Today the India FTA is signed. It will then go back to Parliament to pass into law. Unfortunately only NZFirst oppose this awful deal, so it’s likely to go ahead. In the last few years we have seen masses of industry close. A large part of this is our high electricity prices, partly because of the green scam, but also because we have a sector that the electricity & generators and sellers are one and the same meaning they can manipulate the prices for maximum return. Timber and paper mills have gone to the wall, WP & Shane Jones went to Cabinet to get government to help, however Act and National wouldn’t support it. Watties will close at the same time tariffs for all processed and frozen foods from India will be dropped. Our vegetable market is worth 1.1 Billion a year. That’s worth more than what the India FTA deal is expected to add to our economy. 90% of the veges kiwis consume are grown here. This is about to change. We will start eating a lot more food processed in India and other third world developing nations. Highly productive farm land around NZ is being turned into tickey tacky subdivisions favoured by new immigrants. National is devoted to net zero, and Luxon this week celebrated that our emissions have been the lowest on record, that’s even lower than during lockdown. Last year for the first time in NZ history residential users consumed more electricity than industry. NZ industry is dying and National, Act and Labour are all for it. Once this deal is signed not only will we see an uptick of Indian migrants, but also an exodus of NZ manufacturers to India. As part of the FTA agreement and the 35billion NZ investment into India that it commits us to, the NZ govt has now openly encourage NZ business to offshore to India and to hire Indian staff. Pain demands to be felt We brought Banban home around 2017. Papa was planning to pass her to one of his bowling buddies, but we begged, and somehow he smiled and said yes. She came with Lassy and Fudgie at first—those three tumbling through the house like they owned it. For weeks now we've been told: "Look, the reason this war failed is that there was no political solution to bring it to a close." Well—yesterday, a few minutes after the start of Shabbat, that solution arrived. And it is the best of our dreams: an agreement with the State of Lebanon. A framework that recognizes Israel's presence in the security zone for as long as Hezbollah exists, that calls for Hezbollah's disarmament, and in which Lebanon recognizes Israel's legitimacy, its sovereignty over the territories, and the end of rocket fire. Having said all that—let's see what it's actually worth. Both the grand principle, the one that says a military operation must always end with a decisive final blow, and the agreement itself. Because a quiet suspicion runs through all of us tonight: that even after this accord—coming forty-four years after another historic agreement with Lebanon—Hezbollah will not be laying down its arms. If anything, the opposite. So let us remember that the struggle in the Middle East is a long one. And in that long struggle, yesterday we took a real step forward—for the simplest of reasons: yet another Arab country, and one that matters to us, has in effect recognized the legitimacy of the State of Israel. All of it under the American umbrella—the very same United States that disappointed us so deeply only last week. Another step on a long road.

This is the state of American Healthcare “The doctors office refused to see my 5 month old because we didn't want to give her 6 vaccines” The office had 3 different doctors try to convince him and then refused his daughter as a patient “Today me and my wife took my 5 month old daughter to the doctor's office for a wellness visit, to get checked on and all that. Well, she was due for her vaccinations. Well, I'm not comfortable with giving my daughter vaccines, especially 6 of them. And even one of them had 3 vaccines in it. Like, what if she has a bad reaction? You know, I personally know a few people that their babies were perfectly healthy and then they got vaccinated and now they're in wheelchairs or they can't talk or something's wrong with them for the rest of their lives. — I didn't think it was a wise idea to give a little baby with a little mind like that multiple vaccinations. You know, it's just there's a chance that something could happen. — I just find it irresponsible to do it that way. So they didn't want to do that. I had 3 people try to talk me into it. Now I will say this, they were very respectful about it, but obviously they can't see us anymore. So this is a second doctor now that refuses to see my baby because we don't want to get the second round of vaccinations. We got the first round. And the crazy thing is, is one of them is the polio, which the polio is pretty much gone, eradicated, right? Second one is hepatitis. I don't think my daughter's going to be having or using drugs or needles anytime soon. Do you get what I'm saying… It just doesn't make