A number of you have asked about the mystery star prize, so here it is in all its glory ⬇️

Used to love this show, be great if they brought it back

It would be nice. The key to the show's success, in my opinion, was the chemistry between Jim and JV, trying to recreate that would be the problem.

But what was the mystery star prize?

Jimmy White was brilliant. Travesty he never won a world championship or 3

They need to bring this back I loved Big Break when I was younger & it beats must modern day game shows #snooker @JimDOfficial

Proper tv on a Saturday night, I couldn’t even tell you what’s on tv on a Saturday night these days

Pretty sure I even had the board game for this classic.

Great TV. My earliest TV memories, along with telly addicts, Noel’s house party etc. don’t make shows like this no more unfortunately. If they tried they’d just screw it up with box ticking presenters and no jokes or real people

Jimmy would have derived as much pleasure from that as a total clearance at the Crucible. Just loves to play.
