Robert De Niro originally wanted to play Max Cherry in Jackie Brown, the role that eventually went to Robert Forster. However, Quentin Tarantino had written the role with Forster in mind and had already promised him the part. Tarantino explainsโ€ฆ โ€œI wrote Jackie Brown, and I decided at some point in writing the script that Robert Forster would be terrific as Max Cherry. So, while Iโ€™m still writing the script, I bump into Robert Forster - we go to the same coffee shop. โ€ฆ.so I decided Iโ€™m gonna give him the part, because I figure, look, this would be a big, big deal part. So if I donโ€™t give him the part, then once Iโ€™m done with it and it gets out in the town, then itโ€™s gonna be Gene Hackman and Paul Newman and people like that, and it would be pretty hard to say no to. But if I just give him the part right now, Iโ€™ve got the juice to get it through, and now I canโ€™t take it back because I wouldnโ€™t be a man of my word. So to lock myself into that decision, I give it to him before I finish writing it. And then now comes the time to do it. Robert De Niro reads it, and he wants to be in it, but he wants to play Max. And I go, โ€œWell, look, you would be a fantastic Max, but Iโ€™ve already given that to Robert Forster, and Iโ€™m a man of my word. I canโ€™t take it back.โ€ Now, De Niro is very much a man of his word, so he understands that. He gets that. And heโ€™s just like, โ€œYeah, yeah. Thatโ€™s just disappointing. Itโ€™s just regretful.โ€ I go, โ€œWhat?โ€ โ€œWell, just because, you know, you were thinking about him, so you wrote it for him. But if we had had more dinners and hung out a little bit more, then you would have been thinking about me and you would have written it for me. And I understand what happened, but that could have been changed if we had spent more time with each other before this.โ€ And so he kind of gives me the โ€“ โ€œjust think about it for a couple of days, all right? - and then letโ€™s talk again. Maybe Bob (Robert Foster) could play Louis, the other guy.โ€ So then I actually have Bob read Louis with me, and then read Max. And if that could work, maybe that could work. But no, everything that made him perfect for Max made him wrong for Louis. And so I get on the phone with De Niro โ€” and I go, โ€œYeah, you know, I explored that. But no, everything about him that makes him perfect for Max makes him wrong to play this ex-convict guy.โ€ And he goes, โ€œYeah, yeah, I get that. I get that, I get that, I get that. Okay, so tell me about this Louis character.โ€ And I go, โ€œYou would consider playing Louis?โ€ โ€œYeah, itโ€™s a good character. Itโ€™s a good movie. I wanna be part of it. Itโ€™s a good character. I wanted the other character, but yeah, this is a good character. Iโ€™d be happy to play it.โ€ I go, โ€œWell, you didnโ€™t let me know that before.โ€ He goes, โ€œWell, I didnโ€™t wanna let you off the hook. I wanted you on the hook. But now if that ship has sailed, then letโ€™s talk about Louis.โ€ And then it was a done deal.โ€

.Naval: If I look back on my life, almost everything great that I managed to pull offโ€”great by my own definition, not by the worldโ€™s definitionโ€”has come from following my own natural intellectual obsessions. So I think if you can get obsessed over something, and if you can dive into it, just let yourself go and learn everything about it with no motivation other than just wanting to know the answer, that becomes the basis for all of the so-called โ€œself-improvementโ€ out there. You have Bryan Johnson here somewhere. Heโ€™s obsessed with not dying and aging. Well, heโ€™s obsessed, and thatโ€™s great. Heโ€™s following his intellectual obsession, and we all get to learn from that. Youโ€™re following your obsession with the network state, and there are people out there following their obsession on AI, on crypto, and on historyโ€”Roman history, whatever it is. But if you get obsessed with something, you can figure it out to a detail that other people donโ€™t. You can satisfy yourself. If you go deep enough into anything, you find the same commonalities, you find the same philosophies. As a weird aside, Iโ€™ve gotten into photography recently. Donโ€™t ask me why, but itโ€™s just a way of combining art and science, being social and antisocial, doing something utilitarian. But sure enough, Iโ€™m obsessed with photography. Iโ€™m reading all the philosophical photography blogs where the authors talk about the meaning of life, art, science, and so on. If you go deep into anything, youโ€™ll find the same common threads. And so, I think self-improvement really just comes from letting yourself be who you areโ€”following the things you truly want to follow, figuring out what you want to figure outโ€”not worrying about what others want or think. And then, you kind of find yourself in the same place at the end, no matter which route you take.

Fuentes has been running from me for years to avoid a public discussion. Why? Because heโ€™s terrified of me. So are all the grifters. Not because Iโ€™m some horrible dude. Itโ€™s because I bring up the โ€œs word.โ€ The word that destroys their businesses. Solutions. Every single one of these people on the right and the left all require that their guests only talk about who disappointed them and who needs to change. It never ends and itโ€™s very profitable. Until a guy does actual solutions. Then instantly Iโ€™m a gay homophobic Jewish Nazi fed who lives alone in the woods consumed by hate. So my strategy is now to engage in their drama and get their fans pissed and then drop solutions and goals. Some may see it. Either way, this little conman thinks heโ€™s bane? Bro Iโ€™m from a town where my family home that my parents still live in is 5 figures and everyone is drunk all the time. I have a unique set of skills to chip away at the credibility of these snake oil salesman. I reached out to Nick once about how to crowd fund for the cost of a ticket to buy property where he canโ€™t be deplatformed. Crickets. Then he starts saying that Iโ€™m a scumbag and Iโ€™m ripping people off. Thatโ€™s in โ€œrules for radicals.โ€ Attack your enemy with what you actually are. Even with zero evidence whatsoever it still weakens their accusations. Nick is literally a trained con man. He likes being deplatformed and attacked. Thatโ€™s how he makes his money. If his followers got self sustaining and their own families they wouldnโ€™t have the same amount of money to shower him with. And thatโ€™s actually why the root of all evil is the love of money. Hey angry groomers. You guys find every clip on everyone. Go ahead and post the video of me threatening to kill his family Iโ€™ll leave the comments open.

Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin on the prospect of having Democrats vote to confirm him (or not) for DHS secretary and Kristi Noem being fired... โ€œ[Senator] John [Fetterman] already texted me, and, of course, you guys know John and I are friends, too, so I don't know. We are going to try to earn everybody's vote. I want people to understand, I'm not โ€” when I go into this position, yes, Iโ€™m a Republican, yes, Iโ€™m conservative, but the department of homeland security is to keep everybody โ€” regard this if you support me or if you don't support me or if you donโ€™t support me or regardless what your thoughts are, Iโ€™m here to enforce the policies that Congress passed, and I โ€” right now, Iโ€™m part of it, but once I make that transition, my focus is to keep the homeland secure. Thatโ€™s going to be my focus and โ€” and weโ€™re super excited about this opportunity.โ€ โ€œIโ€™m going to have a conversation โ€” if โ€” if Mr. Schumer wants to sit down and talk with me, Iโ€™m going to sit down and talk to him, I want to try to earn their support and Iโ€™m going to be very open and honest with them, and at the end of the day, all I can do is do my job. And so, I donโ€™t โ€” Iโ€™m not going to get in the tit-for-tat, but if they have real concerns, Iโ€™m going to listen to it. Iโ€™m going to see if itโ€™s practical. But nothing is going to prevent me from doing my job. Iโ€™m going to enforce the policies and laws that Congress has passed and weโ€™re going to protect our homeland.โ€ โ€œListen, Kristi is a friend, and I havenโ€™t had time to call Kristi โ€” or Secretary Noem yet. Our families are friends. She was โ€” she was tasked to do a very difficult job, and I think she has โ€” she has performed the best she can do underneath the circumstances. Is there always lessons to be learned? You know, listen, my wife and I, we have โ€” over the years, we have been fortunate enough to purchase companies and grow our companies and, every day, there is something you can do better. And so, I think thereโ€™s โ€” thereโ€™s an opportunity to build off successes, and there is also opportunities to build off things that may be didnโ€™t go quite as planned.โ€

Despite being abandoned by my father as a child, if he were still alive, I would be open to starting a new relationship with him. The last time I spoke to him, I was 21 years old and a new father. I wanted to tell him about his grandson, but he didnโ€™t seem interested in talking to me. I told myself that I wouldnโ€™t attempt to call him anymore, but I would never ignore his calls if he tried to reach me. Unfortunately, he never did. ------------------------------------ I talk more about my relationship with my father in my new book "The Children We Left Behind" Purchase a copy from Amazon: or directly from Wrong Speak Publishing: ------------------------------------- As Iโ€™ve gotten olderโ€”and especially watching my son become an adultโ€”Iโ€™ve thought a lot about mortality and the fragility of life. I often reflect on my mistakes as a young adult and my ambivalence toward my parents because I hadnโ€™t yet learned to forgive. When youโ€™re a child, you think adults have it all together, and you expect them to be more than they really are. That one time they screwed up sticks out in your head more than the hundreds of times they sacrificed for you. Iโ€™ve tried to be the best father I possibly can be, but Iโ€™m sure there were a time or two when I unintentionally let my son down. In an era where everyone thinks theyโ€™re always right yet holds higher expectations of behavior for others than they themselves can live up to, we are severely lacking in the area of giving grace and leaning on forgiveness. Instead, we tell people who are having relationship issues to excommunicate others forever, but running from your problems doesnโ€™t resolve them. There are valid times to go no-contact with someone in your life, but the number of times Iโ€™ve heard poor reasoning for disconnecting completely from parents is shocking to me. Social media is rife with terrible advice, encouraging people to see a single flaw in someone they love as enough reason to shut them out of their life. Iโ€™m speaking from experience when I say this: You canโ€™t resolve a relationship while simultaneously running from it. The only way to fix a fractured relationship is to confront it head-on with love and honesty. And if the person youโ€™re having issues with isnโ€™t hearing you, then you should give them the grace of patience until they lower their guard enough to receive your message. Recently, I was talking to a father who has been struggling to have a relationship with his children for years since his divorce. Every time he tries to get close to them, they push him away. Just as much as it hurts children to be rejected, it hurts parents when theyโ€™re pushed away too. What I explained to him was that he should never give up and that he needs to be 100% accountable for his actions. From a parentโ€™s perspective, you might have a hard time understanding why theyโ€™re angry with you, and their reasoning might not make sense from your point of view. Parents can often get stuck in the mud of factual differences compared to their childrenโ€™s emotional interpretations. If youโ€™re in this situation and falling into the trap of debating their emotions, step away from it. Itโ€™s a losing battle to engage in this type of back-and-forth because, from the childโ€™s perspective, it comes off as you disregarding their feelings. Is the point to be right or to re-establish a relationship? Iโ€™ll never tell someone to take ownership of something they didnโ€™t do, but you can acknowledge their emotions and how theyโ€™re feeling. Everyone wants to be accepted, and if youโ€™re a child who feels rejected, the last thing you want is to experience the rejection of your emotional interpretations. If youโ€™re a parent striving to re-establish a relationship with your child, my suggestion is that you donโ€™t give up on them. Work on their timeline and understand that if theyโ€™re rejecting your attempts, they just want you to feel the hurt theyโ€™re experiencing. However, I believe that repeated attempts of love will eventually break down that hardened wall. Acknowledge their pain, apologize for what you did or what you could have done better as a parent, and give them time to absorb your efforts. The reason I would give my father an opportunity to be in my life is that I understand we are all flawed, and many of us live with regretsโ€”I know I do. The way my life has turned out, Iโ€™ve come to understand the importance of giving others grace for their shortcomings and embracing forgiveness. I donโ€™t harbor any anger toward my father because I canโ€™t fix the past, and heโ€™s no longer alive to potentially mend our broken relationship. I forgave my father years ago because being angry at him never helped me grow as a man. I would give anything to have a chance to really get to know him, and it saddens me when I see people believing that tomorrow is guaranteed. That person you cut off from your life might be gone tomorrow, and you wonโ€™t have a chance to resolve your differences. Personally, I wouldnโ€™t want to carry that on my conscience, knowing I was too scared or resentful to fix a relationship with someone I loved. Giving people grace is a blessing. Itโ€™s about time we bless the world.

