Unpopular Opinion: I don’t think Afrobeats needs more subcategories. Nigerian artistes need to be content with being integrated into contemporary/already existing genres. For instance; these sounds fall under edm or house music; so maybe Afro House? Sounds cool, but if we create more niches how do we get accepted into the global market?

The second frame had me searching Valentino immediately. She’s the kind of discovery that makes these compilations interesting.
