UPDATE: The police are still keeping our reporter David Menzies in jail Instead of arresting the violent Hamas thugs, they arrested David Menzies. Ezra Levant 🍁🚛 in downtown Toronto at the 52 Division police station. Our reporter David Menzies is in the jail inside. Here’s hisupdate: Ezra heard from Leora Shemesh, the lawyer we hired for David. She says the police are deciding whether to release him tonight or to keep him in jail, and actually have a bail hearing for him in the morning. As in, to try to keep him in jail until his trial. Trial for what? If you watch the video of his arrest, it’s David who was assaulted by pro-Hamas protesters. They hit him, shoved him and slapped the microphone out of his hand. And they hit our cameraman, @realmonsanto, too. David did nothing wrong at all. Police were standing RIGHT THERE. But instead of arresting the violent Hamas thugs, they arrested David. David was completely flabbergasted. When he asked what the charge was, you can hear the cop saying it’s for failure to leave the premises. Huh? It’s a public square. In front of City Hall. Where a public gathering was happening — a pro-Israel vigil to remember the victims of Hamas’s terrorist attack six months ago. It was the Hamas thugs who came to disturb the peace. But the cowardly Toronto cops knew that if they took on the Hamas mob, they would likely fight back violently. And they’d probably get an angry phone call from Justin Trudeau, too, who has already had a highly inappropriate private meeting with Toronto’s Police chief, to tell him what to do. So, right now we don’t know if David is going to be released tonight or not. Efron and Ezra are going to wait here until we find out. This really has to stop. Toronto Police have to stop being the personal concierges for Hamas hate marchers. They have to uphold the law. And that law includes the Charter of Rights which guarantees David freedom of the press. This is a two part battle: 1. Defend against the B.S. criminal charges against David (and fight the bail hearing, if required); and 2. Go on the offensive, and sue the daylights out of the Toronto Police. Shooting the messenger? Rebel News reporter BANNED FOR LIFE from visiting Tim Hortons! Just when you think you’ve seen everything, along comes a story about a double-double turning into double trouble… You may recall our recent reports regarding Tim Hortons. We exposed the company for lying through its teeth at a recent presser. Tim Hortons said they were going to go back to hiring Canadian citizens. That would be great news if only it were true. That’s because Tim’s is STILL making use of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program! Check out the federal government’s job board. Tim’s currently has about 90 positions available under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. Sure, Tim Hortons loves selling its wares to Canadians. As for hiring Canadians? Nah. Not so much… But get this: we discovered Tim Hortons has a very thin skin. Because when the executives at Canada’s biggest foodservice company saw our reports, they blew a fuse! You see, Tim’s is used to getting positive press from the mainstream media. Tim’s is one of the largest advertisers in Canada. This company has a cozy business arrangement with the trained seals in the mainstream media. And it boils down to this: report nice stuff about Tim’s, and Tim’s will cut some big cheques for ads. Quid pro quo. But unlike the mainstream media, Rebel News is not domesticated. We don’t bend the knee to this company or any other company. And so it was that Tim’s decided to play hardball. Which is to say, the company was so infuriated with our reporting that Rebel News was sent a legal letter. Here’s the skinny: for practicing unauthorized and unapproved journalism, I am now BANNED FOR LIFE from going to any Tim Hortons store in Canada! We’re not making this up! Here’s an excerpt from that letter: “David Menzies, due to past behaviour, is not, for any reason, permitted access to the premises, including parking lots, landscaped areas, and drive-thrus of any Tim Hortons restaurant in Canada, any and all manufacturing and distribution facilities owned or operated by TDL across Canada and the Tim Hortons offices in Montreal, Calgary and Toronto.” The letter is signed by a Mr. Tim Bit. (OK, we made up that last part. But the truth is, we don’t know who signed the letter because we can’t read the signature. But it sure looks like “Tim Bit” to us…) But seriously, such a cruel punishment, eh? You see, I can no longer purchase an inedible edible that tastes like a piece of rancid cardboard. I cannot venture into a bathroom that resembles a public beach in Mumbai, India. I can no longer gaze upon a baked goods display case overrun by insects. Oh, say it ain’t so! Gee, what other “delights” can I look forward to being banned from? Going for a scenic drive in Kapuskasing during a winter blizzard? Being denied floor seats at a Yoko Ono concert? Oh, the humanity…! Don’t worry, Tim’s. I promise to stay out of your filthy restaurants and never again consume your garbage cuisine. Besides, in the months ahead, some 700 Dunkin’ Donuts are going to open in Canada. We can’t wait! But