any sense to me. But I just find it insane that they want to quit seeing my kid over that. I think that needs to change. And Donald Trump, if you see this video, will you please look into the vaccinations and change this policy that the doctors have? Because we all know doctors get some money from the insurance companies for, for doling out these vaccines and that's what it really comes down to. THE DESENSITIZED GENERATION — Immune To Novelty By AI Video Fatigue With just a few hours of testing OpenAI’s Sora2 Social Network for my clients and just finished a 218 page report, the thing I thought about for decades is upon us: Full Desensitization Of Visual Novelty I knew so many years ago, and one reason I have posted on the account so many novel images and videos that one day we will rapidly become immune to “oh damn, it’s over” images and video. As most of you know, my daughter Taryn moved back in with me after about 15 years with her grandparents. They took great care of her, but she was ready to come home to Mom, and I’m at a place in my life where I can provide the best care and resources for her, but it’s a process filled with lots of hoops and red tape. I took Taryn to the movies the other day and it started out great. We walked there, and she was so excited and happy. Throughout the movie she was holding my hand, giving me hugs, leaning her head on me, and I remember thinking, “wow, I am so happy and grateful. My life is perfect in this moment.” Then disaster struck out of nowhere. We were in the front left row, and a Dad with his little girl were in the right front row. The movie went quiet, and Taryn could hear the little girl chewing her popcorn. Taryn developed severe Misophonia, and it’s gotten progressively worse over the last couple years. The sound of chewing sets off her fight or flight instincts, and although she tries, she has the communication and emotional regulation capabilities of a two year old. I could see her getting visibly agitated, and tried to get her to leave, even offered to take her to Mc. Donald’s if we left, and told her we could come back and finish the movie another time. She said no, that she wanted to stay. She had been looking forward to the movie for weeks, and didn’t want to leave. The movie got quiet again, and out of nowhere she jumped up and ran over to the little girl and her Dad. She tried to attack them, but the dad stopped her and I was right behind her and grabbed her. She tried to go after them again, and I grabbed her and pulled her down to the floor. I was mortified, and the fact that we were in the front row in a theater full of people made it even worse. I apologized, helped Taryn up, and started pushing her up the aisle, toward the door. All the while, she’s screaming at the top of her lungs. When I walked out, the employee behind the counter gave me a sympathetic look and whispered “it’s ok.” Of course, we had walked… Taryn screamed the whole way home. When we got home, she lost her tablet and printing privileges, leading to her punching me and then hitting herself and biting herself repeatedly, and screaming for hours but the consequences stuck. I was overwhelmed, embarrassed, and generally overstimulated, but I kept calm and stayed even throughout the entire process, somehow. The next day, I woke up to someone sending me a screenshot from a post the father made. I instantly started crying. I am so grateful to live in a community with such amazing and understanding people. All of the comments passed the vibe check. I’m also so grateful they were so understanding and am happy to report that the little girl was unfazed. Taryn had a mental health assessment last week, and meets with a licensed clinician on Monday and a case manager the following week. The clinician will be able to help make a plan to get Taryn the best care she needs, and the Case Manager will help us put it into action. This is a hard transition for all of us, but I’m so grateful to have her home and to be able to get her the help and services she needs. She isn’t a bad kid. She’s actually really funny, really smart, and super talented. She just struggles with a lot of things we take for granted. A lady on TikTok posted a video on her page today, the first video. It shows her being awarded the Best Graduating Student at LOGIC Foundation Class by Pastor Flourish Peters. But the problem becomes apparent when you see the lifestyle of the girl. In the second video, she boasts about sexual activities. She talks about how she can engage in sexual acts for a sustained period of time. She boasts about engaging in oral sex licentiously. She boasts about how she relishes ingesting semen orally. She says she is “mischievous,” boastfully. But that is not all. She talks about other more depraved illicit acts she cherishingly engages in. For example, she describes someone she has designated an “Eater.” According to her, this person performs oral sex on her, and she in turn records the sounds she makes and shares these recordings with her “inner circle.” That is practically pornography. And that is apart from other licentious lifestyle practices like narrative pornography, nudity, etc. This person was awarded the Best Graduating Student of LOGIC Church’s foundational Bible program. Now, why are we making this post? God bears us witness, it is not primarily because of the girl, but because of the pastor. Right now, if this girl unfortunately dies, she will not be part of the kingdom of heaven. Why? The Bible denounces this sort of lifestyle. “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God.” — 1 Thess. 