A Brazilian Billionaire buried a Rs 2 crore Bentley so that he could have a luxurious life after his death! The media criticized him and said he should have donated his Bentley instead. Then the Brazilian Billionaire replied, “You call me crazy for burying a Bentley, but all of you bury something way more valuable than a Bentley. Your organs!!” The billionaire did this stunt to promote organ donation in Brazil and organ donation awareness spread through the roof in Brazil. Unfortunately, India has one of the lowest organ donation rates in the world (0.52 per 10 lakh people), and every year lakhs of Indians die while waiting for organs. Just last week, I pledged to donate all my organs to the government after I die. I was surprised to see how simple the process of organ donation pledging is and it took me only 2 minutes to register. Today I’m launching India’s biggest ever organ donation movement called “Organ Donate Karega India”, where I want millions of people to join me in pledging their organs after death.