get this: even me being on a public sidewalk near a Tim Hortons is unacceptable to the Tim Wits. That’s what we found out last Thursday when we returned to the Aurora Tim’s. Myself and cameraman Lincoln Jay obeyed the legal letter and recorded a follow-up video from the sidewalk along Wellington Street East. Alas, the mere sight of Rebel News staffers – even from afar – had the owner frothing mad. He actually called the cops! And incredibly, THREE York Regional Police cruisers rushed to the scene of the non-crime. They lingered there for more than an hour. Why? Who knows? Oh, just to put things in perspective, York Region is in the midst of its worst crime wave ever. And this is what law enforcement squanders its resources on? Unbelievable… So, in the final analysis, what have we learned about Tim Hortons? Firstly, this company is run by a bunch of traitors. Tim Hortons, which grossly wraps itself in the Maple Leaf, prefers to hire noncitizens over Canadians. Because this multi-billion dollar company is all about the bottom line and it will use any nickel-and-dime strategy to boost profits. Ethics mean nothing to this company. Secondly, Tim Hortons is run by bullies. We caught them in a blatant lie. And we called them out. And for the utter temerity of reporting the truth, they threaten me with arrest? These are Banana Republic garbage tactics. How sad. We think of the late great hockey player for whom this company is named. That Tim Horton must be rolling in his grave right now. Just when you think you’ve seen everything, along comes a story about a double-double turning into double trouble… You may recall our recent reports regarding Tim Hortons. We exposed the company for lying through its teeth at a recent presser. Tim Hortons said they were going to go back to hiring Canadian citizens. That would be great news if only it were true. That’s because Tim’s is STILL making use of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program! Check out the federal government’s job board. Tim’s currently has about 90 positions available under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. Sure, Tim Hortons loves selling its wares to Canadians. As for hiring Canadians? Nah. Not so much… But get this: we discovered Tim Hortons has a very thin skin. Because when the executives at Canada’s biggest foodservice company saw our reports, they blew a fuse! You see, Tim’s is used to getting positive press from the mainstream media. Tim’s is one of the largest advertisers in Canada. This company has a cozy business arrangement with the trained seals in the mainstream media. And it boils down to this: report nice stuff about Tim’s, and Tim’s will cut some big cheques for ads. Quid pro quo. But unlike the mainstream media, Rebel News is not domesticated. We don’t bend the knee to this company or any other company. And so it was that Tim’s decided to play hardball. Which is to say, the company was so infuriated with our reporting that Rebel News was sent a legal letter. Here’s the skinny: for practicing unauthorized and unapproved journalism, I am now BANNED FOR LIFE from going to any Tim Hortons store in Canada! We’re not making this up! Here’s an excerpt from that letter: “David Menzies, due to past behaviour, is not, for any reason, permitted access to the premises, including parking lots, landscaped areas, and drive-thrus of any Tim Hortons restaurant in Canada, any and all manufacturing and distribution facilities owned or operated by TDL across Canada and the Tim Hortons offices in Montreal, Calgary and Toronto.” The letter is signed by a Mr. Tim Bit. (OK, we made up that last part. But the truth is, we don’t know who signed the letter because we can’t read the signature. But it sure looks like “Tim Bit” to us…) But seriously, such a cruel punishment, eh? You see, I can no longer purchase an inedible edible that tastes like a piece of rancid cardboard. I cannot venture into a bathroom that resembles a public beach in Mumbai, India. I can no longer gaze upon a baked goods display case overrun by insects. Oh, say it ain’t so! Gee, what other “delights” can I look forward to being banned from? Going for a scenic drive in Kapuskasing during a winter blizzard? Being denied floor seats at a Yoko Ono concert? Oh, the humanity…! Don’t worry, Tim’s. I promise to stay out of your filthy restaurants and never again consume your garbage cuisine. Besides, in the months ahead, some 700 Dunkin’ Donuts are going to open in Canada. We can’t wait! But get this: even me being on a public sidewalk near a Tim Hortons is unacceptable to the Tim Wits. That’s what we found out last Thursday when we returned to the Aurora Tim’s. Myself and cameraman Lincoln Jay obeyed the legal letter and recorded a follow-up video from the sidewalk along Wellington Street East. Alas, the mere sight of Rebel News staffers – even from afar – had the owner frothing mad. He actually called the cops! And incredibly, THREE York Regional Police cruisers rushed to the scene of the non-crime. They lingered there for more than an hour. Why? Who knows? Oh, just to put things in perspective, York Region is in the midst of its worst crime wave ever. And this is what law enforcement