Yesterday ex-Bungie exec Martin Oโ€™Donnell who successfully sued #Bungie for unpaid wages and stock ownership, did an interview with Act Man about Bungie's recent woes. He implied Bungie CEO Pete Parsons and the #Microsoft corporate ethos and management style he comes from, was to blame. Martin also believes he may have been intentionally fired just weeks before his founders stock was due to be vested, so Bungie and its leadership could save money. There were similar staff retention and shares vestment schemes as part of #Sony's acquisition of Bungie, so both would have likely saved money in a similar way with recent layoffs. Martin expands on how Pete Parsons hasn't been at Bungie for decades, and was originally a Microsoft Marketing Executive who was brought in as Studio Manager for Bungie, but left during Bungie's negotiations for independence away from Microsoft. He was not involved in any of Halo 3's production. Unbeknownst to Martin, Pete didn't actually leave the company when he left, instead went back to an executive role at Microsoft. Pete Parsons was brought back in as Marketing Head in an exec role at Bungie around 2009. Over the coming years other executives got fired while Pete eventually went on to assume the top CEO role at Bungie in 2016, just before the release of Destiny 2. "What stands out... is just what a large portion of our core competencies have either been lost outright over the years, or we've outsourced." NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman Jared Isaacman on what he found after visiting every NASA center: "You take a look at a program like America's Return to the Moon with Artemis โ€” five prime contractors, hundreds of subcontractors, and 75% of your workforce, not partners, not commercial partners, are contractors through staffing agencies." "They're all using different software tools, collaboration tools, different HR systems, talking to different prime contract subcontractors. Is it a surprise to anyone that we're a hundred billion deep into this, years behind schedule? No, I mean it's right in front of you." "Mission control is outsourced. I gotta imagine that would shock most people โ€” when the astronauts come over the radio and say 'Houston,' and the person responds back, it's outsourced." "People have been freaking out since I've said, since last Friday that we are going to get back into the habit of launching moon rockets in months, not years. Apollo 7 to Apollo 8 โ€” nine weeks apart. We're on a cadence of every three and a half years, and they're like, 'that doesn't make any sense.'" "No, we're going to go back to doing what we did before, because we're going to rebuild the workforce that knows how to do these things." "NASA's got to have those core competencies back within the agency." Jared Isaacman

This is why the BC Ostrich Farm matters. It shows clearly that the government has abandoned reason, logic, and fairness. It shows that what they say goes, no matter what they have to take from you to do it or how many years you spent creating the thing they will eagerly destroy. They don't care about proving themselves. They care about doing it and shutting you up. They'll go so far as to throw you in jail to shut you up and they'll create laws to criminalize all speech they don't like. They'll even create laws to kick you off the internet without any due process and make you sign an NDA so you can't tell anyone what happened. They fear your voice. They'll take over your property and build a ridiculous wall of hay to block the world from seeing and rightly questioning the cruelty of what they're doing. They'll make no fly zones so you can't fly a drone and see. They'll harass veterans who dare to even point out to them that they're breaking the law and then they'll bark back that they are the law and what they say goes. It doesn't matter if it's different than what they said ten minutes ago. If they say it, it's true. So shut up and be quiet. They'll fund radical groups to target people they don't like and they'll use circular reporting from the groups they fund to weakly prop up their atrocious disregard for our rights and freedoms. And they'll look you in the face the whole time and tell you that it's for your own good. It's for all of our good. It's for our good that your life's work is destroyed. It's for our good that your speech is silenced. It's for our good that you're thrown in jail to silence you while repeat criminals walk in and out of the court house without even spending a week in jail. It's certainly for their good. Not for our country's. Not for yours. That's why the ostrich farm matters. It shows all of this so clearly in a way that any amount of words never could. And the world needs to see it.

