Thanks Rutendo for a meticulously researched, well informed and elegantly presented documentary on Rwanda. I enjoyed watching it and left much more informed than before. We need more such intellectual documentaries for other countries in Africa. Next one, Burkina Faso?

Yes, we need Africans who can do professional and informed documentaries to inform our decision makers and politicians so that they make better decisions to advance peace on the continent.

Your Documentary on Goma war should be given award. You did a tremendous job, many people didn't know what was happening in Congo, more specifically in kivu, where congolese Rwandaphones live under the percecutions of Congolese government

I think it played a part in convincing the powers that be to undertake an inquiry into a deployment that they initially thought was necessary.

This is not journalism โ itโs misinformation disguised as reporting! The Greater Kivu region has an estimated population of around 20 million people. And yet, you assert that Banyarwanda number 11 million within this territory? Thatโs more than half the population โ a claim that raises serious questions about your sources and intent. You speak of persecution against Banyarwanda โ but on what basis? Have you conducted independent investigations, spoken with diverse communities, or verified claims with neutral observers? Or were your conclusions shaped while being chaperoned through conflict zones by M23 rebels? Letโs be honest and rigorous about the linguistic and cultural context too. As a Bantu-language speaker, you are surely aware of the significance of the prefixes "mu-" (singular) and "ba-" (plural). These aren't just grammatical tools โ they carry deep cultural and identity-based meanings, denoting individual and collective identity within a defined sociolinguistic framework. So when one claims to be โBanyarwanda,โ are they invoking ethnic origin, civic identity, or a political allegiance? Letโs stop misusing language, numbers, and suffering for geopolitical agendas. The people of Kivu โ all of them โ deserve better than distorted narratives that amplify division and obscure the truth.

I am not a journalist. I am a communication expert.

The answer is simple, they did not die for direct South African national defense, nor did they die protecting their homeland. They died for political and economic interests far beyond their control.

Maybe thatโs what the commission of inquiry will prove to all South Africans.

Wena you must focus on zimbabwe please you are not south african and you will never be....we no you tell people that you are from SA when you are traveling

As long as the information I present still has an impact of getting Africans to negotiate and stopping fights against each other to save African lives, then that job is more important than taking about my country only. Why do you have a problem with me talking about what saves African lives? Why do you want to confine me to colonial border like an imperialist?
