This is a traditional way of staging protests by taking out a rally with mashals in hands. It happened in the night hours of 8 September 2024. I can see Meitei women hitting the streets. The Meira Paibis have been at the forefront of the Manipuri movement. Rare is a sight of womenfolk from a community protesting, fighting and taking charge of and leading a movement from the front. Manipur is passing sleepless nights. Will GoI wake up to Manipur's reality and safeguard its integrity against Church-backed Kuki terrorism? Manipur seeks peace. Absolute peace! It doesn't take understanding rocket science to acknowledge that one group isn't in any mood to give up what it is up to and it is the Kuki community. The Kukis are preparing and assembling weapons to attack the Meiteis and right under the watch of GoM and GoI. With the sole objective of inflicting a genocide on the indigenous Meitei people, they are committed to launching unabated attacks on the Meiteis. The central government is pretending as though Manipur and the Meiteis do not exist at all. The PM is so keen in resolving the Ukraine crisis while shirking his responsibilities towards bringing an end to the Manipur fiasco. He is cosying up to a nation that has never failed to offend Bharata, what Ukraine is. But he has maintained a studied silence on the escalated violence and bloodshed that has gripped the Northeastern border state for more than 16 months now. None from the Saffron regime is saying anything at all about the Manipur crisis, let alone actuating measures for its lasting settlement. The heart of the Kuki Radicalisation Programme The Kuki Worship Service Guwahati congregation sang a highly political, violence-inciting and radical Kuki patriotic song at church on May 3, 2026, during the observance of Kuki Separation Day. The video has since gone viral on social media. The song’s central theme focused on Kuki unification and revenge against those perceived as enemies of Kuki. One particular line states, “Do you not feel pained by other people killing us like wild animals,” a message intended to incite violence and emotionally mobilise so-called Kukis against perceived adversaries. Rather than conveying the gospel of Jesus or biblical teachings, the song was filled with emotionally charged slogans promoting violence, ethnic nationalism, militant radicalism, and revenge-driven sentiments. Clearly Kuki churches have for decades been the centre and heart of Kuki radicalisation backed by Kuki militant and civil groups. They openly promote radical Kuki nationalism and supremacist rhetoric, and actively campaign against other Christian communities. For many years, wholly-radicalised Kuki society have annually observed September 13 as “Kuki Black Day” across churches, villages, and various political, social, and religious platforms. Such observances have contributed to the radicalisation of young minds within the Kuki society, drawing successive generations into violent ethnic and political movements directed against other communities. Just like the global jihadist movement, the Kuki radical movement has increasingly assumed an extremist character that justifies, promotes, and glorifies violence in pursuit of ethnic supremacy over other communities, particularly indigenous groups such as the Aimol, Kom, Thadou, Hmar, Mizo, Meitei, and tribes grouped and identified under the Zomi and Naga nomenclatures. Just as the annual observance of Kuki Black Day has sustained Kuki radicalisation since the 1990s through religious, church-based, and socio-political platforms, the annual observance of May 3 as “Kuki Separation Day” is sure to further entrench and advance Kuki extremist violent agendas in the years ahead. Violence against the Meitei Hindus continues in #Manipur. A primary health centre in #Jiribam, #Borobekra, which is around 150 meters from the Police Station, was burnt down by suspected Kuki Terrorists at around 12.50 AM, on the night of 12/09/2024. Even the house of H. Nandakumar, which is around 30 meters away, was burnt, but with the intervention of the locals and police, it was able to be saved. Still the question is there. Large numbers of Meiteis are themselves Christians Here is a Meitei Christian stating that 1.5lakh+ Meiteis are Christians (~10% of Meitei population) He also says that even Meitei Churches were attacked by Kukis
