The chairperson of the commission justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga grilled chief Mashaba to elaborate why did he believes the information he was given by Mr Nkuu was positive. Social media commentator says Malema's defiance of Madlanga Commission shows fear A social media commentator has publicly challenged Julius Malema over his recent remarks about the #MadlangaCommission of Inquiry, accusing him of trying to "rehearse" his response before ever being called to testify. MKP and Jacob Zuma in his personal capacity went to Constitutional Court and High Court to try and stop the commission. 2. MKP deployed its Gauteng members and leadership to protest outside the Madlanga Commission venue to try and impose fear on the Madlanga Commissioners and the evidence leaders. 3. MKP said the Madlanga Commission is a fruitless and wasteful expenditure process. 4. MKP said Ad Hoc Committee is qualified enough to even do better than the Madlanga Commission. Thank you President Ramaphosa for defending the Madlanga Commission in Court ..... otherwise we would not be having this wonderful Commission. Since the eruption of the IDAC noise, I went back to watch the Vusumuzi "Cat" Matlala's testimony before the Adhoc Committee. One thing stood out: he implicated several people, including: 🔹️ Dumisani Khumalo 🔹️ Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi 🔹️ Bheki Cele 🔹️ Brown Mogotsi 🔹️ Senzo Mchunu This aspect appears to have gone largely under the radar. Matlala pointed to the existence of a syndicate within Crime Intelligence and placed Khumalo, Cele and others at the centre of it. Mchunu may have had his own questionable motives, but he was also caught in a web created by individuals using criminal activities to trap him. He was fighting an uphill battle against elements determined to preserve the networks and influence built during the Cele era. The sooner Khumalo is removed from Crime Intelligence, the better it will be for honest, hard-working police generals and politicians who want law enforcement institutions to function without fear, factionalism or criminal infiltration. I hope the Madlanga Commission will also demand the devices of Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, Bheki Cele, Dumisani Khumalo and everyone mentioned by Cat Matlala. Empty their details and analyise their communications from 2020 till 2026.

The NNPCL GCEO, Bashir Bayo Ojulari said that the company will continue drilling for oil in the north and that he will complete the AKK project. He also added that he is a Northern boy, he grown up in Kaduna, and that he started learning Yoruba when he was 15 years old. In his interview with BBC Hausa, he added that he studied in Zaria and wants the northern people to support him in doing his job, so that it will bring development to the north and Nigeria at large. He also asked for prayers, as his job is not the kind of job that one person can do alone. He urged everyone to join hands and move Nigeria forward. He also said that going forward, you will not hear about Dangote and NNPCL fighting in the newspapers.

Chair Ntate Madlanga has been informed that Honourable Member of Parliament Fadiel Adams an former construction worker who dropped out of Grade 11 and who serves on the Portfolio Committee on Police has been using a faulty laptop since October 2025. He has struggled with this problem throughout, and Parliament’s IT technicians are fully aware of the issue; they could even submit an affidavit confirming both the defective laptop and their inability to resolve it. Consequently, he has received no assistance for the past 10 months. During the proceedings, Adams repeatedly referred to Ntate Madlanga as “Justice” and “Judge.” He was reminded that, because of his behaviour to the Commission, he must show respect both to the Commission itself and to the people he represents. #MadlangaCommission

You know that classic political move: "do something" just to buy time, to calm the noise, to look like you're in control. But what he didn't realize is that this one is different. This is not the Zondo Commission. This Madlanga Commission is not here to clean up his image, but it's here to bury him. And truth be told, it already has. Ramaphosa will not survive what is coming. The truth has weight, and every day, it's adding more and more on his shoulders. Whether he ends up behind bars or not is almost secondary. If he lives long enough, yes, he'll face prison. But even now, he's already serving time. He's a prisoner of his own guilt and public hatred. The people have rejected him, that's a prison. With all his billions, he can't walk freely among his people, that's a prison. And the walls of that prison were built by his own hands, brick by brick, since Marikana. So yes, Ramaphosa made a fatal mistake by calling for this commission.