NEW: Trump's full speech on Communism in America. Worth watching the full five minutes. "Communism is destroying our country. I would be the best communist in history. I would just promise everything would be free. Free rent, free food, everyone would vote for me. The problem is after two years the country fails. They always do. It's so easy to sell. That first year is great but then you start living in squalor. There'll be no housing, there'll be no law and order, there'll be nothing. Everyone will suffer and die. It's been happening for 1000s of years. Assassinations are a big deal for them. They can get followers because they make promises that they cant keep. The Democrats aren't fighting back. They're afraid to fight them. They've turned left. The Communists hate people. They hate the Democrat party. This isn't stopping. It's too easy to get elected. You'll soon have nothing left. The Democrats are allowing them to go their own way and they're afraid to say anything bad because they don't want to lose elections. This is happening before your eyes. If the Democrats fought them the way they fight me or Republicans they'd win, but they don't have the courage, so they're turning socialist themselves. Communists are Godless. They don't believe in God. This is the biggest threat to our country since its existence 250 years ago. We should be celebrating Christ and freedom and victories and instead we're speaking about communism. These guys will attack all religions but in particularly Christianity. It's part of their deal."

James Carden, former US State Department advisor on Russia, on Australian Sky News: "Ukraine's losses are 36 times higher than Russia's" - The whole story about the "Tomahawks" is nonsense. In the States, they say that Trump is not giving Zelensky weapons that could turn the tide of the war. But that's a lie and it's ridiculous. "Tomahawks" are no more capable of turning the tide of the war than all the other systems that have already failed to do so. The situation is the same as with HIMARS, which the Ukrainians begged for at one time. And with the Patriot SAMs, and ATACMS, and F-16s. Nothing has been able to turn the tide of the war. Essentially, it is lost. And the sooner the Ukrainians realize this, the better for them. In my opinion, Putin is offering a reasonable solution. Ukraine will not be able to join NATO, but it can join the EU. To me, that's a fair deal. - But they are also being asked for territorial concessions. - Correct. But they themselves have been attacking these territories since 2014. The Ukrainians are not entirely sincere. They say they want the eastern lands and Donbass, but without the ethnic Russians who live there. For the last 30 years, they have done everything to deny these people their rights. Let's be honest, Putin is in some sense offering them exactly what they want. Let Ukraine remain only for ethnic Ukrainians, and finally get rid of the ethnic Russians. It's not customary to say this out loud, but it's true. - When you say the war is lost, what about the information that Russia is literally on the brink right now? And that if pressure is applied, it will run out of money and won't be able to continue its brutal war indefinitely? - It's exactly the opposite. According to my data, the ratio of Ukrainian to Russian deaths is 36 to one. Ukraine is approaching a million losses. And what the mainstream media write, especially The New York Times and Washington Post, is as truthful as what the authorities told Americans about the Vietnam War. The war of attrition that Russia has been waging since 2022 is quite successful. In my view, it is Ukraine that is currently on the brink of disaster, not Russia. - Okay, James, we thank you for your time. James Carden โ€“ former US State Department advisor on Russia. Thank you.

๐Ÿ”ŠChurch: Our time is almost up! This age of grace is coming to an end. Jesus has been calling His sheep for 2,000 years, and today His call is louder than ever before. Soon, we will all be gathered, ready to cross through the door He has set before us! It's time to pray like never before, but not alone, LET'S PRAY TOGETHER! ๐ŸLet's press on in this race, just like determined athletes, giving it our all to reach the finish line! Pushing every muscle to the limit, leaving nothing behind. Let's keep praying for those who do not know the Lord: family members, friends, acquaintances, neighbors, or anyone that God puts in your heart. โš ๏ธโš ๏ธโš ๏ธIf anyone would like me to pray for them, please let me know. โš ๏ธโš ๏ธโš ๏ธ Write their names or make a quick reference like 'my brother', 'my dad', or "my neighbor" something, we don't need to include the full name if that makes you uncomfortable. I will be praying for them for the next few days, and hopefully, everyone who reads this post can also say a prayer for them as well. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผWe're living in an amazing time, on the verge of experiencing one of the most significant events in human history, the end of the Church! The Holy Spirit is hard at work saving those last souls, but the enemy is coming at them from every single angle and keeping them in that wide gate that leads to destruction. ๐Ÿ“–โ€œEnter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." Matt 7:13-14 ๐Ÿ”ŠLet's keep pushing through, keep preaching the Gospel, and keep looking up! We're almost home!

