Sam Altman reveals he deliberately got himself addicted to TikTok while building Sora, then deleted it because it was too powerful like a drug. "I deleted TikTok because it was just too powerful. Here's a crazy thing that happened. When we were building the Sora app, I made myself get addicted to TikTok because I wanted to learn." "I'd never really used it before... And I loved it. I love TikTok, I really thought it was great." "And then I thought I could control it. I was like, oh, it's actually kind of fun, but I only use it for 10 minutes to wind down before bed and I'm totally in control of it." "And then it was an hour one night, and then some Saturday afternoon I was on the couch for like 3 hours, and I was like, this is really not what I thought the iPhone was supposed to be about." "Now I'm really enjoying it in the moment like a drug, but I can tell it's bad for me. And then I briefly got it back under control, down to like 5 or 10 minutes a night. Then I was just like, enough."

Asked Anfernee Simons if he’s surprised he’s been able to improve so much defensively in such a short span of time: “To be honest, I know I could improve for sure… I never thought I was the worst defender in the league. But, everybody can say anything, some data might prove it, but I always thought I could at least impactful on that side of the ball, defending in the league.” “I'm happy that the coaching staff believed in me to bring that out. It's been fun, them pushing me to be that each and every night. I'm appreciative of them believing in me that I can do it — and push me to do it.”

Karolina Muchova after losing to Linda Noskova in the Wimbledon final: "She was obviously on top for the first set and a half. But you must be proud of how you were able to turn it around and fight back and take it to a third." Karolina: "I think I started really slow today. On the other hand, Linda started really strong. Really good serving games, and she played really fast. I was kind of looking for myself. It took a lot of power and strength out of me to get back into that 2nd set. I gave it my all to get back... the people were cheering on me, I felt it, I felt the support. I felt the momentum in the 2nd set and I turned it around. It was definitely nice that it happened. It was tough. As I said, it took some strength out of me and unfortunately the start of the 3rd kind of slipped through my fingers."

Years ago, Mike Mularkey thought it would be funny to lie to me to get back at his #Titans bosses. It was not funny. With one of the biggest mysteries of my career solved, I responded on The Insiders.

The Cambridge BUSWAY! I put this fun bit up 8+ years ago. Until recently it was the most played busway vid! A fun oddity to check out. I went there to shoot a bicycling video and came upon it in the midst of shooting and asked my wonderful bike guides to tell me more about it!

Shane Battier says returning to Duke for his senior year cost him about $10,000,000 but winning a national championship and becoming more prepared for the NBA made it worth it “I had a good junior year. I was All-American, averaged about 19 [points] and probably could have came out then. Honestly, it was more important to me to be an impact player when I got to the league, and I felt like I wasn’t there yet. I was a power forward in college. I shot threes, but I was a stretch four essentially” “I knew if I went to the league, okay, I’m in the league. It probably cost me about $10 million for that one extra year I could have squeaked out. But at the time, it matters to me that I want to start. I want to be a good pro for a long time.’ So that last year of work was really important” “The leap of faith going through that process, I knew for where I wanted to be, I had to do it. But what I learned, my readiness… it was great that we won, absolutely. But you realize it really is about the journey and taking advantage of the opportunity. I was super proud of that decision”

Raven was asked when he was in ECW, was the goal to get back to WWE or WCW? “I was really happy at ECW but yes, I wanted to go back to WWE. I wanted to be the top guy in the top promotion. I got to be the top guy in the number three promotion. And for a long time, I felt like my career was a failure because of that. I think I talked about it in the movie, in the documentary, but it took a lot of time on a therapist couch to let myself off the hook. Because you hold yourself to such a high standard that I can’t see the forest for the trees. If anybody would have came up to me and told me what my career was, and it was theirs. I said, Man, you got a really successful career. But I couldn’t count it as with that for me, because I didn’t get to be a World Champion of the WWE. (Chris Van Vliet)

Last time I played Reunion, I had the mod that plays Max & Chloes theme in the end montage, and it broke me so hard.. I really thought that nothing would be able to beat that in terms of destroying me for the ending but I just played with the Obstacles mod and.. it got very close

lando on the boys trip to langkawi: "someone told me about it. originally i think it was me and carlos and maybe some of the others were going then it ended up just being more and more. but i stayed away, they went to do karting and have a bit of fun and i did my own thing. i kept to myself a little bit. honestly, it's two sides one is just good fun because they're all a good group of people and i enjoy to spend time with them and it's nice to be with people outside of racing and outside of work. but at the same time they're the last people i want to see when i have some days off 😁 so, it was a mix we had some nice dinners and play chess, we did different sports and stuff, we played padel and a bit of golf together. but at the same time, it was nice for me to do my own thing and do a bit of training and be alone for some days."

"He brought me back to life when so many people before him had killed me on the inside. He fed me positive things. When I was down and low, he would talk me out of it. It was all the help of him. That man picked me up when I was at my lowest. ... I have to thank my husband because without him I wouldn't be here." - Ms Pat

🗣️ Luke Humphries reveals that he misses Nathan Aspinall in the back room at the Premier League. "I don't think there's unprofound 'banter' behind the stage that were all going absolutely mental - you need Nathan Aspinall for that. "I miss him so much in the back room because he's full of life and he's good fun and one of my best mates on tour. When you've not got him there sometimes it's a harder environment for everyone to have that banter. "Luke keeps himself to himself and doesn't get involved in it too much anyway to be honest, I'm always a part of it and Michael van Gerwen starts it." #Darts

“I was 27 years old when I went to China, and then I had already fulfilled my personal dreams of playing in the Premier League. When the China transfer opportunity came again, I knew that was my opportunity to make money, and I decided and grabbed it, because the club already accepted my offer without me knowing” — Odion Ighalo
