Maybe Morty never really cared that much about the Pokémon cards themselves. I think he was just looking for something anything that he could do with Rick. It was never really about the cards. It was about spending time together 🫠

The irony of Morty Prime is that he's genetically related to Rick Prime, yet emotionally shaped by Rick C-137. He inherited one Rick's DNA and another Rick's trauma. And somehow, the trauma ended up being the stronger inheritance.

💜💙 The more I think about Rick Prime's line — "I miss when it was just us. The only two Ricks to actually invent portal travel." —the more unsettling it becomes. A lot of people interpret it as Rick Prime referring to a time when he and Rick C-137

That moment when Rick basically tells Morty, "I know you hate hearing this, but you're going to turn out just like me. You've got it too, Morty. It's a disease. A genetic disease. You're infected already." And the disease he's talking about? A vile family trait.

I don't know what to focus on first. The fact that Morty has always known what he means to Rick, or the fact that Rick called Morty "baby"?????

I honestly think Morty is a lot smarter than people give him credit for. 😣💛🥺🫱 The show often frames him as the "dumb" one, especially when he's standing next to Rick, but there are so many moments that prove otherwise. He remembers things Rick says,

In the earlier seasons, it was pretty obvious that Rick was always ready to jump to another universe the moment something went wrong. And when he did, he would usually only take himself and Morty with him. The rest of the family simply wasn’t part of that equation. 💙💛

Oh my God…!! Seeing that clip in Season 7 Episode 5 completely changed the way I view Evil Morty’s Rick. I used to think he genuinely loved Morty, and maybe even regretted the things he said… but Rick is still Rick. He doesn’t know how to apologize,

Oh, I absolutely love this part. Rick tries so hard to keep it a secret that Jerry was the reason someone took their own life because of him, but in the end he just can't carry it alone anymore. He has to tell someone... and that someone is Morty

I think Rick in this universe had already given up on a LOT of thingsHe had buried so much of himself and convinced himself that becoming a “BETTER” person was enough But then he met Morty from another universe, and suddenly the theories he had once dismissed started

Evil Morty Yeah, like… “a traumatized kid solving his problems with multiversal genocide” 😭 But honestly, what makes Evil Morty interesting is that he didn’t start out wanting to be a god or some pure evil villain. He started from hatred toward being controlled and used.
