NEW: 10-year-old boy takes his own life after getting constantly bullied at school for his glasses and teeth. Heartbreaking. Sammy Teusch of Greenfield, Indiana was bullied up until the night he took his own life according to his family. The parents say they contacted the school 20 times to urge them to do something about the bullying but they were ignored. Sammy was emotionally bullied but also physically bullied including an incident on a school bus where he was assaulted. "They were making fun of him for his glasses in the beginning, then on to make fun of his teeth. It went on for a long time," his father said. "I held him in my arms. I did the thing no father should ever have to do, and anytime I close my eyes, it's all I can see." Rest in peace, Sammy.

This story breaks my heart every time I think about it, since I saw it today. 💔 10-year-old Sammy Teusch from Indiana took his own life after non-stop bullying at school over his glasses and teeth. His parents begged the school 20 times to step in, even after he got beaten up on the bus. Nothing. Now they're suing, but it's too late for Sammy. Parents & teachers, what's it gonna take to make schools to actually protect our children?

A hero and a gentleman. It's easy to think of the Palestinians only as the victims of Israeli settler colonialism, and it is certainly true that they are routinely victimised for being the indigenous non-Jewish population of a Jewish state. But there is nothing passive about their victimisation. Meet Sammy, a farmer from Bethlehem and the gentlest bravest man I've met in my life. His mother, brother and cousin were all killed by Israeli soldiers. Jewish settlements built on what was once the property of his relatives surround his home. Jewish settlers regularly intrude onto his land. Sammy needs medication to sleep. His wife, his daughter and Sammy himself are all seeing a psychologist to help them cope with daily threats and harassment. But still he refuses to give up his ancestral land. Sammy generously shared his story with me. Now I am sharing it with you. If you are moved by it, please share it with your friends.

Orson Welles's famous the Cuckoo clock speech in The Third Man (1949) This movie ıncluded in Akira Kurosawa's top 10 favourite films. Roger Ebert cited this as his favourite film. He later listed it in his piece "Ten Greatest Films of All Time". A huge fan of the film, Martin Scorsese wrote a major thesis on it while in film school. He got a B+ for it, his tutor remarking "Forget it, it's just a thriller". What are your thoughts on this movie?

Big moment for Anthony Edwards pregame. His grandfather, Ben, is attending one of his games for the first time since high school. Ben didn’t get out to many of Ant’s games as he was growing up, so tonight is a special one for Ant. His arrival was kept a surprise til this moment.

YEOSANG from ATEEZ shared what made him choose taeyong as his role model "first of all, back when taeyong sunbaenim was promoting Cherry Bomb, i was still a trainee. so, during that time, while taeyong sunbaenim was performing songs like Fire Truck, Cherry Bomb and The 7th Sense, i searched for his fancams and watched all of them. wow... he was just so incredible at dancing. it made me think that if i became an artist someday, i really wanted to dance as well as he did. as time went on, i read a story about taeyong sunbaenim that was posted online. in the story he shared how during his trainee days, he was originally really bad at dancing. but through his own efforts and hard work, he managed to become as skilled as he is now at dancing. hearing his story was so inspiring, i thought he was really cool and from that moment on, he became my role model."

“Such an immortal on the diamond, such a mortal off it, baseball finally buries in its judgmental resting place’s garden a singular rose. He was 83. The math on that means he spent about as much of his life fighting the sport he loved as PLAYING it. As much time disgracing the field as gracing it. That’s a shame, his and OURS.” – Dan reflects on the death of Pete Rose at age 83. 📺

A hard rescue today as I got a message from a kind local lady who needed help with an old blind dog. The poor boy was most likely dumped in the area because the “end was close for him”. He was confused on the beach and stuck. He wouldn’t have lasted much longer were it not for their bravery. His vet results were about as bad as it gets. His eyes might be glaucoma as he can’t see a thing and his kidneys and liver are bad as well as severe anemia. His anemia is so bad we can’t even put him on a drip. While I was driving him around I just had to keep talking to him as his head would keep dropping. His body is so weak. He is also very hard to handle as he lashes out with bites as he can’t see what is going on around him. He is terrified. The ladies called him Rocky as they are hoping he will make a comeback. It won’t be easy at all but he did start eating, drinking and resting well this evening. We will all have to keep everything crossed for this lovely boy. Whatever happens he isn’t on his own and he has the best medical care now. Rocky even let me pet his head tonight. I think he understands he is safe.

Happy Retirement, Ajinkya Rahane. ❤️ his debut game against England on 31 August 2011. (Also the debut game of Rahul Dravid in T20) The first time I saw his batting stance, it instantly reminded me of Sachin Paaji. What's your favourite Ajinkya Rahane moment?
