We have done a lot in this short three years, and it has not been easy but we are still here and just getting started. But the ability to dig that dirt and create a bunker, a shelter for our troops, a command point, or an infantry position is what saves lives. With shovels, it takes 8 people working for 3 weeks to build such a position. With an excavator we provided to the Marines of the 38th Brigade, it takes only 3 people and 3 days. These machines are small, often unnoticed even by the soldiers who benefit from them, but they save countless lives. Dafu was rescued from a dog butcher’s yard in China in October 2022. He’s a gentle Labrador boy who’s spent almost 3 years waiting for his chance to leave and start a new life. 💔 Y’all, I am in tears. 💔 A 36-lb German Shepherd mix momma came into BARC Animal Shelter with her 8 babies 🍼🐶 and they k☠️lled her for space. Please read the volunteer notes 👇 “I really, really love Betty. At first she’s a little shy, and it even says that on her kennel door. It doesn’t take long though before she’s giving you kisses and asking for attention. Maybe people just don’t see this as they walk by. She’s a very petite 36 pounds, heartworm-negative, and a perfect three years old.” This should never happen. This has got to stop.
