Reports are that the pro-Palestinian protest is going ahead in Sydney today despite the police imploring them not to break the law & march - & cause further trauma to our Jewish community. If they do protest they should be arrested & charged & finally face consequences that should have started at the horrendous, sickening anti-Semitic protest on October 9 at the Opera House. January 1st in 1953, at the age of 29, Hank Williams took his final ride going through the Heart of Appalachia. He performed, what would be his final show, at the Elite Cafe in Montgomery on December 28th. He was supposed to play a show in Charleston, WV but canceled due to the weather. Williams paid a college student named Charles Carr to drive him, and they set sail for Canton, Ohio. They made a stop in Knoxville to get a room, and to see a doctor for the ailing Williams. The doctor gave Williams two B12 shots with morphine, before getting a call that night telling them they had to continue on and make the New Years Day show in Canton. They stopped in Bristol for a quick bite, where Williams declined to eat, and that is where he spoke his last words. There’s a local legend in Tazewell County, VA that Hank may have taken his last breath there. They stopped at a service station in Claypool Hill, VA off Route 19/460, and Hank was asleep in the back of the vehicle, but alive. About two hours into West Virginia they stopped in Oak Hill at the Skyline Drive-in (known as “Hanks last stop” to locals, and still open), where they found him dead. Did he take his last breath in Tazewell County, VA? Who knows?

🚨SHARE EVERYWHERE🚨 17-year-old girl CHASED by group of AFGHANS through field Shared from Facebook⬇️ Afghan refugee camp Queensway (Old Dalby, Melton Mowbray ) Please be vigilant when out walking in the old dalby area for these men We could see these three men across the fields walking spread out and hiding (crouching down) behind the hedge rows near Queensway from our window last night at around 7pm and thought what on earth are they up to After a while we decided to jump in the car and go and see if everything was ok as something didn’t seem right As we were driving towards the field entrance a young girl appeared running and in tears from a tall maize crop near to where the three men had been seen The girl was so frightened she was afraid to approach the car We asked if everything was ok and she said three men had been chasing here while she had been out walking My female friend got out straight away and stayed with the 17 year old girl and I drove quickly towards where we’d seen the three men previously near to the maize crop at the other end of the field They saw me coming and began to run, I chased them, caught up with them and they were acting very suspiciously and saying they were just out walking but seemed very distressed as if they had been caught up to no good. The Police have been informed and I would advise women and girls not to walk near the mod camp at old dalby alone

This is such a great explanation of what we witnessed last evening. ⬇️ My closing gnite post was stated simply as "Absolutely beautiful, thank you Kid Rock for standing in a place between "what was" and "what will be" a new beginning. Bringing us closer to our Father one person at a time! " As I knew and felt I was witnessing a testimony of his transition, but was so moved by it and needed to ponder what I felt; that I didn't quite know how to express it as eloquently as this👇 "If you watched the Kid Rock show last night, did you notice the symbolism of the journey of his music and life. He was introduced as Kid Rock and bound on to the stage with his first big hit Bawidaba full of raunchy lyrics and everything Kid Rock personifies, then the curtain closed and there was the cellist and violinist alone playing very beautiful actually soul touching music and then he was re-introduced as Robert Ritchie and he sang about second chances and making the most of the situation and lastly about Jesus. It’s was a performative rebirth of sorts. Nothing in his show or lyrics or imagery was political…it was a testimonial." As online exploitation grew with the release of the iPhone, they began praying for a way to reach victims digitally. In 2018, they discovered a Microsoft-developed technology at a “Tech Against Trafficking” event that could identify people being advertised for sexual services online. The software scans websites where illicit services are posted, gathers publicly available contact information, and allows nonprofits to send text messages offering help, prayer, and resources. Their organization became the first customer in 2019, reaching 18,000 individuals in the first year. Over time, the program expanded to nine cities across the United States. Eventually, the organization raised funds in three weeks to purchase and operate the software themselves. Today, the technology is their largest outreach program, helping them contact people potentially experiencing exploitation, trafficking, or involvement in the pornography industry. In the most recent year, they reached about 120,000 individuals. A woman received one of their texts asking if she needed prayer or resources. She responded asking if the message was real and revealed she had almost committed suicide the night before, praying that God would send a sign. Within two hours, she was sitting in their offices. Her story revealed severe trauma: she had been sex trafficked at 14, forced into an abortion at 16, trafficked around the country, became addicted to drugs, and was eventually abandoned by her trafficker and left homeless. I didn’t talk about this properly last night because after Joss posted all of that, my mind just went completely blank. So, let me put it into words today. Joss’s birthday caption for Gawin hit me differently. I could feel something special in the way he wrote it. The line “no cake, no gifts” stood out, because we all know he was the one who brought the cake to Gawin at the birthday event, and then gave him the Van Cleef bracelet the day after. I feel the reason why they spent time with their friends and gave the gift early was so that the two of them could spend Gawin’s actual birthday together. And yes, I’m going to assume the photo Joss posted is recent. And then there’s “just conversation about the future, goals, and dreams” I know he deeply supports Gawin’s dreams and always will. And I remember how Joss has always said there’s no need to “hope” as if he believes so strongly in himself and in what they want, that he knows they’ll get there. I don’t know what the future holds for them, their journey is still long, but I hope their final destination is the same. I’m not usually someone who writes this much here, but I just needed to pour out what’s in my heart. I don’t want to place too much expectation on them, anything can happen, so I’ll leave it to the universe. Still, I’ll support them as best as I can, without pushing myself too hard. My wish? That Joss and Gawin can be together for a very, very long time. And thank you, Joss and Gawin, because of you, I’ve met such kind and wonderful people in this fandom 💜❤️

8 years ago, my Dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon cancer and last night he gave me the surprise of a lifetime that will go down as one of my most cherished memories on #HockeyFightsCancer night 💜 To those battling cancer, You are not alone. To those who know someone in a battle, reach out to them as they embark on life’s hardest fight; a text, a call, or a letter can make the biggest difference, even though it may seem small. My Dad is living proof that love, positivity, and support give us all the best chance to eradicate cancer. Thank you to the entire Utah Mammoth organization and the NHL for making this possible, it’s a moment that we as a family will never forget. There’s no one in this world I’m more proud of than my Dad, as he continues to be a beacon of hope that one day we can all say, “Hockey Beats Cancer” 💜

PROOF the YouTube algorithm is killing my channel. Please share and retweet because I really need a response from YouTube and to get someone to look into this. TeamYouTube please I NEED you to explain WHY my videos are getting suppressed as shown in this video. The algorithm promotes other videos that bring in fewer views for the impressions they get than many of my videos. My audience wants to watch my content but you are not letting them know it's there. Can you PLEASE look into my channel, SHADIVERSITY, and check why it's getting downranked so much that our impressions are the worst they've been in SIX YEARS in spite of having this year higher click-through rates, impressions conversions, interaction and watch time? I've been teaching 100,000 fake students for 2 weeks. and used them to build the best AP prep system in the world. I took Qwen 3 8B models and gave them simulated human memory. Now every night thousands of simulated students start with zero knowledge of the social sciences. Their only training is our adaptive curriculum. They work through it, then take a full AP (advanced placement) practice exam. The first batch averaged a 3 on their exam. (~45th percentile) Then the agents looked at where they failed, and improved the algorithm. Again, and again, and again. Two weeks later, the average is 4.43 (~80th percentile) This is such an insane number because the curriculum they worked through is ONLY basic knowledge and comprehension. They were never taught how to build an argument, contextualize evidence, or even shown the exam rubric. ...And yet they're averaging 80th percentile on an exam that requires all of it. Basically built a machine learning feedback loop for edtech. Spoke about this at ClawCon & SXSW last week. This is just the beginning.