.Naval on Tech Education: โ€œTechnology is a form of leverageโ€”and it's the ultimate form of leverage. If I'm a programmer, what people don't realize is that I have a million robots working for me. If I come up with an idea, I code that idea up, and now a million robots carry that idea. They're just sitting in a data centerโ€”for heat, efficiency, and space reasonsโ€”loaned to me by Amazon through AWS, who takes a small cut. That leverage means that if I decide on the right thing to do versus the wrong thing to do, I can make $100 millionโ€”or zero. It's a very wide swing. Someone who isn't leveraged through technology doesn't have that force multiplier. Someone working in a traditional industry doesn't have that same advantage. When we talk about the distribution of capital, we're used to thinking of money as the main source of capital. Before that, the main source of capital was people. How many people are working for you? That's why older generations tend to be impressed by how many employees you have. People who are a little more savvy ask how much money you're managing or how much revenue you're doing. But the correct question is: How many robots are working for you? How many programmers are working for you? How many machines are working for you? Because those are the ultimate force multipliers. So I believe the way forward is through technology education. Where technology education falls down is that it's really popular to preach education for kids. Everybody wants to educate kidsโ€”because kids can't talk back. They have no choice. Go to school. Sit down. Shut up. Learn. But what about adults? We have this myth that adults can't be educated. That adults either self-educate or they can't be educated at all. We believe that if you're 45 years old and you lose your job because your factory shuts down, you're done. Your only options are: Society has to bail you out because you're destitute. Or we artificially preserve your job through tariffs, trade barriers, or tax breaksโ€”even though the world no longer needs that job. Instead, I think we need a culture of adult education. Imagine a model where every four years it was socially acceptableโ€”and financially supportedโ€”for you to go back to school for a year. You'd say: "This is my school year." Maybe this year you're going to learn electronics. You spend a year learning electronics. You could be 54 years old and learning electronics. That should be a normal part of society. We need continuous education built into society because the leverage you're craving is actually permissionless. It's available to everybody. But it's knowledge-based. The gate isn't a banker sitting on a pile of money. The gate is knowledge. It's building of that knowledge. And the sharing of that knowledge.โ€

A family HVAC business been running for 30 years. One of the brothers stopped showing up to work 4 years ago... But he still expects a paycheck, a company truck, and 49% of the profits. Dave Ramsey: Is it just the two of you involved? Who owns the other 2%? Caller: My dad. Dave Ramsey: Is your dad still involved? Caller: Not much. He's about 90 years old. Dave Ramsey: So he was just the 2% to break disputes and ties? Caller: Yeah. Dave Ramsey: So what does he say about all this? Caller: Well, since my brother hasn't been at work for four years, he's been spending a lot of time with my dad. My dad thinks he hung the moon, so whatever my brother says, my dad's pretty much on board with him. Dave Ramsey: Mm-hmm. Okay. So who makes all the operational decisions on paychecks and so forth? Caller: I do. Dave Ramsey: Okay. All right... So you raise your own hand, because I think it's time. I think it's more than time. Just tell him: turn in the keys for the truck. Bring the truck back, you're no longer on payroll. No work, no pay. And yes, you own 49%, and yes, you will get 49% of the profits. But the profits will occur after we pay my increased salary, because I am now the CEO of the whole freaking place! None of you have operational access to the business. I'm running the business. If you don't like that, buy me out! You and Pop go over there and play your Gin Rummy, and y'all figure out how you're going to send me some money, because I'm done supporting your dead weight. I'm over it. So no more paychecks, and profits will be distributed according to the partnership agreement.. which is 49% of the profits. But warning: there's not going to be a lot of profits left, because after you pay my salary that's increasing, there won't be anything getting to the bottom line. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding! Just fixed you, buddy. Caller: And that's going to go over like a lead balloon... Dave Ramsey: Yeah, well, guess what? Anything you do is going to go over like a lead balloon, other than continuing this madness that you're doing now!
