Naval Ravikant on the “single-most important indicator of an entrepreneur’s success” Naval admits it’s very difficult to predict which startups will work—only 1 out of 10 of his angel investments succeed—but he has noticed a common trait among many of the great companies: “The founders are in it for the long haul. And the way you see that evidence very early on. They are extremely deliberate about all kinds of small decisions. Stuff you might think that doesn’t matter… And what you realize is is it’s their nature to obsess over these things because they feel like like they’re laying the bricks and the foundation of a skyscraper.” He contrasts this to entrepreneurs are more careless early on: “The people who are flippant about things… they’re often signaling to you that they’ll sell the company the first chance they get, or the moment that it looks like they’re gonna run out of cash, they’ll shut down.” He continues: “So I think that long-term mentality is probably the single-most important indicator of an entrepreneur’s success. Remember Romeo? The young student whose story touched so many of us last week? I met him again recently and couldn’t help but notice his shoes were really worn out. He quietly confirmed they’d been like that for a while. So, I told him, “After school, wait for me I’ve got a surprise for you.” He was a bit late coming out (turns out he's a scout, so he had duties to finish), so I waited and passed the time chatting with his schoolmates bright, respectful kids full of potential. the full video is on my Youtube Long story short, I took Romeo to Bata and got him a brand-new pair of shoes. The smile on his face… man, it was everything. Sometimes it’s the small things like a good pair of shoes that restore dignity and confidence in a young person. I'm grateful to be part of his journey, and even more grateful to everyone who has supported these acts of kindness along the way. Let’s keep lifting each other. One act at a time

Garcelle Beauvais really had to deal with a lot of disrespect from her fellow housewives. Throwback to the reunion where it was revealed that Lisa Rinna threw Garcelle Beauvais’s book in the trash. At first, everyone thought it was Erika Jayne because Erika had posted about it. There was a group chat where Rinna sent the video of her throwing Garcelle’s book away. Garcelle wasn’t in that group. I’m assuming most of the other women at that reunion were, minus Sutton and possibly Crystal. It’s honestly shocking to rewatch, especially now when everyone at the current reunion is talking about supporting each other’s businesses no matter what. One of the worst parts is that Andy Cohen seemed to move past the main issue of them throwing Garcelle’s book in the trash and how that could have made her feel, and instead focused on recycling, which was honestly so ridiculous. I do remember him later acknowledging that it was wrong after the reunion and that he reached out to Garcelle to apologize. Another frustrating part is that when Lisa Rinna explained why she threw Garcelle’s book away, it came down to Garcelle mentioning her daughter Amelia in a way Lisa felt was negative. In reality, Garcelle was just retelling what had already aired on the show. Nothing she said was new or out of context. Garcelle also explained that she was contacted by Lisa Rinna’s lawyers, and Garcelle handled the situation very graciously. She worked to resolve it, released a second edition of the book, and removed the section about Amelia, including from the audiobook. Credit to Garcelle for how she handled that situation with calm and professionalism. #RHOBH

What did we learn this Friday? We realized the new photos have a huge impact, with the shattered sticky-backed Rode mic scattered all over the SUV. Pieces of debris look very off-putting to the naked eye (burnt-like adhesive), especially since they got rid of all of it… not in evidence… and still more hasn’t come out. During all these “remembered testimonies” that contradicted each other, none described what was in the SUV. It’s a lot. I hope anyone involved who knows more comes forward with more/all the details. There’s a lot going on here, and they are already making a movie about “Who is Charlie Kirk” before we’ve even had the trial. It’s scary. Baron is on point. If all these important higher-ranking people are questioning the narrative, then we don’t have everything and we should dig more. Charlie was worth the highest level of investigation into his ass@ssination. It feels unresolved, and there is no harm in looking at every scenario because that is what Charlie would have done for anyone else.

LenaMiu each other’s strengths #ลีน่าหมิว #LenaMiu 🦋: in truth, we haven’t started doing the workshop yet (for the second series), but we’ve already started reading the script and looked at each other and said this series truly seems like another step for us – where we’ve got to really do proper homework on it and do the workshop well, and for it to follow in the same direction. And to make sure to portray the character as powerfully/to the fullest as possible, for the fans to be like ‘ughhh’ and be like throwing the remote at the tele vibes. 🎤: before we saw you working without a partner (in acting like a ‘fixed’ cp), and now you have a partner, how is it? 🦋: in truth, deep down I feel that my spirit is still an actress, still the same – it’s about taking on new roles. But with taking on a role like this, I might need to gain a better understanding of my partner better than before, because we’ve got to be with each other all the time. We’ve got to do fanmeets together, work together, we’ve got to talk to one another a lot, like me and miu are in each other’s favourites now (in the contacts) – we talk with each other a lot. Also, with both of us already being close before, and once we’re close like that and having to come and work together, we’ve got to be even closer, in the working part. So, it’s like we’ve got to talk to truly understand each other’s personalities/character – my working method is like this and nong method of working is like that. Also, as I’m like the senior in the industry, I’ve also got to understand her and must take care of her/guide her carefully (be attentive). 🎤: but it seems like she can handle things well/easily 🦋: yes! Even though she looks like… She’s actually very strong inside. It turns out that I’m the one who’s emotionally fragile/sensitive. I’m a very sensitive human. In my sensitivity, she’ll be the strong one, so when I’m with her, I feel she’s strong and able to take care of/handle my sensitivity in various situations. 🎤: (can’t hear the question properly) 🦋: yes, there are quite a few things that I’ve suggested to her, like ‘with this, you want to give this a try?’ ‘Do you want to try adjusting it like this?’ She’d listen and really seems to hear me out. 🎤: how does she completes/enhances in the part of your acting, how do you feel? 🦋: I feel that as she’s an actress who has less experience in acting than me, there’s a certain freshness to it (like something new). There’s a freshness that someone like me who’s acted a lot, things can become repetitive and it’s hard for me to find a new way. But getting to act with nong, where everything feels fresh and is new, I’m able to find/explore a new way along with her. I feel like I really enjoy that, it’s like discovering something new together with nong. It’s really fun.
