Footage of joint Russian-Iranian drills just two weeks ago, February 19, 2026. When Iran turned to Putin for help, it was refused, even though Russia called Iran an important ally and signed a strategic partnership agreement with it a year ago. Russia used Iran as a tool to put pressure on the West and destabilize the region: โ—พ๏ธ Iran supplied Russia with thousands of Shahed-136 attack drones and technology for their production on Russian territory under the name "Geran-2." โ—พ๏ธ Iran supplied Russia with short-range ballistic missiles. The total value of contracts for the supply of missiles and drones at the beginning of 2023 was estimated at $1.75-3 billion. โ—พ๏ธ In return, Russia supplied its own weapons to Iran, including air defense systems and aircraft, which, as we can see, did not help Tehran. โ—พ๏ธ Russia helped Iran develop its nuclear program to increase instability in the region and strengthen the "anti-Western coalition." โ—พ๏ธ Using its influence, Russia maintained its military bases in Syria and shared military expenses with Tehran. โ—พ๏ธ Iran, which has been under sanctions for decades, helped Russia circumvent sanctions: the development of the North-South Transport Corridor through Iran allowed Russia to export goods bypassing European ports. โ—พ๏ธ Iran helped Russia master methods of covert financial transactions and parallel imports. Russia's main objective now is destabilization in the region, prolonging the war, driving up oil prices, and diverting financial and military aid away from Ukraine. โ€ผ๏ธ It is likely that Russians helped Iran develop a plan for strikes against the Persian Gulf countries. It is only natural that Ukrainians are now being asked for help in defending against Iranian drones. Ukraine has unique experience in countering Shahed drones. And Ukraine knows very well what Russia is like, what methods it uses, and what its goals are. What finally needs to be understood about Russia is that it has never been a reliable partner! Its partnership is rhetorical. Russia pursues exclusively its own interests, setting up, deceiving, and abandoning its so-called allies and violating the terms of agreements and deals. Syria, Venezuela, and Iran are vivid examples of this. ๐Ÿ“น: Russia-Iran drills/Radio Liberty

๐ŸšจVictor Gao: China๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ is NOT supplying weapons to Iran, Iran is on its way to SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDING itself against the US๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ and Israel โ€˜China calls for an immediate end to this war, and China applauds and very much is opposed to a war of aggression. Chinaโ€™s support to Iran has been unequivocal, very explicit. And this is the reason why Iran has been expressing thanks to the very strong and consistent Chinese support. China, I think, believes Iran still has enough wherewithal to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity. And I donโ€™t think there has been any specific request from Iran for Chinese military help. And this is the reality. So Iโ€™m firmly opposed to any allegation that China is supplying weapons to Iran. Iran is fully capable of defending itself because it keeps demonstrating and surprising many countries by the kind of weapons, either drones or missiles, or even missiles with a range of up to 4000 kilometres and all kinds of warheads that they can carry. And I think Iran is on its way to successfully defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity, regardless of the massive amount of losses, including loss of life, that the United States and Israel have inflicted on Iran. Iran has not requested for any military aid from China, and China does not supply weapons to a country at war.โ€™ -Victor Gao, President of the Center for China and Globalisation, on the latest episode of Going Underground Watch the full interview in the quoted post below๐Ÿ‘‡

"THE UNITED STATES HAS NO AIRCRAFT CARRIERS IN THE MIDDLE EAST" Most people believe that the U.S. cannot launch an attack on Iran unless it has at least one aircraft carrier in the Middle East. The U.S. usually has two aircraft carriers in place when a military intervention is launched. One of the aircraft carriers acts as a backup. That is the normal procedure. I think the military doctrine is changing. Aircraft carriers are vulnerable and I have previously written that if a conflict between the U.S. and Iran starts, the US will have its aircraft carriers at a safe distance. The issue extends beyond just Iran and the U.S.; it is also significantly related to the anticipated conflict between China and Taiwan. In my opinion, the U.S. does not wish to grant China any benefits in light of that conflict. A significant issue for the U.S. is that lacking aircraft carriers in a region at the onset of a conflict results in a loss of combat capability. This includes the ability to conduct sustained high-tempo air operations with numerous daily sorties. Without these carriers, you also miss out on integrated air defense suppression and electronic warfare in contested airspace. If the U.S. conducts strikes on Iran without the involvement of aircraft carriers, it suggests that it is assessing its military strength without these assets. This could be seen as a precursor to a confrontation with China..........

