I recently visited the remote town of Stehekin to see flood damage firsthand and hear from impacted residents at a community meeting. The only way to get to Stehekin is via boat, plane, or on foot. My son Jack and I decided to hike in on the Chelan Lakeshore Trail. Here are some highlights from our 18-mile backpacking trip. Some things you should know if you're interested in doing the hike: The trail starts at Prince Creek, which is only accessible by boat. You can take a ferry from Chelan or Field’s Point Landing. Despite the trail name, you’re not down by the lake the whole hike and there is a lot of climbing and descending. Be prepared for a net elevation gain of about 4,000 feet. Be prepared for heat — the trail gets a lot of sun exposure. Make sure you bring plenty of water, sunscreen and cool layers to help keep you from overheating. There are sections that are quite brushy. Enjoy your time out there and make sure you give yourself time to explore Stehekin before taking the ferry back to Chelan. The bakery is incredible.

Just a kid from Newark Ohio with a dream to be a MLB pitcher. Crazy to think a kid from Newark was going to in the Major Leagues for 14 years. Thanks my lord and savior for blessing me with the ability to get where i was. Having two amazing parents of Rick and Wendy that helped push me every single day and made sure i not only worked on sports abilities but made sure to keep my focus on work and growing closer with god. Can’t thank them enough for always being there not only in the good times but the bad times as well. Greg. Thank you for being the brother you are. From kicking my ass cause i stole your jersey to playing some baseball with the folding chair strike zone in the front yard. Grateful For always being around you and your buddies playing the game of baseball. Grateful for you always being there and helping even into my big leagues and acting the same as if i was still at Highschool and going over pitching. Texas rangers, Ranger nation and my teammates. A true blessing to big in this organization with the best fans around. To have this organization believe in me. Select me in the 2009 draft at the 25th round and be able to climb through the system with coaches such as Keith Comstock aka my dad , Danny Clark - as he state before I’m not there to throw. $I got a chance to ride for the first time in a Tesla Robotaxi in Dallas. I came here for the midterm RNC convention. I hopped on the orange train line from the airport, but my train station was closed off for the president, so I hopped out before getting there and took a Robotax the rest of the way. My first impressions: The app works flawlessly. Similar to Uber, it gives you a nearby pickup point that's a short walk. It's really easy to order, and my Robotaxi arrived within minutes. You can see on your phone as the Robotaxi is coming to your location, so you always know just how far away it is. This makes it much easier to spot it. The doors automatically unlock once you approach them. And it waits for you till you get in and hit the start button. This gave me a moment to get my bags in and catch my breath from the 102° Texas heat. My phone was boiling from how hot it was, so I couldn't record the Robotaxi pull-up, but the AC was nice and cold in the Robotaxi and I was able to cool down my phone in a minute so I could record. The Robotaxi drives extremely smoothly. Think of the best driver you've ever met in your life who knows where everything is at all times, drives cautiously, and always keeps a good distance from other vehicles just in case. The cornering and turns were very smooth. Some people claim they have a bit of anxiety riding the Robotaxi for the first time. I had zero anxiety whatsoever. I had full faith in Elon Musk that what he put out is really good. The ride is a fraction of the price of an Uber or Lyft. We are talking prices so cheap it starts to approach public transportation. It's a little bit more than public transportation, but it's a lot more convenient to take a Robotaxi. I have a feeling when the Robovan comes out, it'll do to public transportation what the Cybercab will do to taxi services and cause costs to come down significantly. I can see why Elon bet big on the Robotaxi and Cybercab. Elon is 10 steps ahead of everyone, and it's not even close. Never bet against Elon.$

Most impressive and memorable Songkran 💦 🧸: can you believe that I used to play Songkran in Silom (a well-known street in Bangkok for playing Songkran) for two years? But my dad was there too, I wasn’t there by myself. I was there with my friends from school, and the parents were all behind us. My dad would shoot (water gun) people who’d shoot me. 🦋: dad is protective 🧸: yes! I’ve never had anyone dabbed powder on my face. I don’t allow it to be touched as I’m very protective of my face. I’m mainly focused on spraying the water. In Set 9, I was Top 10 in BoxBox Bootcamp. There were 36 minutes until elimination, and I only needed 5 LP (a 4th) to make it to the cutoff. By a stroke of luck, a queue pops with 33 minutes left on the clock. A TFT game is typically 35 minutes, which meant I would have to surrender to end the game prematurely to get the 4th rather than playing it out I played out of my mind and did not say a single word for 32 minutes straight, and I found myself fighting for a Top 4 with 5 HP left. The guy in 5th had 3 HP, so in this last round, I just needed him to die with less units killed. I hit a necessary 5-cost Aatrox on my LAST BIT OF GOLD and my board spikes. The best case scenario happens, I get a <2 unit loss, my opponent takes a 4 unit loss. I see my chat in my peripheral vision going crazy because I realized I was gonna make the cutoff with less than a minute left. With adrenaline pumping and "I have to forfeit ASAP" in my head, I type /ff... But... because I didn't wait for the death animation to finish, I surrender before the next round comes. When you surrender in TFT, your health goes straight to -99. When I saw the results screen, I froze. My limbs were cold from the nerves, but I didn't even feel it. I looked at my screen in despair, as I had just witnessed the end of my bootcamp run. The clip below is from my only TFT upload on my channel. In Set 14, I got #2 in the Bootcamp and lost by 1 game's worth of LP. #1 grinded more, wanted it more, and improved like a beast. I could only respect such a gallant victory. I just stop, flash my headlights. 8 cop cars come out of nowhere. I get a call, follow us. And my 15-year-old son is going like, Dad, who do you know? He's like, you're the coolest dude. How I wished the days would pass and then I forget that these days is my life... I wonder when this war will end. We don't have the energy to bear anymore.. There is no point in things coming late, like a kiss of apology on the forehead of a dead person.. I hope the war ends before it is too late because no one will be left alive here... My friends and loved ones.. This Mo again with a new update.. Yesterday there was another bombing in the apartment where I go to get an internet signal.. but I was not there.. I was at home.. I am no longer online much because the area I go to in order to get an Internet signal has become very dangerous... My daughter, Julia, is slowly recovering. She sends her greetings to you and says thank you for your gift. She feels happy to have fresh fish and vegetables.. My friends and dear ones.. Two weeks ago, I bought food for the cats and I felt that I would not find food for them because the supplies here had run out. Fortunately for me, I found what I wanted on the black market, but at ridiculous prices. To make the food last as long as possible, I mix it with bread... One of the merchants called me and told me that he had taken some of his goods out of his store, which was destroyed, and that he intended to sell them. I told him to give me some time so I can bring him the money.. I intend to bring everything he has for the cats I have... because I'm sure I won't find food for them soon... If I buy them this amount, I will not have to worry about their food until the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025.. For everyone who doesn't know me.. Im Mo from Gaza.. Interested in rescuing cats I did a lot of rescue missions before the war... and I had a modest shelter with more than 60 cats... But unfortunately, the crazy war came and destroyed the shelter. Some of them died, some of them escaped, and I have 25 cats left. I do my best to preserve them and give them all my time and attention.. If you are interested in supporting me to get cat food until the end of the year I would be very grateful to you.. I hope everyone will participate and contribute by supporting me and retweeting, which helps spread..
