This incident occurred in Prince William county, Virginia, in the gatehouse terrace, Woodbridge. At about 7.00pm that day, a group of kids while playing, observed about 4 men 🥷 walking together on the other side of the street in all black, some on ski mask 😷 and made a comment about “gangsters”, not knowing that Cul-de-Sac that is supposed to be a safe space is about to be a nightmare for them. Police believe the men might have had a beef with a man seating in a vehicle nearby, and one of the suspicious characters 💥💥🔫 shot indiscriminately at the vehicle and an 8 years old girl playing with her friends was hit by a stray bullet.

Tulsa Police Department officers were already nearby monitoring the crowd, when individuals began firing weapons, officers engaged two armed suspects, killing one and seriously injuring the another. One suspect, 21-year-old Thurman Wilson, was shot and killed by a police officer. A second suspect, then 17-year-old Demonzo Washington, was shot and injured by police while fleeing. Five bystanders in the crowd were wounded by gunfire from the suspects, but all survived. Authorities later stated the initial shootout stemmed from a personal dispute linked to a prior 2022 homicide case. Following the shooting, Demonzo Washington’s injuries left him permanently paralyzed. He was initially charged with shooting with intent to kill and assault and battery. He eventually accepted a plea agreement and was sentenced to a 15-year state prison sentence. Due to his paralysis, he was initially placed on medical house arrest because the Juvenile Detention Center could not accommodate his extensive care needs. However, by mid-2026, he was transferred to the Tulsa County Jail while awaiting placement into a permanent Oklahoma Department of Corrections facility. The Saint Xavier Bombers (27-5) lived up to their name in the state semifinals, but for all of the marbles it was a slow and methodical approach to best their arch-rivals in Moeller (25-7). Friday afternoon's 4-2 win secured the Bombers' 2nd state title in program history, their first since 2003. The scoring began early after a bobble in left field allowed Jack Ryan to score from second base on a ruled double by Jackson Sherrard. From there, both pitchers found their groove. Moeller's Nathan McDowell and Xavier's Liam McGeady recorded 5 strikeouts each while keeping the offenses off of the scoreboard until the 4th inning. Cullen O'Brien stepped up in a pinch hit scenario and delivered a grounder up the middle that got away from the Crusaders' center fielder to score the second run of the game. Sam Sprengard went on to reward O'Brien's pinch runner with a sac fly later in the frame to make it 3-0 Bombers. Moeller needed an answer, and it came in the 6th.
