As so many talk over Iranians and say “you wanted this war” and listen only to the regime supporting white SIM card holders inside Iran who by-pass the internet shut down, maybe listen to this Lebanese Shia scholar Sheikh Abbas Yazbek. He says the regime lives on conflict and tension, inciting foreign wars and killing tens of thousands of its own people. He reiterates that the international community has failed the Iranian people. The emphatic message here is that the continued existence of this regime is dangerous not just for Iran but for the whole region. In my interview with LBC, I explained that this is a full scale revolution that is growing organically through the leadership of numerous leaders, which is why the regime has a much harder time to crack down on the protests as it cannot pinpoint a source. Now is the time for us to unite around what we all want, which is freedom, the overthrowing of the regime and establishment of the secular democratic system in Iran. The people of Iran continue to embrace the support of President Trump, as it gives them hope to continue towards the overthrow of this evil regime. I am sure that President Trump also appreciates the sacrifices being made by the people of Iran, not only for their own freedom, but the safety and security of the entire world. Moulton: He bragged about ripping up Obama's deal, and yet he's trying to get a deal. He saying that regime change was never in the cards, but he asked for regime change. And the truth of the matter is he did get regime change. He replaced an 86 year old in failing health with a relatively vibrant guy in his 50s who's more hardline. So it's regime change in the opposite direction of what we want. He said that he obliterated their nuclear program just months ago, but now apparently we have to bomb them for another 2 to 3 weeks to accomplish the same goal.

This is, at least, the fifth time in recent days that he has made similar comments about regime change, but I believe this is the first time he has framed it as not being able to get better than what has already been done. “…..We've had regime change. If you look already, because the one regime was decimated. Destroyed, they're all dead. The next regime is mostly dead. And the third regime, we're dealing with different people than anybody's dealt with before. It's a whole different group of people. The Iranian people are paying an enormous price. But despite the claims of some naïve politicians, they are victims of the Islamic Republic’s warmongering policies—not of any foreign government. For 47 years, the terrorist regime of the Islamic Republic has spent the Iranian people’s oil and gas wealth on Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis in Yemen, ballistic missiles, its nuclear weapons program, and other terrorist activities, instead of investing in the prosperity and well-being of the Iranian people. Economic sanctions cripple this regime. The regime has never used the nation’s oil revenues for the benefit of its people, and it never will. Terrorism is expensive, and every additional source of revenue strengthens its machinery of repression and aggression. Anyone who believes that lifting or easing sanctions benefits the Iranian people should understand that sending more money to the Ayatollahs only provides them with more resources to oppress their own people, finance terrorism, and threaten the free world. The only lasting solution is to confront this regime until it is overthrown. The regime occupying Iran does not represent the Iranian nation. The Iranian people are pro-democracy and friends of the West. It is time for the West to stand with them and abandon the failed policy of aimless diplomacy.