Seyed Mohammad Marandi replies to question about Russia and China's involvement in Iran. Glenn Diesen: "The American media as well as the European is full of accusations that Russia could be assisting Iran with intelligence with possible targeting. What do we know actually about China and Russia being involved?" Mohammad Marandi: "I don't know the details, but what I do know is that the Chinese and the Russians and the Iranians have moved closer to each other. This has been ongoing for years, but after the 12-day war, they've moved even closer. Iran has 15 neighbors. It's a large country. All the transit routes really have to go through Iran in Asia that would connect West Asia and East Asia, and the the Persian Gulf to to Europe and the Caucuses and Central Asia. So, the ability for Iran to receive weapons or anything that would help with the war is there. It could be done through its eastern borders. It can be done through its northern borders and there would be nothing that the United States could do about it. And the Chinese and the Russians can easily use these routes to trade with Iran, for Iran to send what what Iran purchases. I think it's clear as day that the the Russians do not want the United States to succeed in West Asia, and the Chinese obviously don't want it either. ...Zionist expansionism would basically mean further empowerment for the Trump regime and the United States, and they would have control over all the oil that are no longer leaving the Persian Gulf as we speak, but they would have control over everything and that would put China in a very very dangerous situation. More than dangerous. So, I think it's only natural to assume that the Chinese and the Russians are going to cooperate with Iran more. What the United States has done is that it has cemented the relationship between Russia, Iran and China for the years to come. They cemented it."

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธIran Isn't the Enemy - It's the Battlefield in a U.S.-China Proxy War: President Donald Trump announced that U.S. forces intercepted an Iranian-flagged cargo ship, the M/V Touska, which was allegedly carrying what he described as โ€œgifts from Chinaโ€ intended to restock Iranโ€™s military. Trump appeared surprised by the contents of the Chinese cargo bound for Iran. It seems he believed he had an understanding with Chinese President Xi Jinping that China would not supply weapons or military-related materials to Iran. While Trump referred to the shipment as โ€œgiftsโ€ from China, the cargo is likely composed of dual-use items that could support Iranโ€™s weapons programs, missile production, or broader military sustainment. Many observers are now asking why China would send such components to Iran at this time. Doesnโ€™t Beijing want the conflict to end? The answer is yes - but only on its own terms. China wants the fighting to stop provided the current Iranian regime remains in power. A significantly weakened Iran would not serve Chinese interests. Iran serves as a strategic node in Chinaโ€™s Belt and Road Initiative and acts as an important counterweight to U.S. influence in the Middle East and South Asia. In my view, the conflict has evolved into a proxy war between the United States and China.

Is there a risk that Trump is merely pressuring Cuba? No. A landslide victory in Cuba holds political value for Trump capable of overriding the fiasco in Iran. Cuba is a communist island about 100km from American territory, a symbol of a decades-long dispute, and a country that confronted the U.S. by financing and arming revolutionary groups in several Latin american countries for many years. A successful invasion of Cuba would end this cycle, giving Trump something his predecessors were unable to achieve. Trump needs this and will carry out the military operation. More than that, it is a card that no one considered at a time when Trump was seen as defeated, without any chance in the elections. Cuba can provide oxygen and a victory narrative for Donald Trump, giving him new life in the midterm elections. Even with further mistakes in a new Iranian operation, closing the cycle of interventions with a victory in Cuba brings a major prize for Trump. The $100 million in aid provided by Trump is part of a plan he is working on to ensure less hostility during a military action. It is not just about reading the military apparatus and the drone and aircraft flights around Cuba that have become routine, but about an entire political juncture that is now connected to this movement. This is what distinguishes geopolitical analysis from mere military analysis. How will the Democrats handle this? Is there power to prevent an action in Cuba? That is the point today.
