Founders Fund came about in 2005 with the purpose of empowering founders to run their companies forever. A lot of people ask for a long time, ‘What’s your favorite company in the portfolio?’ And I was biased, but I thought objectively, SpaceX. Apple was founder-led for a very long time. Today marks Contemporary Martyrs Day in the Coptic Orthodox Church, and the 10th Anniversary of #The21 #LibyaMartyrs, a day of solemn remembrance while at the same time being a moment of recognition of their incredible strength, resilience, grace and witness, as well as their families’ remarkable ability to graciously forgive. All in all, and somewhat ironically and counterintuitively, an occasion for thanksgiving and celebration. Shachar Hirshberg and Dan Shiebler make offers to new hires within 48 hours of their first conversation. They’re building an AI-native security company, Artemis Security, that battles threats that move at machine speed (which, for AI-driven attacks, is often in seconds). So speed is naturally an important operating principle for them. They’ve assembled a team of 30 people in NYC in under seven months, which they’ve done by front-loading references, bringing candidates in for lunch with the full team, and managing most of the recruiting process directly themselves. Engineering velocity is often a hiring problem in this market, and these guys have figured out a system that lets their recruiting process move as fast as their product. Their engineers run multiple Claude Code instances simultaneously to ship features in parallel, nearly all of their code is AI-generated, and they’ve outrun their original product roadmap by seven months. But they still haven’t managed to find any candidates who use AI as heavily as the Artemis team does. That isn’t a dealbreaker for them, though — they’re only looking for people who want to learn, and they train everyone who joins to ship as fast as the founders do. Fresh off their $70M fundraise and launch out of stealth, I sat down with Shachar and Dan on In Depth to find out how they’re pulling all of this off. Today we honour 64 years since the proclamation of West Papua’s national identity on December 1st, 1961. This video captures a historic and emotional moment: the People of West Papua standing together with the ULMWP Provisional Government and the People’s Representative Council (PR PWP) in a united celebration across our land. From the capital Port Numbay to the mountains, valleys, islands, and coastlines of all seven regions of West Papua, our people raised their voices, their culture, and their spirit as one. On this Memorial Day we remember those who have given their lives in the service of this nation, and we hold in our hearts the families and loved ones they left behind. For those of us who wore the uniform in combat, this is a day where we remember our friends and comrades who made the ultimate sacrifice. We remember them as they were: sons and daughters, husbands and wives, mothers and fathers. And we rededicate ourselves to living good lives, not to waste the opportunity to live on they gave us with their sacrifice. The willingness of some young Americans to sign the dotted line and risk their futures for the good of the nation is a resource we must jealously guard. It cannot be abused and squandered by those in power for their own benefit. The best way to honor the dead is to make sure future generations are not sacrificed for no reason. Semper Fidelis.

This is not a time for partisan politics. It's a moment for collective resolve to ensure justice for those who lost their lives and for their grieving families by bringing the perpetrators to justice. Among the list of victims were: Shri Manjunath from Chikmagalur. Shri Bharat Bhushan from Bengaluru. I spoke to both the wives of the deceased, Pallavi and Sujata, this morning. They are at present safe, but they are worried about the future. I spoke to the KPCC, and the Cabinet has deputed Labour Minister Santosh Lad. He said that he met two members of the family and their children. He also met nearly 200 tourists from Karnataka there in various hotels and arranged flights to return to Bangalore. I have also requested J&K CM Umar Abdullah to make arrangements for those who are not in touch with their respective states. Yesterday night, I spoke to our Home Minister; he promised me that he will take care of all those people. I offer my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and their loved ones in the tragic incident. The summer season has started, and tourists have started visiting the region. Tourism is also the biggest source of income for Jammu and Kashmir. They are dependent on that income. But due to this attack, Shri Omar Abdullah has told me that this year the economy has collapsed. The Government of India is ruling there, as it's a Union Territory, still not declared as a state. So the response would be from the Government of India. In this moment, we are all one with the government. Together we have to fight.