4:3–5 Then it says God’s judgment comes upon those who live in such sin: “The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before.”- 1 Thess. 2:16. If this lady dies today, her soul will wake up in God's eternal judgement in hell. Why would God judge those who engage in sexual immorality? It is because our bodies, as believers, are now the temple of God, and God will destroy anyone who destroys His temple: “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.” — 1 Cor. 3:16–17 Let God deal with Spiricoco, be it ever so severely, if we are not writing this with quaking fingers and tears lining our very eyes. He gave her an award, and told her only to stop sharing “those spicy content.” So, he knows about these vulgar corrupt communications from her. But his problem was not that she was doing sexually immoral things, but that she was sharing them. That was Flourish Peters’ concern. This is a major church in the heart of Lagos where many attend. Right now, the lady’s soul is in corruption and sin, and Flourish Peters, who was meant to deliver the washing word of truth, has not. If Flourish Peters really preached to her, she should have repented, turned back from these sinful life to the living God. Like the Ephesians burnt their spellbooks when Paul preached to them, this girl should have done the same if Peters really shared the gospel of life with her. But he obviously didn't share the whole counsel of God with her. Finally, we share this to show you the danger of hypergrace doctrine. In LOGIC Church, they preach that we don’t need to ask for forgiveness anymore. They preach the “once saved, forever saved” doctrine. This is the fruit of that doctrine. A grace that has been turned into licentiousness. There is no one who lives like that who will make heaven. Hypergrace is damnation, and LOGIC Church preaches it. This is the fruit. The time to talk about Flourish Peters is not here yet. He is not alone. The man from whom all these doctrines originate was the subject of discussion on Christian Twitter all of last week. But we have said this to warn you: to know the wolves in your midst. To beware of false preachers, the apostles of Satan. To be diligent with the Word, and fervent in prayers that you may guard against temptation. To keep your garments clean, and to live circumspectly in this world. Pressing, transitions and goals in Canada! After the hiring of Jesse Marsch this week by Canada Soccer , there has been lots of talk about pressing and transitions in the football community. This is THE style of play that we have used for the last 5 years with Alliance United FC in @L1OMens and will give you some insight in how this can look. We went away from the 'possession' based 1-4-3-3 that everyone has been using as the 'best way' to develop players and win games. Many say this is the 'right way' of playing. However, we use the players' abilities and inabilities as the starting point and based on players produced in Canada, within our youth system, this is the way we think will get us the best results and help our players get to the next level. You need to understand youth development in our country to understand what is and what is not being taught to young players. This is not a negative outlook, it is just looking at the reality. Many mistake this style of play as just non-stop pressing and chaos. Yes, these two aspects are important but it is a much more deliberate and planned way of playing that is used to predict where the opposition will play the ball, where the ball can be dictated and what areas the opposition leave open for transitions when they attack. In 2019, I was introduced to Ernst Tanner former Academy Director of Red Bull Salzburg and current Philadelphia Union Sporting Director that has led the club to being one of the top clubs in MLS and arguably the best academies in North America the last few years. Both organisations are known for their pressing and fast transitions in addition to producing top players. He became a mentor to me and gave me insights and education on this style of play. He has changed the way I look at football. Every season we try to recruit players that can play this style that I will describe below and we do not waiver in the way we played. Every game since 2019 Alliance United FC have played either in a 1-4-2-2-2 or a 1-4-4-2 midfield diamond....every game. We have no secrets in how we play. We focus on defending, pressing, forcing teams