Quick update on the parallel [dot]gov website investigation: I want to say this professionallyโ€ฆ but what in the federal Russian nesting doll is going on here?? I wish I could tell you this got clearer the more I dug, but every thread I pull leads to five new websites, a new acronym, and a weird string of code I now have beef with. Itโ€™s also led me to make some phone calls to different federal agencies to see how much the government actually knows about whatโ€™s happening at the executive-branch level and, wellโ€ฆ my face in this outtake kind of says it all. So thatโ€™s why I havenโ€™t posted the investigation yet this week. Iโ€™m taking a little extra time with this one to make sure Iโ€™m connecting the dots responsibly, being as thorough as possible, and turning a very dense, and honestly pretty alarming, set of findings into something clear enough for people to actually follow. I appreciate your patience (because Lord knows mine left the building about three phone calls ago). Iโ€™m also planning my first live next week as a companion piece to this investigation. A casual deeper dive on the deep dive, talking through some of the evidence that didnโ€™t make it in the video. Iโ€™m still figuring out the best day and time; trying not to overlap with Candice, Baron, or other creators a lot of you also watch. So drop suggestions below if you have a preference! Regrettably, there is more. Part two coming soon.

My secret project that has been in the works is finally done!! Adopted 2 benches for Bin at Esplanade, Singapore! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿค Starting this project as a little secret of mine helped me cope with the grief I had in my heart, because it made me look forward to something, and I really wanted to give something back to Bin for all the times he brought light in my life~ itโ€™s the last precious memory that Bin and I will share together so Iโ€™ll keep close to my heart! ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ It all started since a few days after the news brokeโ€ฆ It started as a thought of โ€œwhat if I can adopt a bench in Singapore?โ€ after finding out that the Seoul bench adoption will expire in a few yearsโ€ฆ then the thoughts sparked into an action and after so long itโ€™s finally completed ๐Ÿฅน 23/4/23: the thought process started and the search for a project began 26/4/23: contacted Esplanade 28/4/23: first viewing of the available benches 3/5/23: second viewing of some selected benches, decision to adopt & donation made 29/5/23: Plaques on benches installed It was tough choosing the locations, but what finally got me to decide was the amazing view and breeze at the waterfront bench ๐ŸŒƒ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ, and the sighting of some butterflies and the moon at the Forecourt garden bench ๐Ÿฆ‹๐ŸŒ™ Bin-ah I asked you multiple times to tell me what you wanted since I couldnโ€™t decide, and it seems like you wanted both (hence the strong winds like you were giving me a hug at the first bench and the moon at night at the second bench)โ€ฆ so I got you both are you happy?๐Ÿคญ You can choose to sit at the waterfront bench and enjoy the breeze and pretty waters which I know youโ€™ll love, or you can go to the forecourt bench and lie down and sleep because itโ€™s so big ๐Ÿ˜‚ The waterfront bench has a 10 year renewal so Iโ€™ll renew every 10 years as I renew my promise to remember you and live well~ and the Forecourt garden bench is a lifetime adoption which means youโ€™ll always be remembered~ But Bin-ah was it your doing? I wanted the plaques to be up on the 26th of May since 26 is a special number because of your birthday, but there was a delay so it couldnโ€™t be done! Happy Sunday! I wanted to sit down for a second to introduce myself and provide receipts for all of the people who are rightfully cautious in a moment like this! Itโ€™s ok if you havenโ€™t seen me before this week, but Iโ€™m definitely not a new comer. I started my podcast in the 4th grade at 11 years old. Charlie and Candace were two of my first ever guests. They were speaking at a local campus together and for some reason took a chance on me. Charlie and I exchanged numbers afterwards and have stayed friends, texting just before the assassination because he took the time to congratulate me on an accomplishment when he definitely didnโ€™t have to take the time to. He came on my podcast a second time just a few years ago. Last year, at the RNC we met up and had a conversation where he encouraged me to start speaking at TPUSA chapters. I had no experience and was nervous but he said they needed more students speaking to students and I would learn as I go but he believed in me. I did that tour last year, and thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m speaking at TPUSA chapters again. Because he inspired me. The TPUSA chapters are doing amazing, and TPUSA and their Tours team and local reps are impressing the world as they keep seamlessly pulling off adding more and more chapters. I went from podcasting to national politics a little more in 2023 because I called out the RINOS at the RNC at the time and begged that we not go back to the neocon Bush days but instead clean house and make it MAGA. I endorsed Harmeet for Chair. Sadly she lost but she and others helped me get to still be a part of that cleaning house conversation by building the first of its kind youth council for the 2024 election. Iโ€™m doing this tour now to try to motivate young people. Iโ€™m getting nothing but hate from it. No paycheck or speaking fee or anything like that. Weโ€™re not selling anything. Iโ€™m just walking in and talking and trying to show them if I can get involved in the 4th grade they can to! As for other concerns, for any nosey people Iโ€™m a Baptist, which is where I went to church this morning, like I have every Sunday for the past 19 years. Jesus is King - always has been always will be! And do a little research before believing anything random trolls claim. My family has only ever donated to local politicians. Just like every businessman in America. If you think supporting a city councilor gets me to where I am today, youโ€™re sadly mistaken. Finally, I said this to the NY Post but everybody just read the headline and not the article. Iโ€™m not Charlie. Iโ€™ll never be Charlie, and I donโ€™t want to be Charlie. I canโ€™t! He was 1 of 1. Iโ€™m Brilyn, and if I seem eager itโ€™s because I am. I watched the guy I looked up to get shot. And Iโ€™m determined to make sure he didnโ€™t die in vain and inspire my peers to carry out his legacy. This is all God. I didnโ€™t work hard enough for it. Nobody bought it for me. This is impossible in any other scenario without God. Iโ€™m legitimately making $0.00. TV hits donโ€™t make money. Campus speeches donโ€™t make money. This overseas money thatโ€™s โ€œtied to meโ€ hasnโ€™t hit my account yet or I wouldnโ€™t be at college working so hard on a degree! Itโ€™s ok to be cautious. Iโ€™m not even asking you to support me! I just wanted to share that weโ€™re on the same side, and like Charlie always encouraged me Iโ€™m going to keep going โ€œonwardโ€ and he always liked to sign texts. I hope youโ€™re with me. If youโ€™re not, itโ€™s ok. But itโ€™s certainly not gonna stop me.

