I’ve seen many say Mainoo doesn’t have the legs to play as a #10… The pivot is far more physically demanding. I truly believe Amorim’s #10 roles (specifically left) are tailor made for Kobbie. Think back to his Liverpool performances, the goal against Wolves, his FA Cup final goal. This is the area of the pitch he thrives in. Receiving between the lines; fast, small-space exchanges and cute, inventive through balls slipped to disguised runners. It means you can place a more progressive passer (Wharton, Stiller) in the pivot to accompany Ugarte, while actually having elite receivers between the lines (Mainoo and Amad).

One more World Cup thank you I forgot to give was to Polymarket US for starting to roll out rewards to high volume users, the France v Morocco QF match pitchside at Gillette was an amazing experience I’ll never forget I’ve had my complaints with their app, but their liquidity incentive program for the World Cup was awesome for MM’ing. Competition is good for us traders and the industry, so I’m glad to see them working to catch up to Kalshi (yes, they’re still firmly behind Kalshi for at least as long as the UI is what it is and outages occur during UFC fight nights). Will be interesting to see where things stand heading into the fall sports season Experiencing & trading on the World Cup on US soil over the last month was so much fun, nothing will match the unique and awesome experiences + edges of the last month. Looking forward to some vacation and extra golf time ahead of the return of NFL 🏌️‍♂️😎

4 separate handball incidents Connor Barron- • Gets the ball hit at him and accidentally hits his arm while his body is turned • The ref doesn’t see it • Nobody claims it and the game plays on • There’s another 2 phases of play, including Aberdeen TOUCHING the ball • VAR pull it all the way back to disallow the goal Lawrence Shankland- • Intentionally controls the ball with his arm • Hearts go up the park and score • Shankland barely celebrates and openly says “it’s a handball” about 5 times • VAR “check” it and allow the goal • Then Shankland celebrates it Gogic and Trusty handballs- • After getting a penalty vs Celtic for Sterling’s “handball” they set the bar that anything going on target, hand away from the body, accidental or not, it’s a penalty. Also the fact Dundee conceded a penalty for a handball offence with a pass going away from goal the same day 😂 The ONLY thing that’s the same in all these incidents is they benefit any team up against Rangers. Don’t care if we win games etc, the blatant cheating needs called out !!!!!