into mistakes and transition football. It is important to understand that we do not care how much possession we have and we actually want the opposition to have the ball most of the time. Stats in football show that only when a team has the ball 70% or more in a match their is a correlation to winning. Anything less is not correlated to winning in a certain match. In addition, 80% of goals are scored under 5 passes or less and under 10 seconds when regaining possession. We follow the trend! So, here are some important points based on the video: a) Pressing higher up the pitch when possible. All 11 players are committed to the team intention (principles) and if anybody is not committed and does not contribute to this style of play, they do not play. There is no leeway on this. Either you are in 100% in or you are not. All it takes is one player to not commit and the plan will not work. If we do not win the ball on the high press, everyone is to drop behind the ball as fast as possible to restart the press closer to our goal. b) Based on the opponent's scouting we press certain players and decide if will press closer to the sideline and 'pin' the player to the sideline or we dictate the passes and dribbles centrally and 'surround' the player to win the ball in central positions. We also decide if we will sometimes drop lower for the opposition to advance so we can play behind them when winning the ball. This is done if we scout that the opposition centre-backs are slower than our two strikers. This means we will 'outrun' them in the space they leave behind. c) When winning the ball we want to exploit space behind their backline as the priority which means that a player(s) need to be passing options behind the backline and preferably centrally which is closer to the goal, players winning the ball has to look to play the ball to the player furthest up the pitch. Possession is not a priority but scoring goals as fast as possible is. d) When winning the ball we stay as central as possible with passes and dribbling. We use the width of the penalty area (44 yards) as the preferable dimension when transitioning. We want to stay within this width. The wider the team plays the ball, the more time the opposition has to block the middle. PLAY AS VERTICALLY AS POSSIBLE! The emphasis is to get the ball to the two strikers and play 1v1 against the CBs. e) We know that most youth players grow up playing against a 1-4-3-3 which means there is one central striker meaning the centre-backs one back press and one can cover. Against 2 strikers this is not possible and many centre-backs do not have the ability to play 1v1 with space behind them. They are not taught the cues to step and press or drop to protect space behind them. They are never taught at youth level. We exploit this deficiency. e) All 11 players must get up the pitch to close the spaces if we lose the ball from our attacking transition so the opposition cannot transition against us and we can counter-press. f) A goal is the best outcome based on the objective of attacking but at the minimum we want to get a shot on goal from a transition. This is a quick overview of a different way of playing football that Canada will see with the Men's National Team.

We spent the last 9-10 years strengthening our relationship which if u know our history that is Gods work. But the last 4-5 years were really special because we started to talk, at least once a month. Then eventually once a week then 2-3 times a week. U would send me beautiful photos of yourself and an update of ur garden which had become your life. The flowers and crop u planted would come along nicely except some times those damn peonies. 😩🤦‍♀️ Everyone who was close to u called u Meema but I called u mommy like a second mom. Which is why slide 11 is very special to me because that was the day u showed me ur phone and u said “look what I have u saved as,“ I said, “what?” U said, “daughter“ I smiled so big it warmed my heart and u began to call me daughter all the time after that. Our conversations got more intense, u kept saying we need to spend time in person. U wanted me to come to the house, I couldn’t wait to do that, especially since it’s been awhile since I’ve been there. I had plans to come around Christmas but u were going to Jamaica to see your mom, so I said I will come when U got back after the new year some time. Once 2025 came in we began to talk again but by this time u were calling me a lot saying we have to see each other and “ur the only one I haven’t seen yet.“ It was odd to me that she said that, almost as if she had something to tell me. Smh, I kept saying I’m coming mommy. The plan was to spend time with her after my show in Atlantic City since she was only a couple of hours away, but that day will never come. This hits different because there’s no hurt and sadness like the hurt and sadness when u crave conversation from someone who is no longer here. 