Hard disagree that TPP is the way esports should be played. Sure, your casual player base enjoys TPP the most, however, your most dedicated players and the highest skill ceiling revolves within the FPP space. Poor marketing decision and pivot. You should be supporting FPP.

TPP is not even remotely close to as competitive as FPP. Esports is supposed to be the highest skill level of players, you can lower the skill gap in public matches but doing it in esports is a slap in the face to the players, fans, orgs, and the game itself.

And the signature events are to be hosted predominantly in the US, around the 4 major championships. The purse sizes is fluid and dependent on the new investors. From an extensive amount of sourcing, I expect them to be $15 million for 5 events and $10 million for the rest. With a potential weighting that distributes more money at the top of the leaderboard. A well placed LIV Golf source said: “We are very confident future purses will be above DP World Tour levels and player take home will be in line with the PGA Tour.” From sourcing within player ranks, the purse sizes are, obviously, one of the most important factors impacting their commitment. Several players suggested to me if the purses fall in line with the DP World Tour they probably wouldn’t stay. But at $10-$15 million it’s a different proposition. More clarity is needed though on both LIV Golf’s future and the new structure of the PGA Tour to get a better picture. KBW has come to a close. This past week was so busy that it’s hard to even remember how the days went by. The entire Abstract team on the ground pushed through 5–10 meetings, interviews, and events each day, sometimes on IV drips, fighting our own battles on every front. We spent meaningful time and conversations with major Korean teams and institutions (still under wraps) that we’re building with, as well as domestic and global stakeholders working together to grow Abstract. We believe we’ll be able to share some of these outcomes in the near future. Scottie Scheffler was asked ahead of the Masters if he’s surprised himself with how quickly he became the best player in the world and not only did he give a great answer, but he also explained why pathways are so important: “I mean, that's a good question. I think it's a hard one to answer. I always had faith and belief in myself, but I didn't -- I never told myself I want to win these tournaments. I always just had what I feel like were dreams and aspirations, and I feel like I had the talent to be able to accomplish certain things. “I never really kind of thought this far ahead. When I turned pro, I kind of went through all the steps. I tried some Monday qualifiers for the Korn Ferry Tour. I played some mini tour events to stay sharp. I went through Q-School, went through Korn Ferry Tour, and then I got out on the PGA Tour. Everything for me was step by step. “The year I played on the Korn Ferry Tour, I had some opportunities to come out here and play on the PGA Tour, but my manager and I kind of spoke about just being -- you can only be on the Tour where you're at, and our goal that year was to continue to play good golf, focus on the Korn Ferry Tour, develop, get better, and then get ready for the PGA Tour. “We just kind of took everything step by step, so I never really looked that far ahead, to be honest with you.” Scottie Scheffler’s rise to the top happened fast but he had to work his way up from the bottom tiers of professional golf. He turned pro in 2018 after graduating and played Monday Qualifiers for the Korn Ferry Tour, he then earned a card via Q School for 2019. That year he was Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year and earned a PGA Tour card for the 2019/20 season where he was rookie of the year. He then made his Ryder Cup debut in 2021, beating the then world number 1 Jon Rahm in the singles. That gave him the confidence to go on and win 3 times in early 2022 to overtake Jon and become world number 1 himself. He then won the 2022 Masters by 3 shots over Rory McIlroy becoming just the 5th player in history to don the green jacket as the best player in the world and he’s never looked back.
