Just talking about this movie and the book earlier today, bc I’ve always been such a fan. Too funny I end up seeing it here later on.

The setup alone is enough to hook you. The Ruins turns an ancient temple into a relentless nightmare and keeps the tension high from start to finish.

I won’t forget this film, the scene where the vines are crawling in the girls head still freaks me out

Curiosity is exactly what got them trapped in the first place.

A novel concept, but it doesn't stand up to much scrutiny. The plant spreads via contact spores, but no bird, insect, or storm ever spread the spores? No way. That stuff would spread like wildfire.