As most of you know, my daughter Taryn moved back in with me after about 15 years with her grandparents. They took great care of her, but she was ready to come home to Mom, and Iโ€™m at a place in my life where I can provide the best care and resources for her, but itโ€™s a process filled with lots of hoops and red tape. I took Taryn to the movies the other day and it started out great. We walked there, and she was so excited and happy. Throughout the movie she was holding my hand, giving me hugs, leaning her head on me, and I remember thinking, โ€œwow, I am so happy and grateful. My life is perfect in this moment.โ€ Then disaster struck out of nowhere. We were in the front left row, and a Dad with his little girl were in the right front row. The movie went quiet, and Taryn could hear the little girl chewing her popcorn. Taryn developed severe Misophonia, and itโ€™s gotten progressively worse over the last couple years. The sound of chewing sets off her fight or flight instincts, and although she tries, she has the communication and emotional regulation capabilities of a two year old. I could see her getting visibly agitated, and tried to get her to leave, even offered to take her to Mc. Donaldโ€™s if we left, and told her we could come back and finish the movie another time. She said no, that she wanted to stay. She had been looking forward to the movie for weeks, and didnโ€™t want to leave. The movie got quiet again, and out of nowhere she jumped up and ran over to the little girl and her Dad. She tried to attack them, but the dad stopped her and I was right behind her and grabbed her. She tried to go after them again, and I grabbed her and pulled her down to the floor. I was mortified, and the fact that we were in the front row in a theater full of people made it even worse. I apologized, helped Taryn up, and started pushing her up the aisle, toward the door. All the while, sheโ€™s screaming at the top of her lungs. When I walked out, the employee behind the counter gave me a sympathetic look and whispered โ€œitโ€™s ok.โ€ Of course, we had walkedโ€ฆ Taryn screamed the whole way home. When we got home, she lost her tablet and printing privileges, leading to her punching me and then hitting herself and biting herself repeatedly, and screaming for hours but the consequences stuck. I was overwhelmed, embarrassed, and generally overstimulated, but I kept calm and stayed even throughout the entire process, somehow. The next day, I woke up to someone sending me a screenshot from a post the father made. I instantly started crying. I am so grateful to live in a community with such amazing and understanding people. All of the comments passed the vibe check. Iโ€™m also so grateful they were so understanding and am happy to report that the little girl was unfazed. Taryn had a mental health assessment last week, and meets with a licensed clinician on Monday and a case manager the following week. The clinician will be able to help make a plan to get Taryn the best care she needs, and the Case Manager will help us put it into action. This is a hard transition for all of us, but Iโ€™m so grateful to have her home and to be able to get her the help and services she needs. She isnโ€™t a bad kid. Sheโ€™s actually really funny, really smart, and super talented. She just struggles with a lot of things we take for granted. Iโ€™m grateful for the support of my guy, my friends and coworkers, and my community in general. #autisminclusion #AutismAwareness #misophonia #OCD #autism #tarynisabella #level3autism #severeautism

Ever notice how you start something with fire, and two weeks later youโ€™re already flirting with a new idea? Yeah. Thatโ€™s not lack of discipline. Thatโ€™s dopamine doing its thing. I used to think I had focus problems. Turns out, I had novelty addiction. Every project started like a romance. Intense energy. Big promises. Late nights filled with vision boards and caffeine. Then somewhere around week three, Iโ€™d mysteriously "lose interest." The spark was gone. The spreadsheets looked boring. Suddenly reorganizing my Notion templates felt urgent. If you know, you know. We tell ourselves stories to stay sane: "Itโ€™s not the right time." "I just need to pivot." "Iโ€™m giving it space to breathe." Translation: the dopamine high crashed, and now our brain wants a new hit. And itโ€™s wild because this cycle doesnโ€™t make you lazy. It makes you incredibly creative at avoiding repetition. Your brain would rather work on ten unfinished projects than fully finish one. Most high performers live like this for years. Running on sparks. Burning out on starts. Building momentum, then ghosting their own potential. I call this being a "Dopamine Dave". Brilliant. Driven. Restless. Always chasing the next thing that feels alive, even when it costs long-term progress. And the truth is, willpower has nothing to do with it. Your brain is wired to crave novelty more than completion. Iโ€™m diving deep into this in my upcoming Dopamine Mastery 2.0 Workshop on November 30th. Weโ€™ll explore what this loop really is, why high performers get trapped in it, and what happens when you finally break the cycle. Early access will be through my newsletter (Link in Bio and Below). Thatโ€™s where sign-ups open first. And yes, prices increase as we get closer to the event. If this post hit a nerve (or felt a little too accurate), join the newsletter now. Letโ€™s make sure Dopamine Dave doesnโ€™t keep running the show.

