This is the history that should be taught in African schools, not the distorted narratives of colonizers that are sadly still in use today. It’s a shame that some African countries continue to educate their children using colonial era curriculums!

Congo is the Richest land on the planet. Congo is filled with Mineral resources. You can pick up any mineral from the soil in Congo. Congo has the capacity to supply the whole of Africa with constant Electricity through the Congo River. The Congo can feed the whole of Africa. Since the arrival of Leopold in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the people have been suffering immensely through overexploitation, with over 10 million being killed via his policies and after Colonialism the people now experience neocolonialism and imperialism based on the fact that every one wants Congo’s natural and mineral resources especially cobalt and coltan use in production of batteries for phone accessories etc. Today, despite being endowed with rich natural resources, the DRC is the second-poorest country in the world and the poorest in Africa.
