabetes: 1. Eat a Healthy Diet 2. Get Active 3. Maintain a Healthy Weight 4. Quit Smoking 5. Limit Alcohol Intake 6. Get Regular Checkups 7. Manage Stress 8. Sleep Well CONCLUSION World Diabetes Day is an important reminder of the growing global impact of diabetes and the urgent need for education, awareness, and action. This yearโ€™s theme highlights the critical need for better information and resources to prevent and manage the disease. By focusing on education, early detection, and lifestyle changes, we can work together to reduce the burden of diabetes and create a healthier future for all. #BANWorldwide, #BrothersAcrossNigeria #WorldDiabetesDay, #WDD2024, #DiabetesAwareness, #KnowYourNumbers, #DiabetesPrevention, #14November, #AccesstoDiabetesCare

When an IV (intravenous line) isnโ€™t placed correctly, several problems can happen depending on where the fluid or needle goes. Here are the main complications: ๐Ÿ”น **Infiltration** This happens when the IV fluid leaks into the surrounding tissue instead of the vein. Signs: swelling, cool skin, tightness, pain around the site. ๐Ÿ”น **Extravasation** Similar to infiltration, but more serious. This occurs when irritating medications (like some chemotherapy drugs) leak into tissues and can cause tissue damage or skin necrosis. ๐Ÿ”น **Hematoma** If the vein is punctured improperly, blood can leak under the skin causing bruising and swelling. ๐Ÿ”น **Phlebitis** Inflammation of the vein. Signs: redness, warmth, pain, and a hard vein along the IV line. ๐Ÿ”น **Infection** If the IV site isnโ€™t sterile or stays too long, bacteria can enter the bloodstream and cause serious infections like **Sepsis**. ๐Ÿ”น **Air embolism (rare but serious)** If air enters the IV line, it can travel in the bloodstream and block blood flow. ๐Ÿ”น **Nerve damage (rare)** If the needle hits a nerve, it can cause sharp pain, numbness, or tingling. In short: A misplaced IV can cause pain, swelling, infection, or in rare cases, serious complications. Thatโ€™s why nurses and doctors carefully check for proper placement before giving fluids or medicines. If you want, I can also explain how healthcare professionals confirm that an IV is correctly placed ๐Ÿ’‰.