โ€œIs JD Vance a Political Coward, a Personal Coward, or Both?โ€ JD Vance said this in a recent interview with UnHerd: โ€œ99% of Republicans, and I think probably 97% of Democrats, do not hate Jewish people for being Jewishโ€ฆ there is a real backlash to a consensus view in American foreign policyโ€ฆ we should be able to say โ€˜we agree with Israel on that issue, and we disagree with Israel on this other issue.โ€™โ€ Fine. Name the issue. Go ahead. Say it clearly. Is it Jewish communities in Judea & Samaria? Is it taking the gloves off against Iranโ€”Americaโ€™s enemy? Is it military cooperation that strengthens America and creates American jobs? Be precise. Be specific. Name the policy youโ€™re โ€œdisagreeingโ€ with. Because hereโ€™s the problem: you and people like you keep downplaying the massive rise in antisemitism on both the Left and the Right, as if itโ€™s fringe or imaginary. It isnโ€™t. And a huge portion of it is laundered through Israel. โ€œIโ€™m not an antisemite, Iโ€™m just anti-Zionist.โ€ Okayโ€ฆ then whatโ€™s your criticism of Israel that doesnโ€™t collapse into the same old ignorant, obsessive, conspiratorial Jew-hatred the moment anyone asks a follow-up? Because most of the โ€œcriticismโ€ from the right-wing influencer class doesnโ€™t hold water. It doesnโ€™t survive scrutiny. Itโ€™s not โ€œpolicy disagreement.โ€ Itโ€™s fixation. Itโ€™s resentment. Itโ€™s a vibe! One that always seems to end at โ€œJews.โ€ And you canโ€™t pretend you donโ€™t know who youโ€™re standing next to. Tucker Carlsonโ€”who elevated you and pushed you into national Republican stardomโ€”has mainstreamed this genre of โ€œanti-Zionismโ€ that constantly bleeds into antisemitic insinuation: loyalty tests, dual-loyalty smears, Talmud hysteria, and endless โ€œIsrael controls Americaโ€ signaling. And thatโ€™s why it stood out that one of your strongest condemnations lately was aimed at Sloan Rachmuth; who asked a question you should be able to answer in public without melting down: How much influence does Tucker Carlsonโ€™s orbitโ€”including his son Buckley, and the broader network around themโ€”have on your thinking and staffing? Itโ€™s easy to dismiss antisemitism on the Right when you justโ€ฆ donโ€™t look at it. Itโ€™s easy to say โ€œthatโ€™s not antisemitism, itโ€™s just Israel,โ€ when you use โ€œIsraelโ€ as a rug to sweep it under. But we can see whatโ€™s under the rug. When every TPUSA-style event reliably produces yet another obsessive USS Liberty question, that isnโ€™t โ€œforeign policy nuance.โ€ Itโ€™s a tell. When prominent right-wing personalities give an on-blowjob to figures like Nick Fuentes, that isnโ€™t โ€œedgy discourse.โ€ Itโ€™s an ecosystem. When Candace Owens and other influencers rant about Jews, Israel, and the Talmud like itโ€™s a civilizational panic button, that isnโ€™t โ€œcriticism.โ€ Itโ€™s antisemitism with a costume on. This exists on the Right. Itโ€™s not small. And it cannot be ignoredโ€ฆ especially by someone auditioning to lead a country. So why are you ignoring it? Hereโ€™s my contention: because youโ€™ll say or do anything for power. Youโ€™ll cozy up to Jew-haters because you want their votesโ€ฆ and because YOU think you NEED them. Thatโ€™s not just cowardly. Thatโ€™s dangerous. And itโ€™s anti-American. So prove me wrong. If youโ€™re โ€œjust anti-Zionistโ€ and itโ€™s โ€œjust about Israeli policyโ€: Name the policy. Be specific. Say it plainly. No winking. No fog. No dodge. Anything else is just cowardice.

