ICE detain single father—come back to trick his daughter into being arrested too. 9-year-old girl has now been locked up in detention for over a month. Agents drove dad miles away—then came back to lure his daughter out of house. She came out despite being scared not knowing what was happening or where she was being taken. "What possible harm could that innocent little girl have done to deserve being detained in a harsh prison for more than a full month?" said her aunt. At approximately 1:50am past midnight, a 9-year-old child was spotted outside Quickmart Supermarket in Kilimani near Hurlingham, being used by an adult woman to beg for money from members of the public. I approached them with the intention of rescuing the child and taking her to a children’s home for safety. However, the woman-whom the child refers to as her “auntie” quickly lied to her, telling the young girl that I am a bad person. The child, confused and frightened, ran away with her before any help could reach her. Moments earlier, a man had approached us and appeared to have harassed the child earlier , causing her to break down in tears. This is extremely disturbing. No 9-year-old should be exposed to such danger, especially in the middle of the night. This is not ordinary begging. This is child exploitation and endangerment happening openly under our watch. If anyone knows the parents or guardians of this child, please inform them that she is being used to beg for money in Kilimani near Hurlingham, outside Quickmart, late into the night. I urgently call upon the Children protection unit, law enforcement agencies, and all relevant authorities to intervene immediately and secure this child and any other children who may be facing similar abuse. A child belongs in a safe home, in school, and under protection not on the streets at 1:50am begging for survival. This matter requires urgent attention. Let us not look away.

GAHHHH!! The fact that this ENTIRE SCENE is animated movie exclusive just goes to prove how vastly superior this film is to the comic! This scene works on so many levels, which is a large part of why it’s so iconic to this day. For one, we are seeing the power of a full fledged Kryptonian- even if not fully honing her skills yet. The animators go all out in showing how not only overwhelmingly powerful Kara is, but also how her fight style greatly differentiates from Superman’s as she engages in combat with more elegance and tactical precision. She has her own flow that not even Darkseid can predict. But more importantly this is Kara coming into her own. Because this movie actually gives her agency and an arc, we’re seeing her tap into her full potential as Supergirl here. The spark that Lyla saw in her earlier (who ALSO has greater characterization here). She’s fully embracing who she is and taking that leap of faith, and kicking ass while doing so.

Being fully aware of the judicial system, she had complete access and the ability to call the police station, which was only 30 seconds away from her home. Why did she not make that call? It took us more than three days to get the FIR registered. Our FIR was finally lodged on the 15th at 2:30 in the morning. Even before that, their anticipatory bail application had already been filed. It all appears to be a well-orchestrated effort from their side. The fact that she was granted bail on the grounds that she is a 63-year-old woman of repute and considered a non-threat does not justify her actions, which clearly reflect the opposite of how she is being portrayed. A so-called ‘non-threat’ is sending people to threaten my 61-year-old father inside the court premises. A ‘non-threat’ is sending people to threaten my family, saying that 30 men would beat us up. But despite living with a rare genetic bone disorder, the 27-year-old from Telangana's Adilabad is far from giving up on his dreams. His severe mobility restrictions meant that Ramana could not attend regular school, but with support from family members he pursued his education from home. Venkata Ramana, Digital Marketing Professional, says, "From childhood, my grandmother supported me a lot. She passed away last year. She taught me through charts and alphabets, etc. and during my childhood, I received the kind of basic education that children in primary classes like P1 and P2 learn today. I also learned many things with the support of a local trainer who used to come every evening and teach me for around one and a half hours. Then, in 2018, I passed my Class 10 examination through open schooling. After 2019, I wanted to continue my further studies, but unfortunately, I faced some health issues. Daniel Dye earning a full-time ride for 2027 is quite the turnaround from being suspended and losing his Truck ride earlier this year over a personal conduct violation. It helps he's been accountable and transparent since and has gotten his priorities right. I asked Daniel if he feels like a different person/professional and he admitted he had lost focus near the end of last year. "Everything happens for a reason. God has a plan for everything, and what happened earlier this year, I'm taking the accountability for it. "But it was a great thing for me to get my head back on my shoulders, be back to getting dialed in and working in the gym and being engulfed with what I love - And what I really love." Jordan Anderson chimed in a bit as well and tied his circumstances back to the culture of his team. "There's things that happen in life that good bad or indifferent, we learn from them. ... If things in life happen, it's not always gonna be good. You're gonna have good days, bad days, things are gonna go sideways. Can we be a better person as a result of it? And that's how we operate and how we build our culture as a team."

Bhanu Pratap Singh (IPS, Superintendent of Police, Khagaria) and his wife Pooja first met at an event in 2015. Despite opposition from their families, they had a love marriage on 16 January 2016. Pooja comes from a Brahmin family in Kolkata, while Bhanu belongs to a Jat family in Uttar Pradesh. Pooja left her home to marry him. After the marriage, she worked as a teacher at a private school in Bharatpur for about five years and stood by him during his struggles. Their daughter was born in 2020, around the same time Bhanu was selected for the IPS. Relations began to deteriorate after that. Pooja alleges that her husband has taken their six-year-old daughter away from her and is not allowing her to meet the child. After he became an IPS officer, she says pressure, mistreatment, and demands for divorce increased. At the IPS mess in Patna, she was locked in a room and kept under the watch of women constables so that she could not come out or speak to the media. When she went to the official residence in Khagaria, she was pushed out. Due to prolonged distress, her mental health deteriorated and she recently attempted suicide. Pooja says she does not want her husband to lose his job; she only wants her rights as a wife and the dignity of living with her daughter. Pooja travelled from Bihar to Bharatpur (her in-laws’ home). The gate was not opened, and her husband left with their daughter. She sat on a protest at the gate and later filed a complaint at Mathura Gate police station. Police treated it as a family dispute and did not take immediate action. People are demanding strict action and suspension of the officer. An audio clip from the husband’s side has circulated in which he says he does not want to end the relationship and wants to resolve the matter through dialogue. The case is also pending in court.

NEW: Former college football player chases down a homeless man after he allegedly a fire in Los Angeles. The incident comes after more than 12,000 structures were destroyed in the LA fires earlier this year. Former University of Kentucky wide receiver Scott Mitchell and his girlfriend were hiking when they noticed the man walking away from a burning tree. Mitchell then jumped into action and chased the man down who was 150 yards down the trail. “Even without digging, I was able to chase that guy down. I didn't know I still had it, I'm not going to lie,” he said. Andrew Wistic O’Calliham, a 43-year-old homeless man, was later arrested. He has since been arraigned on suspicion of felony arson. Thanks to 53 firefighters on the ground, the flames were “fully extinguished” before things got out of hand.
