Gary Payton says he taught Kobe his secrets because Kobe asked him to teach him, despite knowing he would use that information against him for the rest of his career “Kobe was already different. He was a different kid. I was about 10 or 11 years into the NBA at the time, and Kobe didn’t have a fear of asking anybody how to get better.” “He came by me and was like, ‘Big bro, you be doing this and that. I really want to learn this because of you.’ When he said that, that took something in my heart. A kid with his ability, knowing where he was going, really wanted to learn, and he didn’t have an ego.” “I didn’t mind. I didn’t care about him knowing how to do it and stop it because if he knows it, it makes me better too. Because I gave him the game, now I’ve got to learn how to stop him. I’ve got to show him something else.” “It didn’t really bother me, and me and him got so tight. Especially when I went to the Lakers and was mentoring him, we got really, really tight.”

seungkwan mentioned the jinyoung moment on his wv live 🍊 when i was being introduced, riize were before me and jinyoung-nim was after me. so i came really freely and casually. but i did know that there would be introductions and all. apparently jinyoung sunbaenim came right after his schedule. the setting was nice. but he had his mask on and even though i was right next to him, he just had this aura about him. then the camera caught me right next to him and even from my pov, he looked so cool.

Tom Holland shares a hilarious story about a driver giving him a backhanded compliment right before his final Spider-Man movie. "He's looking at me in the mirror and he goes, 'You know what kid, I think you're gonna get it.' I'm like, 'Really? Why?' And I was excited to hear that." "You know what, I think you're gonna get it because the kid that I just drove there... he is so good-looking." "That's exactly the confidence boost I need." "I saw him a few months later when I was shooting the film and he goes, 'I told you.' I'm like, 'What did you tell me? That I was gonna get the part, or that I was ugly?'"

Josh Thompson says Khabib was upset with him for having Conor McGregor on his show 👀😬 “Khabib was very upset with me when I had Conor McGregor on our show. He didn’t talk to me for a while.” “He was like, ‘Brother, it really upset me that you had him on.’ He didn’t talk about this until I approached him.” “I didn’t think he’d be mad, but he was. He was upset, and as I look back, I understand that.” Via: WEIGHING IN

Prim talking about Phuwin 🫶🏻 #phuwintang #primiily Prim: I really, truly feel this way about Phuwin. I’ve known Phuwin since he was still a little kid, and I was a kid too back then, so we entered this together. Seeing my friend grow like this makes me so, so happy, and I’m very proud of him. And honestly, I already knew he was a talented person bc he’s been playing music since he was young. But the more I see him perform on stage, the more surprised I am. I’m also really happy that so many people love my friend this much.

Kristin Kreuk on working with Jensen Ackles on Smallville: God, it was so fun... Jensen has such an easy kind of chill, like he just is so cool, and his performances are just really free and natural... and looseness that his character had, and that he naturally has - it was really, really fun to work with him. #AcklesNatiion #smallville

Tom Holland says the driver who took him to his final Spider-Man audition told him he wasn’t good looking enough to be Spider-Man. “I was very nervous.” “He looked at me and said, ‘You know what, kid? I think you’re gonna get it.’” “I said, ‘Really? Why?’” “He goes, ‘Because the kid that I just drove there… he is so good-looking.’” “I was like, ‘Thank you! That’s exactly the confidence boost I need!’” “Then I got the part.”

🚨I was hating Ganguly, his face was annoying to me - Saqlain Mushtaq🤯 I was not liking to see Sourav Ganguly, his image in my mind like an angry, arrogant man. I had never done any type of hi hello with him after the game. I was injured for almost 8 months and then when i got fit then i joined sussex county and at the time India was touring England. I was sitting in balcony and Ganguly came to me with 2 cup of coffee, he offered me one and himself had second one. He asked me how's your injury what happened in between, everything he asked to me. He wished me good for my health and after he left, i was ashamed on myself that i was thinking bad about him, and he is not like that. He is senior to me and India's captain still came to me and he is not like that. And then we met again that year in a programme i went to him and say sorry to him that i was thinking very wrong about you and after you came, you won my heart.

Allen Iverson on Kobe: "At 18, He Already Had That Mamba Mentality" "There’s one memory of him that I just can’t stop thinking about. It was our rookie season, and my first road game in L.A. He came to pick me up before the game and took me to a restaurant. He asked me what I was doing after the game that night. I told him I was going to a club since I didn’t get to be in California often. Then I asked him the same question, and he replied: 'I’m going to the gym.' #mambamentality

Kyle Shanahan on Jake Moody’s future with the 49ers: “I still feel the same about him, that I believe he’ll be our guy. I mean everyone’s gotta perform and do things like that. I think he’s had a tough year. Before his high ankle sprain, he missed one… I think he was 12 of 13 before that, so I thought he was doing really well. And then had a high ankle sprain to his kicking foot. Since he’s come back he hasn’t been as consistent obviously, but I think a lot of that has to do with that (ankle sprain).”