โ€œThere were four entities.โ€ โ€œThey had a large head, small body, and dark eyes.โ€ This Air Force veteran just alleged that he was taken aboard a UFO from Vandenberg Air Force Base in 1964. And the entities revealed shocking things about the universe to him: First, they told him that they abducted him because they needed to access the nuclear weapons on the base. Why? Because they would never let humanity launch nukes. They told him that if humanity ever started a nuclear war, they would intervene. And they told him there are many other civilizations out there, some of which arenโ€™t as โ€œbenevolent.โ€ This is Richard Barthโ€™s shocking testimony: It was 2 AM in September 1964. โ€œI just saw a wall of fog โ€ฆ โ€ Barth was guarding a Minuteman missile launch site. โ€œNext thing I know, I see this shadow in the fog โ€ฆ which appeared to be a man or a humanoid figure.โ€ โ€œAnd I could feel it in my mind.โ€ โ€œIt was like it started grabbing hold of me.โ€ โ€œAs it approached me, I tried to pull my pistol โ€ฆ and my right arm was paralyzed.โ€ โ€œIt was terrifying.โ€ โ€œThe next thing I knowโ€”I donโ€™t know if I passed out, itโ€™s just blank at that pointโ€”Iโ€™m inside this circular room.โ€ โ€œIโ€™m on my knees, and thereโ€™s a 2.5-3 foot circle thatโ€™s clear.โ€ โ€œI could see through it.โ€ โ€œThereโ€™s this figure to my right, and itโ€™s communicating with me: โ€˜donโ€™t look at me, just look through the circle.โ€™โ€ โ€œItโ€™s weird, because itโ€™s not words.โ€ โ€œSo Iโ€™m looking at the circle, and what you see initially is just this gray fog.โ€ โ€œAll of a sudden, this kind of clears awayโ€”like clouds splitting.โ€ โ€œItโ€™s just getting light, and I can see this truck pull up to the gate.โ€ โ€œA guard came over to the right side of a truck and was โ€ฆ checking whoever was driving, opened the gate, let the truck in, and then the clouds closed up.โ€ โ€œIโ€™m still looking through this hole, and โ€ฆ I kind of raised my eyes to look around.โ€ โ€œThere were, opposite me, about 6-10 feet away, these four figures sitting on a bench.โ€ โ€œThe wall of theโ€”Iโ€™ll call it a craftโ€”I could see that the bench was just a continuation of the material of whatever the wall was.โ€ โ€œThe figures were silhouetted, like the light source was from the wall, but very consistent.โ€ โ€œThey had a large head and smaller body, disproportionate.โ€ โ€œThe eyes were discernible because they were darker than the skin.โ€ Next thing he knew, Barth was back in his guard shack, lying on the floor. โ€œThereโ€™s a little porch right in front of the door to the guard shack โ€ฆ and this being is sitting on the porch and has my head in its lap.โ€ โ€œItโ€™s communicating: โ€˜Iโ€™m sorry, we didnโ€™t mean to scare you โ€ฆ but we had to have access to the site.โ€™โ€ โ€œThe other thing was โ€ฆ it did not want me to see it.โ€ โ€œHe says: โ€˜now Iโ€™m gonna leave, and I want you to just keep your eyes shut.โ€™โ€ โ€œHe left, and โ€ฆ I laid there for maybe fifteen minutes with my eyes shut.โ€ โ€œI finally got up and looked around, and โ€ฆ thereโ€™s a ridge of mountains โ€ฆ and the sun was coming up over that ridge.โ€ โ€œIt was a beautiful sight.โ€ โ€œThere was a little chipmunk on the ground, and I just felt so much love for that little chipmunk.โ€ โ€œI felt like I was joined with that chipmunk, one living creature to another, and it kind of just looked back at me and scurried away.โ€ What is your reaction to Richard Barthโ€™s testimony? Several weeks after the September 11th terrorist attacks, I had a heart-wrenching conversation with a manager of one of the restaurants in the World Trade Centers. He told me, โ€œI canโ€™t get over the grief that I never saw the 250 people who worked for me as people. They were waiters, chefs, busboys, hosts, event plannersโ€”but they werenโ€™t people to me. And over the last three weeks, Iโ€™ve gone to funeral after funeral and sat with their moms and dads, husbands and wives, and children and heard the stories of their lives. Now they are people to me, but now theyโ€™re gone.โ€ He wept as he told me that story. I wept as I listened. Itโ€™s hard not to get emotional thinking back to that story today, 22 years later. And itโ€™s hard not to feel guilt. I think this attitude is typical of many of us. I know itโ€™s true for me. I often donโ€™t see people as people. Itโ€™s the barista whose job it is to create my perfect coffee order. Itโ€™s the supermarket assistant who is there to speed up my process on the self-checkout scanner. Itโ€™s the waiter who exists to get me my delicious meal without any delays or mistakes. Do you see people as people? Or are they functions to assist you in creating a day that is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible? If you want to shine as a light in this world, pray that God will give you the eyes to see people as people. Slow down, look into their eyes, and remember that this is a human being created in the image of God, who has a heart, an eternal destiny, a story, a desire to be loved, with legitimate fears and concerns, and hopes and dreams. Then, adjust your schedule or make sacrifices to bump into these people more frequently. That could mean going to the same place at the same time so you can interact with the same person on their regular shift pattern. Maybe that means shopping differently to build relationships with people who live or work in your neighborhood. Sadly, too many of us are chasing an ever-growing to-do list as we try to build a kingdom of created delights, which causes us to rush past people, or worse, use them to make life as efficient, convenient, and pleasurable as possible. Lastly, ask questions. Simple questions are a great starting point: How are you doing today? How has your week been? What do you have going on this weekend? What are you most excited about? How are your kids doing in school? I was at a restaurant once, and the man dining with me said to the waiter, โ€œWeโ€™re a group of people who like to pray before we eat. Is there anything we can pray for you?โ€ The waiter was taken off guard, stumbled, and said, โ€œUh, I donโ€™t think I really need anything right now.โ€ But then he came back five minutes later. โ€œActually, I think I could use your prayer. I just found out my girlfriend is pregnant, and Iโ€™m terrified. I have no idea how to be a father. Would you pray for me?โ€ What a fantastic opportunity! And it was so simple. My friend saw the waiter as a person, not a function, and he asked a simple question. Then, go back again and again to develop a relationship and wait for the opportunities that God gives you as a result. โ€œWhen he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, โ€œThe harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvestโ€ (Matthew 9:36โ€“38). ๐—” ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ง๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†: God, would you help me to see people as people and not as cogs in the machine of my day to make my life more comfortable and easy? Would you provide me with opportunities to engage with the people you have placed in my life and when those opportunities arise, would you give me the courage to lean in and ask questions of them? Would you help to make my heart sensitive and caring to others that you might use me in whatever way you want. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

Pastor John MacArthurโ€™s final sermon at Grace Community Church was excellent! He was thankful in all his trials by trusting in Godโ€™s word and His providence. The Unfailing Promises of God โ€” John MacArthur // November 24, 2024 Itโ€™s been since July that Iโ€™ve preached here on a Sunday. That wouldnโ€™t have been my choice; but I think, as Grace just sung, sometimes our trials are blessings in disguise, and God has purposes that we would never have been able to fulfill if we werenโ€™t put into some kind of stress. I can tell you, Iโ€™ve had three heart surgeries and surgery on my lungs in those last few months, and Iโ€™m still here, so Iโ€™m thankful to the Lord for that. And I have so much to be thankful for. In fact, when people ask me how I feel, I say Iโ€™m thankful. Iโ€™m just thankful I see the good and gracious and kind and providential hand of God in every vicissitude in my life. Every hard experience, every challenge, whatever that challenge may be, I see the good hand of divine providence operating in ways that would never have been possible were it not for the trials. So I genuinely and truly am grateful, and I can be grateful because I know the outcome of everything. The outcome of everything is to the glory of God and the benefit of His children, right? So I want to make sure that I allow my own heart to rejoice in the fact that God will perfect me and will bring glory to Himself through my trials, probably more than any other way. And one thing that I have found is that my thanksgiving has increased, because itโ€™s in the trials when youโ€™re face-to-face with things that could easily overpower you, and you have no particular control over them at all, that you find your faith is tested. And out of that testing has come an immense amount of gratitude to the Lord. He has revealed Himself in all these issues, all these trials, in so many ways that I canโ€™t even begin to count. And I think when youโ€™re in a situation like this, for a true believer, thankfulness should be the first reaction, because the Lord is doing His work on the one hand; and on the second hand, youโ€™re getting close to heaven, and we rejoice in that reality. In Colossians 3, if you want to look at it for a moment, Colossians 3:15, just a reminder: โ€œLet the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.โ€ And hereโ€™s a very brief command: โ€œBe thankful.โ€ โ€œBe thankful.โ€ Down in verse 17 it says, โ€œWhatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.โ€ Thatโ€™s a New Testament counterpart to, say, Psalm 103:2, which says, โ€œBless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits.โ€So as I was thinking about how we might be thankful together tonight, I wanted to find a location in the Scripture where we could pull together some amazing realities for which we must be thankful, and that drew me to John 13, the gospel of John in chapter 13. And I want to do kind of a flyover of John 13 through 16 with some landings along the way. Now, when you come to John 13, just a little bit of background. This is the upper room. This is the night of the Last Supper. This is Jesus with the twelve. This is the unmasking of Judas. This is the bewilderment, the chaos, the confusion, the discouragement, the fear, the doubts, the brokenhearted response of the apostles to things going in a direction they never, ever expected. Rather than Jesus setting up a kingdom, He keeps talking about dying. In fact, He even is explicit about the fact that He will be killed. In the twelfth chapter of John, in verse 23, Jesus said, โ€œThe hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.โ€ Well, that sounds good. Maybe this is the coming of the kingdom. But then immediately He says in verse 24, โ€œTruly, truly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.โ€