💔 I’m smiling to myself because I can hear u saying “MY GOD CHRISTOPHER!! ** MEGA Parodius Scaling Effects Part 1 ** One of the big challenges with the Parodius Megadrive port is Stage 8's boss - The puffer-fish *Pooyan* with his full screen scaling effect. The goal is to be very close to the arcade (with extras on top ) so I thought lets tackle it head on to see how close we can get. I was also keen to jump into another scaling code rabit hole haha. Pyron pulled out all the stops and got me the source frames and reworked the BG tiles for this test - a big thankyou to him , Vector Orbitex is busy working on Stage 2 tracks so the team is working hard all round on this port. The MD has no sprite / background GFX scaling hardware , however the VDPs Vertical scroll can be updated per scanline to help vertical scaling on backgrounds, but there is a cpu cost to manage all the interupts so thats not free either. With the Horizontal scaling there is no help at all , apart from a semi-friendly packed pixel format for the cpu to work with, its not quite chunky format but better than planar format still for scaling. So its falls back to the 68k CPU to do all of the horizontal expansion which is the largest cpu cost. Basically drawing strips of either 1x, 2x, 3x or 4x wide columns at speed. So we are one week into this Boss's routine and you can see from the below video the horizontal scaling is implented ( vertical will be in the next update ) . We are scaling from 1x to 4x in the video below in 74 steps for testing . The column distributions are always a bit painfull to do - thankfully they are all worked out now. This is the third scaler I have built and the goal was with this one to make it really flexible for use in other projects also, sometimes when you optimise something to the last degree all the flexibility gets taken out of it. Currenty scaling at 12-25 FPS update here, I had some rules against some optimisations which I would use and some I wouldn't , thankfully we are a bit ahead of the Arcades animation frame rate here still and I may yet find optimisations that fit within the scope. We have vertical scaling and sprite spikes to add yet so Im hoping i can find a few more optimisations to offset things when they are implemented also. In a scale frame update we are processing close to 42000 pixels in ram before using DMA to send to VRAM . Using a 41x16 (656 tile scale buffer) - single buffered for now due to its size in VRAM. So thats nearly 21k in tiles ! I had to re-organise ram a bit to support a buffer of that size for the stage. The scaling function is written in 68k assembly , with a little C code handling the Vertical interupt code ( so the game logic can actually run & DMA updates etc ) . The DMA routines are in assembly also and customised for large chunk size ( big blocks of tiles ) which suits the scaler. I had some race conditions to sort out where the cpu was faster than DMA (sending tiles from RAM to VRAM ) and in some cases where it wasn't so it had to be balanced. So its falls back to the 68k CPU to do all of the horizontal expansion which is the largest cpu cost. Basically drawing strips of either 1x, 2x, 3x or 4x wide columns at speed. So we are one week into this Boss's routine and you can see from the below video the horizontal scaling is implented ( vertical will be in the next update ) . We are scaling from 1x to 4x in the video below in 74 steps for testing . The column distributions are always a bit painfull to do - thankfully they are all worked out now. This is the third scaler I have built and the goal was with this one to make it really flexible for use in other projects also, sometimes when you optimise something to the last degree all the flexibility gets taken out of it. Currenty scaling at 12-25 FPS update here, I had some rules against some optimisations which I would use and some I wouldn't , thankfully we are a bit ahead of the Arcades animation frame rate here still and I may yet find optimisations that fit within the scope. We have vertical scaling and sprite spikes to add yet so Im hoping i can find a few more optimisations to offset things when they are implemented also. In a scale frame update we are processing close to 42000 pixels in ram before using DMA to send to VRAM . Using a 41x16 (656 tile scale buffer) - single buffered for now due to its size in VRAM. So thats nearly 21k in tiles ! I had to re-organise ram a bit to support a buffer of that size for the stage. The scaling function is written in 68k assembly , with a little C code handling the Vertical interupt code ( so the game logic can actually run & DMA updates etc ) . The DMA routines are in assembly also and customised for large chunk size ( big blocks of tiles ) which suits the scaler. I had some race conditions to sort out where the cpu was faster than DMA (sending tiles from RAM to VRAM ) and in some cases where it wasn't so it had to be balanced. We may be able to add more detail into the top and bottom of the background yet but its low priority for now until all the other bits are in !! #SGDK #SegaMegadrive #Genesis #Parodius
