In 2016, I had the sacred privilege of organizing the first stake in Prague, Czech Republic. You can imagine the joy I felt returning 10 years later to dedicate a beautiful new stake center in this same stake. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in this region has not always been easy. Yet through unwavering devotion and trust in the Lord, the faith of members of the Church has endured. As we look back with gratitude for those who came before, we can move forward with hope and confidence in the future. This new meetinghouse symbolizes the faith of members old and new and will be a blessing for all who come and see.

The fire of the Gospel burned bright in the prison darkness tonight. - Preached to 30+ men in solitary. - Gave out Bibles. - Prayed individually cell by cell. - Many lives impacted. Several inmates repented and prayed with me to follow Jesus. All the glory to Jesus our Lord! —— Two Testimonies——- Carlos. With tears running down his tattooed face Carlos said “Calvin, when I prayed with you to give my life to Jesus I could feel it. Like a giant weight came off of me.” “God gave you a new heart” I replied. “The old Carlos is gone. The new Carlos is reborn in Jesus.” We worshipped the Lord together. I gave Carlos a Bible and study materials. As I left I could see him crying and thanking Jesus through the small window of his metal solitary door. Jimmy. “I’m a Muslim but what you preached tonight about Jesus really spoke to me. Can you pray for me? I want to know the truth” Jimmy said to me. I gave him his first Bible. Driving is done everyone!! we can finally get in a car and drive across the whole city. Day 19 of building our own GTA 6 with a loop of AI agents. Today's progress: - Driving works now. you can get in a car and actually drive through the whole city. (BIG Shout out to J A Z I I) Right now it's laggy, because we are performance maxxxing. Next I'm going to make a pause menu to lower the performance.. After that it's all about the feel. driving, aiming, and shooting have to actually feel good, not just work, so the core gameplay is smooth. Quick question for everyone: for the demo, should we just get more drivable cars, multiplayer, and weapons at first, then enhance it from there?

THE ONE WORD JESUS NEVER SAID If Jesus only meant the Eucharist as a symbol, there is one word He could have used. He never did. That omission changed history. It still divides Christianity today. And once you notice it, it is difficult to unsee. In John chapter 6, Jesus tells the crowd something that shocks them more than any miracle He had performed. “I am the living bread that came down from heaven... the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.” The crowd immediately understands His meaning. Not symbolically. Literally. They begin arguing among themselves. “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” This is the turning point. If they had misunderstood Him, this was the perfect opportunity to clarify. Imagine if Jesus had said, “You misunderstood Me. I only meant this figuratively.” Or, “My flesh simply represents My teaching.” Or, “This is only a symbol.” Instead, He does the exact opposite. He repeats Himself. Again. And again. With even stronger language. “My flesh is true food.” “My blood is true drink.” “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life.” The Greek text becomes even more striking. Earlier in the discourse, St. John uses the ordinary Greek verb for eating. Then, as the tension rises, he changes to another verb that literally means “to chew” or “to gnaw.” The language becomes more concrete, not less. Jesus intensifies the claim instead of softening it. Then something extraordinary happens. Many of His own disciples leave. Not His enemies. His disciples. They say, “This saying is hard. Who can accept it?” Notice what Jesus does next. He lets them go. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus often corrected misunderstandings. When Nicodemus thought Jesus meant physical birth, Jesus explained. When the disciples misunderstood the leaven of the Pharisees, Jesus explained. When people thought He was speaking about literal sleep instead of death, Jesus explained. But here, where His teaching causes many disciples to walk away... He gives no correction. No clarification. No apology. No pursuit. Instead, He turns to the Twelve and asks, “Will you also go away?” Peter answers with one of the most beautiful professions of faith in Scripture. “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” Notice that Peter does not say, “Now we understand.” He says, in effect, “We do not fully understand, but we trust You.” That is faith. About one year later, at the Last Supper, Jesus fulfills what He promised. He does not say, “This symbolizes my body.” He does not say, “This reminds you of my body.” He says, “This is my body.” “This is my blood.” The first Christians understood these words exactly as they were spoken. Around A.D. 107, while being led to martyrdom in Rome, St. Ignatius of Antioch warned Christians about those who refused to believe that the Eucharist is truly the flesh of Jesus Christ. This is remarkable. He wrote this only a few years after the death of St. John the Apostle. The belief in the Real Presence was not a medieval invention. It was the faith of the Apostolic Church. A few decades later, St. Justin Martyr explained to the Roman Emperor that Christians did not receive ordinary bread and ordinary wine, but the flesh and blood of Christ made present through the words of Jesus. Generation after generation, the testimony remains the same. The Eucharist is not merely sacred. It is Christ Himself. This also explains something many people overlook. Every miracle Jesus performed restored earthly life. The blind received sight. The lame walked. The dead were raised. But every one of those people eventually died again. The Eucharist is different. It is the only gift Jesus gave that is ordered toward eternal life itself. “Whoever eats this bread will live forever.” No prophet could make that promise. No angel could make that promise. Only God.

In 1625, a sculpture was unveiled in Rome that made the people who saw it believe in miracles. And the man who carved it was just 23 when he started... The story comes from Ovid's Metamorphoses, written in the year 8 AD. Apollo, struck by Cupid's golden arrow, falls helplessly in love with the nymph Daphne. She, struck by Cupid's arrow of lead, despises him. He chases her through the woods. She runs until her strength gives out, and then she calls to her father, the river god Peneus, to save her. Peneus answers his daughter the only way he can: he transforms her into a laurel tree. Her feet take root. Bark closes over her skin. Her arms become branches and her fingers become leaves... Gian Lorenzo Bernini chose to carve the exact moment it begins. Cardinal Scipione Borghese commissioned the work in 1622 and Bernini bought the block of Carrara marble that August. He worked on it for three years and by the time the sculpture was finished in 1625, he had done something no one had ever done in stone. Apollo's fingers press into Daphne's side, and the marble gives way under them like flesh. Her toes have become roots, and you can see the bark spiraling up her leg. Her hair fans behind her as if still caught in the wind. And at the tips of her fingers, where her hands are turning into branches, the marble becomes leaves so thin that light passes through them. When it was unveiled, Bernini's biographer Filippo Baldinucci recorded what happened: "Immediately when it was finished, there arose such a cry that all Rome concurred in seeing it as a miracle." 400 years later, the sculpture has never left the room it was made for. It still stands in the Galleria Borghese, in the same villa, in the same city where it was first called a miracle. Centuries have come and gone, and Daphne is still mid-transformation, frozen forever in the instant before she disappears... And that catalytic moment was this new Prime Minister that was just elected. So if you take valuation, which everyone's ignored now for the past two years in the yen, all of a sudden this moment takes it from here and puts it at the very top. That's literally what trading is all about."