If you scroll through this thread without reading, I don't think you can ever learn anything meaningful in this Life again , so don't be in a haste to scroll. MR LIGHT ๐ŸŒŠ asked me a question yesterday regarding my post which says "Keep Learning until the L becomes silent ". He first asked me is it true that the L can be silent, I told him Yes. Then he proceed to say but some says learning never ends meaning he was asking when do we then start earning since learning never ends. At first I was baffled then I became happy. This question made me remember what my go-to-person told me 5 months ago and I'll explain it to you all. I just wanted to enter the web3 space then and I was confused and you all know this newbies chaos like being confused as to which niche to specialise in, what you're good at etc, and you see I was really confused. I even believed this Space wasn't my space. You might want to read that again. For me, I love Forex Trading so much and at the same time, I also wanted to learn programming, but Sapa was literally living with me, no equipment, no money. It seemed as if life was just altering all my plans but my go-to-person came through for me and he told me this story about a Rocket ๐Ÿš€. He said the rocket has 4 compartments( Not for modern Rockets). The first Stage: This is the stage that propels it from the ground with so much heat, moving it against gravity, against all odds. Similarly, in a human case, it the first skill a person learnt. For me it was Affiliate Marketing, there's no work without stress and Affiliate marketing was not exception. It was really stressful but I went ahead to buy the course myself. I mean I wouldn't want my money to waste away. They say 'pain has a way of driving you', this was my drive then and I gave it my best shot, I learnt the skill to nearly perfection ๐Ÿ˜€ and it was printing for me. However, I saw myself doing much more than that and don't forget my love for this other skillsโ€“Forex Trading and Programming but I was still a kid then. There's a saying that if you have a skill before and you want to change to another one, don't put that skill aside meaning do not ever start from Zero. I stopped my Affiliate marketing to focus on the forex trading course I bought ๐Ÿ˜‚. Silly me right? As expected, after I reached half of the course, I realised I had screwd up big time . Without money you can always work as an affiliate marketer but not for Forex Trading. That guy without funds is like fetching water into a basket. No funds, no Forex. So I had to put down my forex trading course and looked around for what I could do next and I didn't want to go back to Affiliate marketing ๐Ÿ™ƒ. And then came Web3. I got into web3 through my Boss Crystals, he's the one who onboarded me into web3 and I'm really grateful for that. Still on the story... The second stage: my second stage is web3 which I have been trying to build in. you all know web3 is not easy, right now, I'm changing my niches, upgrading my skills. The third stage: Don't have one yet but coming soon... And lastly the payload( this is where people stay when they're on Rockets) and this is where everybody wants to be. The first, second and third stages are filled with propellant(fuels and oxidizers). My go-to-person said when a rocket takes off and reaches a certain level and all the fuel in the first stage is gone, it discards the first stage(just as how i discarded my Affiliate marketing jobs but still got the skills), it starts moving upward without waiting with the fuel in the second stage and the same process of discarding goes for the second stage and also the third stage until it reaches its destination. Meaning, you can't stay put on one skill, you have to keep upgrading your skills, if not you'll be left behind like Nokia, it doesn't matter the amount you put into acquiring that skill, you got to keep moving.

๐Ÿšจ horrible conditions of more than 6.000 Sudanese refugees in Kumar, Ethiopia ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡น ( This morning we woke up to several phone calls on our WhatsApp hotline as usual. But this time it is a number with the country code of Ethiopia. One goes into the guess: what would someone from Ethiopia want from Refugees in Libya? But letโ€™s answer the call! We picked up the call and someone started the conversation in an Arabic tone: โ€œAre you David Yambio?โ€ โ€œYes, I amโ€ i told him. He goes on to introduce himself and says that they are dying and they need help. But in the meanwhile he asks โ€œwill you allow me to turn on my camera to broadcast the situation?โ€ I tell him to wait while I ask immediately another comrade to start filming, because I donโ€™t know what he will show me on a video call or if we will ever get in touch with him or who knows if that is the last drop of his battery ๐Ÿชซ. We dive into the topic, as I ask curious questions about everything possible to foster my understanding of the situation. But the bandwidth is low. I canโ€™t see clearly what is happening, but I see throngs of people and his voice comes in and out. I tell him to rather record a short video of the circumstance and then tell me all details in a voice message via WhatsApp because that is easier in such situations. The network is still dropping and I am so lost, that I havenโ€™t convened the right message and at the same time I wonder if I raised his expectations for a rescue by asking him to record a short video. The call ends and I immediately sent him a voice message, explaining in details what I need to know: the location, what is happening, when did they leave Sudan and who is there helping on the ground, the UNHCR? The government? Charity organisations? I ask for anything that could help us understand the situation and who to target. It is more that two minutes that the message has been delivered, but in my WhatsApp status it indicates that he hasnโ€™t seen the message yet. I am lost and mad because I couldnโ€™t help, I wondered if I will ever hear from him again and if not, what will happen to the thousands of people that I saw in that video call? I went out to get some fruits for breakfast but every minute I check my phone as messages pop up but none is from that stranger from Ethiopia. in between, I receive two calls from Libya but I tell them that I will call them in a few minutes, because in my head I am hoping that the person stuck in a desperate situation in Ethiopia will call and he would find the line busy? I did the shopping and immediately went home, but I canโ€™t sit or start my breakfast as I move up and down in my room. I ask my comrade โ€œwhat if the person doesnโ€™t call back? How do we reach him? What do they want from Refugees in Libya? What if they send us the video we requested for, what will we do with it?โ€ โ€œWe can ring an alarm ๐Ÿšจ?โ€ I asked while feeling disappointed. A few more minutes passed and messages started to pop in: desperate faces, many more hundreds in one picture, signposts and banners about the situation at Kumar camp in Ethiopia ( In the pictures are persons wearing jackets with the UNHCR logo and I immediately tell myself that at least they will be helped. I insist for a video, because for me it would be easier to understand what is happening. He tells me, โ€œbe patient because our network is slow and the video is loadingโ€. Finally after 6 minutes, the video arrives and I am shocked. But what do I tell him: a โ€œthank youโ€? โ€œI will do something about your situation?โ€ โ€œI will report about it?โ€ I found out that in my head was this tag of war between choices and approaches to such miserable conditions. 1/3

One year. One whole year already. And yet, I still canโ€™t believe it. I still have this strange feeling that none of this is real. Itโ€™s like Iโ€™m trapped in a nightmare I canโ€™t wake up from. As if, at any moment, youโ€™ll show up again โ€” with your smile, your laugh, your voice that feels so familiar. But time keeps moving, and with every day that passes without you, this absence becomes a little more real. A little harder to bear. The truth is, itโ€™s been a year since you left. And the world has felt a little quieter ever since. You know, Liam, thereโ€™s not a single day that goes by without us thinking of you. You left such a huge mark on our lives, on our hearts โ€” far beyond the music. Because you werenโ€™t just an incredible artist. You were a bright soul โ€” genuine, kind, generous, always there for everyone else. You had that rare gift of understanding people, of comforting them, of giving strength even when you barely had any left for yourself. Thatโ€™s what made you so special, Liam. You brought light just by being you. And thatโ€™s why everything about you is missed so deeply. Everything you left behind still lives on today. Your songs, your words, your smile, every memory you gave us. Youโ€™re everywhere โ€” in our thoughts, in every melody, in every laugh we share when we remember you. We keep celebrating you, talking about you, keeping you alive through everything you built. I think a lot about your family โ€” Your dad, your mum, your sisters, your son, your loved ones โ€” those who knew and loved you long before the world did. Losing someone so suddenly is unimaginable. I can only imagine how hard it must still be, even after a year, to try and move forward without you. Iโ€™m sending them all my love, all my support. Because you were their son, their brother, their light. And I know your absence must still feel like an unfillable space. I also think about your friends, and about those who were more than that โ€” the boys, your brothers. Because One Direction wasnโ€™t just a band. It was a family. You grew up together, laughed, created, shared memories no one else will ever truly understand. Nothing will ever erase that bond. And I know they carry that pain too. And then thereโ€™s us. Us, the fans โ€” the ones you made smile, dream, grow. We still remember your words, your laughter, your energy. We havenโ€™t forgotten you, Liam. We never will. You live through us โ€” through your music, your laughter, your heart. You are a part of us, and you always will be. I just hope that where you are now, youโ€™re not hurting anymore. That youโ€™ve finally found the peace you always deserved. So if I could talk to you today, Iโ€™d simply say: Thank you, Liam. Thank you for existing. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for being who you were. Thank you for everything you gave us. We miss you more than words can ever say. A little more every single day. But you still live on โ€” through everything you were, everything you created, everything you left behind. Youโ€™ll always be there, somewhere โ€” in every note, in every smile, in every heartbeat that still thinks of you. Weโ€™ll never forget you. Forever โœจ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

It has always been one of my dreams to share with my favorite person in the world how I became his fan, and how Iโ€™m still here after 12 years. When I asked him if I could tell the story of how I became his fan 12 years ago, he said โ€œYes!โ€ and the way he looked curious and eager to listen just made my heart so full. I told Kyungsoo that it all began when I came across a video of him way back in 2013 singing โ€œCatching Feelingsโ€ by Justin Bieber. When I mentioned it, he gave me this sweet look of agreement and softly muttered โ€œAhhh~โ€, almost like he remembered that moment too.. From the very first time I watched it, I couldnโ€™t help but be curious about himโ€ฆ I told him that he sounded so good and I really liked his voice (honestly, I find him cute too hehe) it was what drew me in and made me become a fan. I told myself that if I was ever given the chance, Iโ€™d love to hear him sing that song again, since we havenโ€™t heard him sing it since 2013. I even tried requesting it with the sticky notes, handwritten banners during the Bloom FanCon and tweeted about it too way back, almost like I was manifesting it. So when I won this fansign, I promised myself I had to ask this time. So I asked if he could sing it for me. For a few seconds, he just stared at me blankly, and then he looked up as if he was trying to recall the song. Knowing that he might not remember the lyrics ๐Ÿ˜…, I told him that I have the lyrics with me and showed it in the screen. He looked at it, and then he started singing. In that moment, my heart completely sankโ€ฆ I was into the moment and I just couldnโ€™t believe it was really happening right in front of me. This might sound like just a simple story, but to me, it was such a precious moment. Something Iโ€™ll always hold close to my heart. Meeting someone at such a young age and growing up with them throughout your youth... and who wouldโ€™ve thought theyโ€™d end up having such a beautiful, positive impact on my life? Iโ€™m literally tearing up while typing this ใ…‹ใ…‹ใ…‹ใ…‹ใ…‹. I was a little hesitant to share this at first, but it was such a beautiful moment. And honestly, you all have to hear how amazing he sounded, because he was just so, so good. ๋„๊ฒฝ์ˆ˜์”จ ๋„ˆ๋ฌด๋„ˆ๋ฌด๋„ˆ๋ฌด ๊ฐ์‚ฌํ•ฉ๋‹ˆ๋‹ค~ ๐Ÿ™‡โ€โ™€๏ธโค๏ธ first video credit to DOH HEART please do not re-upload
