Yesterday ex-Bungie exec Martin O’Donnell who successfully sued #Bungie for unpaid wages and stock ownership, did an interview with Act Man about Bungie's recent woes. He implied Bungie CEO Pete Parsons and the #Microsoft corporate ethos and management style he comes from, was to blame. There were similar staff retention and shares vestment schemes as part of #Sony's acquisition of Bungie, so both would have likely saved money in a similar way with recent layoffs. Martin expands on how Pete Parsons hasn't been at Bungie for decades, and was originally a Microsoft Marketing Executive who was brought in as Studio Manager for Bungie, but left during Bungie's negotiations for independence away from Microsoft. He was not involved in any of Halo 3's production. Unbeknownst to Martin, Pete didn't actually leave the company when he left, instead went back to an executive role at Microsoft. Pete Parsons was brought back in as Marketing Head in an exec role at Bungie around 2009. Over the coming years other executives got fired while Pete eventually went on to assume the top CEO role at Bungie in 2016, just before the release of Destiny 2. If you're interested in Tesla Robotaxi, Tesla AI or Tesla FSD, then you ought to know about jimmah . He's probably the one person who's done the deepest public dives on Tesla FSD and Tesla AI over the years. In fact, over the past 4 years I've published 40+ videos (!) with James Douma on Tesla AI/FSD (they are all on a playlist on my YouTube channel). I first discovered James Douma a long time ago (maybe almost 8-10 years ago?) on a web forum called . Back then it was one of the only places for early Tesla owners and TSLA investors to discuss issues deeply. While I posted about investing topics, James posted about Tesla Autopilot and its hardware but in a way that was more thorough than anybody else. When I started posting YouTube videos years later, I invited him on my channel to hear his thoughts on Tesla Autopilot/FSD. It was a riveting discussion and I was surprised at how much I could learn from him. I invited him again for another interview on my channel, and once again I was floored by how much I was learning. So over the years, James has been a great resource for me (and many others) to keep pulse on what Tesla is doing with FSD and AI (and even robotics). He doesn't have his own YouTube channel. “Ryuichi Sakamoto & Tin Drum | KAGAMI+” Makes Its Japan Premiere KAGAMI+, a work that captures Ryuichi Sakamoto’s piano performance in three dimensions and reconstructs it in a mixed reality (MR) space, arrives in Japan for the first time. The exhibition runs from June 27 to October 12, 2026, at VS., a cultural a cultural apparatus in Umekita, Osaka. Tickets are now on sale, and the full programme for the long-awaited Japan premiere has been announced. KAGAMI was conceived and developed over the final four years of Sakamoto’s life in collaboration with Todd Eckert and the creative studio Tin Drum. Since its world premiere at The Shed in 2023, the work has been presented internationally in cities including London, Manchester, Taipei, Singapore, Melbourne, Pesaro, and Hong Kong, receiving wide acclaim. Wearing optically transparent headsets, audiences encounter an authentic representation of Sakamoto at the grand piano, realized through a unique form of dimensional photographic capture. His performance at the grand piano emerges within the space alongside ethereal visuals that respond to the music, allowing audiences to experience the performance at a proximity not possible in a conventional concert setting. The experience extends beyond sound and image. Video, photography, and text are integrated throughout the space, alongside a natural scent personally blended by Sakamoto, creating a multilayered sensory environment. The work has been described by The Guardian as “a magical experience.” For its Japan presentation, an expanded version of the work, KAGAMI+, created specifically for this exhibition, will be unveiled. “Ryuichi Sakamoto & Tin Drum | KAGAMI+” Makes Its Japan Premiere KAGAMI+, a work that captures Ryuichi Sakamoto’s piano performance in three dimensions and reconstructs it in a mixed reality (MR) space, arrives in Japan for the first time. The exhibition runs from June 27 to October 12, 2026, at VS., a cultural a cultural apparatus in Umekita, Osaka. Tickets are now on sale, and the full programme for the long-awaited Japan premiere has been announced. KAGAMI was conceived and developed over the final four years of Sakamoto’s life in collaboration with Todd Eckert and the creative studio Tin Drum. Since its world premiere at The Shed in 2023, the work has been presented internationally in cities including London, Manchester, Taipei, Singapore, Melbourne, Pesaro, and Hong Kong, receiving wide acclaim. Wearing optically transparent headsets, audiences encounter an authentic representation of Sakamoto at the grand piano, realized through a unique form of dimensional photographic capture. His performance at the grand piano emerges within the space alongside ethereal visuals that respond to the music, allowing audiences to experience the performance at a proximity not possible in a conventional concert setting. The experience extends beyond sound and image. Video, photography, and text are integrated throughout the space, alongside a natural scent personally blended by Sakamoto, creating a multilayered sensory environment. The work has been described by The Guardian as “a magical experience.” For its Japan presentation, an expanded version of the work, KAGAMI+, created specifically for this exhibition, will be unveiled. The primary objective of this post is to persuade you to like and follow my YouTube Channel. Currently, I have 999,000 subscribers, and I’d like to get to a million before I launch the first episode of People You Should Know. As you may have heard, people have begging me for several years to reboot Returning the Favor, ever since Facebook canceled it after a hundred episodes, (and right after it won an Emmy!) Unfortunately, that title belongs to Facebook, but the business of celebrating regular people with bottom-up solutions does not. Hence, a new show on YouTube called People You Should Know, which I think everyone on this page will love. Assuming of course, you're not opposed to watching it on YouTube. To make the process of liking and subscribing to my YouTube Channel as easy as possible, I’m including a link to a short video that shows me making Austin Boedeker’s mother cry. Who is Austin Boedeker, you ask? I’ll tell you. Austin Boedeker is the son of a farmer in Ohio who applied for a work ethic scholarship from my foundation a year ago. His application was perfect. His references were great, his answers to my many questions were stellar, and his video was spot on. He also agreed with every single tenet in my SWEAT Pledge and signed it with great enthusiasm. So, I gave Austin some money to pursue a career in modern agriculture and wished him well. A few months ago, I caught up with Austin while filming in Ohio, not far from where he lives. I asked him to stop by the set to say hello and give us a progress report. I thought it might be helpful for people to see exactly what kind of qualities we're attempting to reward with our scholarship program. Austin brought his family with him, so I took the opportunity to grill him in front of his father, on camera. Then, I made his mother cry by doing something I had not intended to do when I showed up for work that day. The secondary objective of this post is to persuade you to share it with every mother you know. (Or better yet, with everyone you know who ever had a mother.) Doing so may or may not lead to more weeping, but it will definitely encourage more people like Austin to apply for one of our work ethic scholarships. We’re currently in the midst of our annual enrollment period, and I’m trying to give away $2.5 million to people like Austin. Sharing this post will help.
