Yesterday ex-Bungie exec Martin O’Donnell who successfully sued #Bungie for unpaid wages and stock ownership, did an interview with Act Man about Bungie's recent woes. He implied Bungie CEO Pete Parsons and the #Microsoft corporate ethos and management style he comes from, was to blame. Martin expands on how Pete Parsons hasn't been at Bungie for decades, and was originally a Microsoft Marketing Executive who was brought in as Studio Manager for Bungie, but left during Bungie's negotiations for independence away from Microsoft. He was not involved in any of Halo 3's production. Unbeknownst to Martin, Pete didn't actually leave the company when he left, instead went back to an executive role at Microsoft. Pete Parsons was brought back in as Marketing Head in an exec role at Bungie around 2009. Over the coming years other executives got fired while Pete eventually went on to assume the top CEO role at Bungie in 2016, just before the release of Destiny 2. Maxwell woke up with a pep in his step — because friends Kerrio and Taroha were coming to visit! Max is our resident blind black rhino. He is also the most popular member of our Nursery herd. He doesn’t join the orphaned elephants out in the forest for a number of reasons — black rhinos are very territorial by nature, and because Max is blind, he has his own, expansive stockade to call home — but visitors are always welcome at his door. Most mornings, the orphaned elephants make a point to stop by Maxwell’s gate as they head into the forest. They share a lovely hello, then go about their respective days. Meet Max and support him through an adoption:
