The aim is to encourage as many children as possible to enjoy free football via our Project 5000 initiative where all under 19’s have free entry to Sholing FC matches. Adults will also enjoy entry for just £5. Levi will be announcing many exciting opportunities in the coming weeks which we are all thrilled to be part of. Levi was equally excited about the new announcements “It’s hugely important to me to put something back into my local club and community and I can’t think of a better vehicle than Sholing FC to do this. The Levi Colwill Project will financially support Project 5000 and we will assist in many other exciting ventures during the season. My family has been a huge support to me in my football career to date and I’m delighted that we will all be on this new journey working together in this new phase of the club. Being on the Board and in the role of Community Ambassador with Matt Le Tissier for Project 5000, is also something I was very keen on. Us And Our People. 💙 The club has worked with Suffolk FA to offer all 115 registered grassroots youth football clubs in the county a grant to cover the cost of a full kit for one of their teams for the 2026/27 season. At the time of launch, more than 70 have accepted this offer with the process still open and more expected to follow. 👕 This represents a significant commitment from the club in support of the rich grassroots football scene in the county, and embodies the meaning behind the ‘Us And Our People’ mantra, which has become important to the club and signifies the connection between the players on the pitch and the community of Ipswich and Suffolk. 🏡

As a proud Angeleno, the fires that have devastated our county have been heart-breaking. I am so fortunate that while my own home in the Palisades was at risk and had some damage from the fires, I am safe. So many others cannot say the same, and my heart goes out to all of those who have been affected and are rebuilding their lives from ash. I wrote this poem, “Smoldering Dawn”, to process my own fears and prayers for us as we come together as a community to heal from this trauma. While we mourn what we have lost, we also give thanks to the first responders, firefighters and civilians who have fought so tirelessly to combat these fires and ensure the safety of so many. To honor them, I’m releasing this poem as a fundraiser for the California Fire Foundation, which is offering support and aid to firefighters families, as well as those who have been impacted by the fires. 💛 Give what you can, help who you can, stay safe, and this too we shall conquer.