squanders its resources on? Unbelievable… So, in the final analysis, what have we learned about Tim Hortons? Firstly, this company is run by a bunch of traitors. Tim Hortons, which grossly wraps itself in the Maple Leaf, prefers to hire noncitizens over Canadians. Because this multi-billion dollar company is all about the bottom line and it will use any nickel-and-dime strategy to boost profits. Ethics mean nothing to this company. Secondly, Tim Hortons is run by bullies. We caught them in a blatant lie. And we called them out. And for the utter temerity of reporting the truth, they threaten me with arrest? These are Banana Republic garbage tactics. How sad. We think of the late great hockey player for whom this company is named. That Tim Horton must be rolling in his grave right now. The court heard the motive for the attack was over drugs, although the exact reasons remained unclear. Prosecutor Alexandra Healy KC had told jurors: 'It appears from the drugs subsequently found on Mr Senaj and messages received from his phone that he was involved in drug dealing.' Judge Judy Khan KC said it was 'a callous and shocking attack' in a public street, which was 'pre-meditated and planned'. Drug dealer Khan was found guilty of murder and having a blade and was jailed for life with a minimum term of 26 years for his leading role. Miah was found guilty of murder and admitted having a blade and was detained for life a minimum term of 25 years. The sentence reflected Miah's separate conviction for a brutal rape a 15-year-old girl in a north London park in March 2023. The girl was raped, punched in the jaw and rendered unconscious as a result of the hour-long attack, the court was told. Judge Khan told Miah that his offending painted an 'extremely disturbing picture'. Ali and Naim, both from East Ham in east London, were cleared of murder but convicted of the lesser offence of manslaughter. It includes people from the Regen Ag community, metabolic health community, functional medicine doctors, chefs, some Libertarians incl Thomas Massie , some progressives, some greens, Dems and Repubs, etc. The Regen Ag community just noted above includes farmers, ranchers, scientists, soil health advocates, film makers, chefs, etc from both rural and urban environments from all across the political spectrum since soil, planetary health, human health, etc are all our common ground. Or, as my good friend Gabe Brown says, common ground for common good. So, "MAHA" is a very diverse coalition that's growing larger and stronger every day. It also really has nothing to do with which candidate you support or color tribe you belong to despite RFK Jr's association with Trump. Though there are a lot of efforts to work with both sides of the political aisle to better connect food production & food with better health and environmental health outcomes. To that end, my friend Mark Hyman, M.D. wrote this book, , and has been doing a lobbying campaign for what he advocates in his 13th NYT best seller. Something very weird happened last night. SNEAKO, a pro-Hitler, pro-IRGC, pro-Osama Bin Laden and openly anti-Jewish and anti-American streamer called X Head of Product Nikita Bier Nikita Bier live during his stream to talk about X streaming. Nikita answered Sneako’s call immediately and replied by typing, “it’s only the beginning….welcome to X” when Sneako told his chat he was streaming on X. "We just launched our new streaming tools.. we're gonna keep investing in it”, Nikita said. Nikita was very casual in his call with Sneako, which means this isn’t the first time they have spoken. Given Sneako’s open support of Islamic terrorists, I’d say Sneako is not a good brand ambassador for X. I really enjoy using X and I am grateful Elon Musk purchased the platform where so many people bypass the mainstream media and create content that inspires the masses. I worry that someone like Sneako will drive people away from the platform that so many of us enjoy using. I hope we can get some answers about this because Sneako actively roots for Amercia’s adversaries on his stream and frequently supports Islamic jihad. When the Ayatollah was killed in an airstrike, Sneako held a memorial stream for him and said he was rooting for Iran. Sneako once tweeted that Osama Bin Laden, the mastermind of 9/11 “did nothing wrong”. You’ll recall, Sneako was also just caught on camera in a club in Miami a couple months ago throwing up a Nazi salute while singing the song “Heil Hitler”. I really enjoy X and have been multi-streaming on Rumble 🏴‍☠️ and X for over a year to create original content. I hope Nikita will reach out to a plethora of other content creators and not allow the X brand to be overrun by Sneako’s third world pro-terror streams where he works to radicalize his young male audience into converting to Islam, hating America, and hating the Jews. Every single project that strengthens India gets the same treatment from this man. Rafale was a scam. Vande Bharat was an insult. Chandrayaan was a stunt. The new Parliament was a coronation. CAA was anti Muslim. Sengol was theatre. Every road, every port, every airport, every defence deal that makes Bharat stronger becomes, in his vocabulary, a “scam” or