If Christ founded one Church, where was your church before Luther? And if the Catholic Church was not the Church founded by Christ, then where was the true Church for 1,500 years? Christ promised the gates of Hades would not prevail against His Church. So what happened? Did the Church vanish? Did Christianity completely collapse into error until the 1500s? This priest here is obviously speaking Latin, which is the language of the Catholic Church. I can't speak Latin. So I won't be able to respond to what the priest is saying on my own without looking at my Missal. But I can follow along and respond in English because I know exactly what he is saying. This is the beauty the Catholic Church has that no denomination on earth has. The church is one and true.
