A 23 year old developer randomly found an open-source trading bot on GitHub. The repo already had 899 stars, so he decided to test it on a small account. He launched it in the evening. By morning, the account was up $280. The interesting part is that the bot wasn’t trying to predict Bitcoin or Solana. It barely predicted anything at all. The system monitored multiple markets at the same time and looked for moments when price or liquidity became unusually attractive. One module scanned Polymarket. Another watched Binance. A third monitored liquidity and cancelled trades whenever the risk got too high. While he was asleep, the system kept scanning markets and only executed trades that passed its filters. In the morning, he just opened Telegram and saw the list of filled orders. And this is the weird part: a few years ago, infrastructure like this would have looked like an internal tool at a small trading firm. Now you can find a similar stack sitting publicly on GitHub. found a bot that's basically farming Polymarket for the spread on every match started with $500 back in August, it's up $46k now. win rate 50% barely a coin flip. what it does: > tennis, almost nothing else. US Open main draw, qualies, challengers in Manacor, Porto, Plovdiv, Como, Zhangjiagang > every trade is a maker order. limit buys on both sides of the same match, filled at different prices > fills are tiny. $0.05, $2.68, $35. one every 20-60 seconds, all day > when the match ends it redeems. half go to $0, half go to $1. it doesn't care which > Polymarket paid it $4.2k in liquidity rewards last month on top of that sometimes the cheap side hits. its biggest single wins are a 0.3c fill on the Suns, 1.4c on Zverev, 5.4c on the Spurs. $5-6k each. watch it work: so why doesn't everyone copy it: > it's a bot. runs 24/7 across every challenger match on the planet > the edge is 0.4% of volume. you need $20M of churn to make $82k > maker orders only fill when someone takes the other side. on a dead qualifier nobody does > 49.9% means you eat $0 redemptions every hour and trust the other half covers it Polymarket lists hundreds of tennis matches a week and the takers set his prices for him. he's not picking winners. he just leaves limit orders on both sides and lets people cross the spread into him.