In the Fall of 1990, Nintendo Power held a contest for players to send in a photo of them finding WarMech, a very rare enemy found deep into Final Fantasy. While it's never been officially verified, there's some strong evidence that the winner of that contest was Chris Houlihan, and the prize was to get your name featured in a future Nintendo game. He was mentioned in one subsequent issue from 1998 as a contest winner in '92, Zelda's North American release year. As I'm learning while writing this, there's evidence that the winner was actually Chris's dad, immortalizing his son's name in one of the most unique video game stories out there. Kevin Hainline on YouTube posted a video with some fascinating insight and perspective on the story. ( In short, it seems that Chris was also named in the 1991 Game Boy version of Nintendo World Cup Soccer, where Terry was benched from the U.S. team in favor of the contest winner. The timing lines up really well. As for why his name is only found in the failsafe room in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, it probably lies with just the nature of game production. They clearly missed a deadline since they never gave Houlihan the later highlight that seemed to be the standard for the Power contests. Also if Kevin's story holds water, they were rightfully not happy with simply naming a team member "Chris" in a handheld title. So it actually makes sense his name gets put into this room. It's probably the highest caliber game they could add him to, in one of the only places the devs could reasonably put him. They had to have known some players would eventually find it, and it would be a mystery. I just wonder if anyone involved knew just how wonderfully complex and interesting it would be. The poetic thing is if everything I learned today is real, "Chris" appeared on the Game Boy, then appeared with his full name in the legendary SNES room, and now is book-ended with just "Houlihan" in Cadence of Hyrule on the Switch. A fascinating legacy spanning nearly three decades and consoles. #RetroGaming

The brazenness of the Russians keeps growing – they are attacking Ukraine more and more often in broad daylight with dozens of strike drones. Last night there were 150 drones; this morning over fifty more; in the evening dozens more, and most of them were “shaheds.” In fact, swarms of Russian drones in our skies serve as an accompaniment to Russia’s statements from China. An open disregard by Russia for everything the world is doing to stop this war. Yesterday, the Russians literally denied what President Trump said about the leaders’ meeting that is needed to end the war. These days in China, Putin keeps spinning his tales – as if he is not responsible for the war. As if someone always “forces” him – to fight, to kill, to drive children into shelters, to send thousands of people to storm our positions. And now we see another buildup of Russian forces in some sectors of the front. The only thing he refuses to be “forced” into is peace. Russia continues to launch strikes. Of course, we will respond, including asymmetrically as well – so that Russia truly feels the consequences of its audacity. And we continue working with our partners to put pressure on Russia – and that will happen.

In 1962, Dr. George S. Benson gave a speech laying out exactly how the communist cold war strategy worked... not through military invasion, but through patient, methodical erosion. Blame capitalism for every social ill. Alienate workers from employers. Infiltrate organizations you didn't build and quietly steer them. Discredit and smear anyone who calls it out loudly enough to matter. Use the language of peace, fairness, and equality as a vehicle for something else entirely. What's striking when you listen to it today is how familiar it sounds. We've spent the last decade watching institutions... universities, media organizations, corporations, even the military... get pulled in directions that would have seemed unthinkable a generation ago, often from within, often by people who rose through the ranks by appearing to be the most dedicated, most passionate, most committed person in the room. Benson said in 1962 that the communists knew they couldn't win outright... they needed time, division, and a population too demoralized or distracted to resist. Look around and ask yourself honestly whether that condition has been achieved, and if so, how we got here.

#ICYMI - my report from last night detailed the chaotic moments of confusion and uncertainty for people as they rushed to safety Saturday afternoon during the NCA All Star Cheer Championship competition at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center. Dallas Police confirm no shooting happened, it was the result of a fight between two people that caused multiple poles to get knocked down and the loud noises caused the panic and rush of people. Multiple people were hurt in the chaos but their injuries are non-life threatening. No arrests have been made and police did not share if anyone was detained during the incident.
