#WATCH | Mumbai | BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia says, "... Since Jay Shah took charge of the BCCI, he has brought about many transformations in women's cricket. Pay parity was also addressed. Last month, ICC Chairman Jay Shah increased women's prize money by 300%. Earlier, the prize money was $2.88 million, and now it has been increased to $14 million. All these steps have greatly promoted women's cricket. BCCI has also announced a reward prize of Rs 51 crores for the entire team- players, coaches, and support staff."

However, the trophy has not arrived yet, so everyone, including the BCCI, is eagerly waiting. #WATCH | Guwahati, Assam: On the Asia Cup 2025 trophy row, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia says, "So there were a series of meetings in Dubai in the ICC and the final day that was yesterday, there were two meetings. One is the informal board meeting and then followed by the formal board meeting. In both meetings, the Pakistan Cricket Board's chairperson, Mr Mohsin Naqvi, was present. I represented BCCI. During the formal meeting, there was no discussion of this issue because it was not on the agenda. However, at our request, the ICC has facilitated a meeting between Mr Naqvi and me on the sidelines of the board meeting. We had a cordial discussion on the issue. Both sides had understood that this had to be sorted out. Both sides are positive to sort it out at the earliest possible time. So the first step has been taken. So we'll be working on various options for settling it, solving the problem, and breaking the stalemate. So in the coming days, these options will be provided by either side, and we'll work it out with the intermediary part played by one of the senior persons of ICC. So in the coming days, I'm sure with some positive, definitely some positive results is going to come. So we must have a little patience. We are working on it. The other side is also working on it so that the whole thing is settled in a very amicable manner..."
