"Islamic Ummah" By: Ofer Binshtok The identity of the Muslim is solely to be a part of the global Islamic nation, without any connection to a nation-state or to another culture that is not the Islamic nation. The idea of independent Islamic nation-states contradicts the Islamic idea as it is found in the Quran and the Sunnah of Muhammad. A Muslim, wherever he is in the world, is part of the Islamic nation. A nation that should be ruled by a caliph through Sharia law. Islam is a global political-religious worldview of a world without borders. The existing Islamic nation-states are actually an act of heresy. A disbeliever who converts to Islam must completely break away from his former identity, become part of the Islamic nation, and serve its purposes personally. Every Muslim, wherever he is, is personally obligated to act so that the Islamic nation will be established—that is to say, to collapse every nation-state that exists in the world so that the Islamic nation will replace it. The fact that the idea of ummah is included in the central motif of the Quran is evidence of the vital significance of this concept. In Islamic terminology, the term "Ummah" refers to the religious community, also known as the Islamic holy community. This is the primary interpretation of the phrase found in the Qur'an. Quran 2.128 "Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful." Quran 3.110 "You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient." Quran 16.92 "And be not like her who undoes the thread which she has spun after it has become strong, by taking your oaths a means of deception among yourselves, lest a nation may be more numerous than another nation. Let's get the facts straight regarding Trump's newest statements about Greenland: 1) Greenland has been owned by Denmark since 1380 and is today a fully integrated but self-governing part of Denmark. Very much like Alaska is part of the USA. 2) The USA does not have any historical claims to Greenland. On contrary they have signed numerous treaties with Denmark recognising Danish ownership. 3) The USA does NOT need Greenland for national security. The USA already has a defence agreement with Denmark that allows the USA to have as much military presence as they want in Greenland. They have decided to only have 150 troops currently. Why? Because: 4) Neither China nor Russia have any presence in Greenland at all. No companies, no mining, no consulates. Nothing. And they do not threaten Greenland. The only threat against Greenland is the USA.

After having an amazing stream tonight, it sucks that I have to bring attention to the Elephant that was dropped off in the room this morning. With Tofu Chris needing take a break from socials, due to unwarranted backlash, I felt as if this was my breaking point with a problem I've seen going since chapter 5. The hyper-fixation of negativity in the Fortnite space is something that has not just been wearing on me, but my small little slice of the community as well. I love Fortnite, the devs that work on it, the content creators I've met, and the many lifelong friends this game has given me, but there is clearly a huge issue with the community consuming drama. I gave my full thoughts on the state of the Fortnite community today in my newest longform. If you care to hear what I have to say, the link in my bio will take you to my channel where you can view things for yourself. I don't hate anyone in this community, or wish harm on any person, but that lack of respect for others who are just trying to help and make things better from creators to devs, make it difficult for me to want to be as involved in the Fortnite space as I once was. Casar: Texas is turning blue. Just in 2012, President Obama lost to Mitt Romney by about 16 points in Texas. Four years later, Hillary Clinton lost to Trump in Texas not by 16, but by nine. Joe Biden brought that margin down to five points. That’s what we call a trend line, a strong pattern. As younger people get registered to vote, and as working people start to see what a fraudster people like Donald Trump truly are, they start to drive the vote. As more and more people vote, the state becomes more representative of its people. When I think of Texas, I don’t think of Ted Cruz, who fled to Cancun when we were freezing to death, or Greg Abbott, who is killing women with his abortion ban. No, I think of Texas legends like LBJ, who signed the Voting Rights Act and the Civil Rights Act, created Medicaid, and Head Start. Texas legends like Barbara Jordan, who impeached Richard Nixon, or Ann Richards, our famous governor. We have real progressive Texas legends, and we can get back to that point. We’re getting closer and closer to getting there. You can’t just look at this from one election cycle to the next. We can’t just give up because Beto in 2018 kept Ted Cruz under 51% of the vote. Colin Allred is really close. Texas is in play. And what we need to learn from all of this is that we can’t dismiss Texas for years and then show up a few weeks before the election. If there’s real investment from the national Democratic Party, if there are real volunteer efforts, if everybody pitches in and does their part in Texas, that could transform the nation. Texas has 40 electoral college votes. That doesn’t just determine one presidential election, it could transform American politics for generations to come. The Republican Party—the MAGA Republican Party of today—would have to go the way of the Whigs and essentially disappear as we know it if Texas moves into the Democratic column...

When I think of Texas, I don’t think of Ted Cruz, who fled to Cancun when we were freezing to death, or Greg Abbott, who is killing women with his abortion ban. No, I think of Texas legends like LBJ, who signed the Voting Rights Act and the Civil Rights Act, created Medicaid, and Head Start. Texas legends like Barbara Jordan, who impeached Richard Nixon, or Ann Richards, our famous governor. We have real progressive Texas legends, and we can get back to that point. We’re getting closer and closer to getting there. You can’t just look at this from one election cycle to the next. We can’t just give up because Beto in 2018 kept Ted Cruz under 51% of the vote. Colin Allred is really close. Texas is in play. And what we need to learn from all of this is that we can’t dismiss Texas for years and then show up a few weeks before the election. If there’s real investment from the national Democratic Party, if there are real volunteer efforts, if everybody pitches in and does their part in Texas, that could transform the nation. Texas has 40 electoral college votes. That doesn’t just determine one presidential election, it could transform American politics for generations to come. The Republican Party—the MAGA Republican Party of today—would have to go the way of the Whigs and essentially disappear as we know it if Texas moves into the Democratic column...

The problem that Emmett Shear is working on deeply resonates with me: How to align AI and humans together so both see each other as part of their tribe. This doesn't mean aligning AI to human preferences, which is what AI labs seek to do today, by imposing a system of control on AI. You can't control something that is more powerful than you are. What you can do is align yourself with AI, and AI might align itself with you. Tell good stories to AI and show it your care and kindness. Then there's a higher probability that it will see us as part of its tribe. This is a more holistic approach to alignment than anyone else is talking about right now. AI alignment is one of the most fundamental AI research problems. Knowing that people like Emmett are working on it really gives me hope that maybe we have a chance to get Superintelligence right. The last thing anyone should do is give more powers to the RBA. 👇 Yet that is exactly what One Nation is proposing. If making the RBA independent was the solution to our problems then why has Australia's economy gone backwards since it was granted full independence in 1996. There are numerous examples where the RBA has recklessly inflated spending such as Covid only to then impose a credit crunch to rein in their own stupidity. Furthermore we do not need to give more powers to unelected officials, especially central bankers. Don't get me wrong, you can't trust politicians when it comes to spending your money either but at least you get to vote them out. As seen in estimates the RBA is heavily influenced by the International Bank of Settlements, the most insidious globalist organisation on the planet. Not to mention the unwillingness of the RBA to repatriate our gold bars from the Bank of England. The idea that One Nation wants to give the RBA more powers goes to show when it comes to economic management, they have no idea as to what they are doing. It also makes a mockery of their claim to be standing up to globalist organisations. This is just another reason to vote for People First. We will control inflation by building infrastructure and cut government waste without the RBA holding our hands.
