This is unacceptable. A video shows a woman being confronted and overwhelmed by several men during an eviction. She is crying, screaming in pain, and clearly distressed as they gang up on her. This is gender-based violence. Using physical force, intimidation, and numbers to overpower a woman in a vulnerable situation is GBV, full stop. No one should be subjected to this kind of aggression, especially while facing the trauma of being forced from their home. Eviction processes must follow the law and respect human dignity. What is shown here is not “enforcing rights”, it is violence. Such acts should be condemned, victims supported and accountability demanded.
