In August when a former Labour councillor was sentenced for sex offences against a child there was no mention of the party. See video clips. GLASGOW HOSPITALITY SECTOR. I LOVE Glasgow ❤️ If there was ever a time when Glasgow City Council should have a wake up call it is now. This is a heartfelt moment from James Mortimer ,’The’ original Mr Glasgow of the Hospitality and Entertainment sector. I have watched for years the mismanagement and the steady decline of this great city and it cannot be allowed to continue. The GCC administration talk about being pro SME business… Really? The Green Transport plan is a joke. The streets are filthy the listed buildings crumbling and rats everywhere. And that is before we even start on business rates. Who is actually going stand up and fix it NOW! I am tired listening to the fine words. The City is on it’s knees. Just ask the locals and tourists. Oh and taxi drivers who have to contend with the road mayhem everyday. It takes a tragic fire for the Scottish Government to announce a mere £10m for Union Street. This £10 M is welcome however being at the centre of regeneration and saving many listed buildings the £10 M will not crack a nut! Before the local council elections in May 2027 raise your voice in the 2026 Scottish Parliament Elections and vote for change NOW! Scotland is in decline as is the fabric of our great nation. Irish traveller says his community has kept horses on the lands in Clonmel for 36 years where a huge migrant centre is being built. He says local farmers had no problem with travellers minding their horses there and that they have rights to stay there. #WATCH | Delhi: On the India-EU FTA, Union Minister Piyush Goyal says, "I'd like to begin by congratulating 1.4 billion brothers and sisters in India. This visit is extraordinary. It goes far beyond a Free Trade Agreement. It goes far beyond the humongous potential that is being unlocked with the Free Trade Agreement. It is truly a statement of deep partnership and the strategic intent of the European Union and India coming together in a multitude of areas to strengthen our partnership, to work together for the shared prosperity and a better future for one third of humanity. It is a reflection that when 25% of global trade decides to strengthen the strategic partnership, including with the free trade agreement, it unlocks the doors to defence cooperation, greater investments, to cooperation in the field of innovation and science to further integration of financial markets.