a “crime.” Whose interests is he actually serving when he travels thousands of kilometres only to demoralise a project that sits at the doorstep of the Strait of Malacca, through which 30 percent of global maritime trade passes? Whose strategy is he advancing when he tries to block India’s answer to China’s String of Pearls, the very port that will end our dependence on Colombo and Singapore for transhipment? Now let us bring out the data Rahul Gandhi will never put in his videos. The total area of Great Nicobar Island is around 910 square kilometres. Out of this, 853 square kilometres, that is 92 percent of the entire island, is constitutionally protected as Tribal Reserve under the 1956 regulation. The project footprint is 166 square kilometres. That is roughly 18 percent of the island, and the tribal reserve remains overwhelmingly intact. The tribal population Rahul Gandhi is suddenly weeping for is approximately 1,200. The Shompen, around 200. The Nicobarese, around 1,000. Eight hundred square kilometres of pristine, protected forest stays exclusively reserved for them. Untouched. Guaranteed by law. And here comes the inconvenient truth that destroys his entire video. The Tribal Council itself has issued a No Objection Certificate to the Government of India. The very communities Rahul Gandhi claims to speak for have already given written consent. The Gram Sabhas have passed resolutions. Yet this man parachutes in from Delhi, ignores the actual voice of the actual tribals on the actual ground, and decides HE will speak for them in English on Twitter for his foreign audience. US Empire Managers View Iranian Sovereignty As An Act Of Aggression, And Other Notes Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced on Wednesday that the US is going to be launching major strikes in Iran, while President Trump says he’ll “bomb the shit out of” the Iranians if they don’t agree to a deal of his liking. The latest wave of US airstrikes has already reportedly damaged critical civilian infrastructure, which according to the Iranian government has cut off some 20,000 Iranians from their water supply amid sweltering heat. Meanwhile the US war machine is acting like a poor widdle victim and claiming it’s only bombing Iran in order to defend itself from unwarranted aggression. CENTCOM released a statement on Wednesday saying “U.S. Central Command forces began launching additional self-defense strikes today at 5:15 p.m. ET against multiple targets in Iran at the Commander in Chief’s direction. The strikes are in response to Iran’s unwarranted and continued aggression.” Yep, sure, I know what that’s like. I just drove across town to break into someone’s house and he tried to stop me from pouring gasoline all over his living room, so I had to kill him in self-defense. The US is like a malignant narcissist who begins with the assumption that everyone is obligated to provide him with deference and validation, and then takes it as a personal attack whenever they set normal boundaries. Empire managers really do believe the entire planet should submit to their authority and that it’s an unprovoked act of aggression when this isn’t given to them. ❖ The claim “Iran is the world’s largest state sponsor of terror” only makes sense when you remember that the western empire labels any group which opposes US/Israeli interests as a terrorist organization. They even designated the IRGC as a terrorist group for fuck’s sake. If you define a major part of a country’s actual military forces as a terrorist entity, then obviously that country will per your own definition be a major “sponsor of terrorism” just by having a military. Other Iran-backed groups like Hamas and Hezbollah are counted as “terrorist organizations” by the western empire, even as the rest of the world declines to classify them as such. For the overwhelming majority of the world’s governments those organizations are not terrorist entities, they’re just armed factions who oppose Israel and its western backers. They only get to define Iran as the top “sponsor of terrorism” because they say anyone who doesn’t like them is a terrorist. It’s like if I said anyone who doesn’t like Caitlin Johnstone is a Nazi and then went around punching them, and if anyone objected I said “But they’re Nazis! Why are you defending Nazis??” Really they’re just people who don’t like me, but because I’ve changed the definition of “Nazi” to “someone who dislikes Caitlin Johnstone” I can then use that label to justify physically assaulting them. That’s all the “terrorist” label exists to accomplish these days. It’s just a label they affix to any faction which poses an obstacle to the empire’s goals of planetary domination. ❖ Trita Parsi has a new article out arguing that Iran’s attacks on Israel in response to its Lebanon onslaught could represent “a new regional equation” where the Zionist entity is no longer free to do whatever it likes in the middle east, because Iran may start imposing consequences for its actions. It’s an intriguing possibility. I hope the US/Israeli efforts to topple the Iranian government continue to fail. I hope Iran gets stronger so that it can hammer Israel whenever Israel does evil things.
