I lost count of how many times I’ve been called a horse, look like a man or been told I have too many muscles. I remember in high school and college, I would go through magazines and cut out images of women who looked strong and had muscles. I would cut out positive and encouraging phrases that would motivate me. To go to the gym, to try new activities, running, lifting weights, outrigger paddle boarding, surfing. We should be uplifting others and encouraging one another to better themselves. No matter what. Find a community and environment that supports and uplifts you. Let’s change this static ladies 💪🏽 I used to be one where I could barely do a pull-up. I struggled to get multiple reps. I put in a lot of work. A lot of repetitions to build my upper body strength. It took time, consistency, and patience. It’s empowering to be able to do multiple pull-ups, to know I have the strength to pull myself up. But it wasn’t just about the physical strength but the mental resilience to overcome a challenge I faced. I want to empower individuals to transform their life through fitness, nutrition, and mindset. I believe that true transformation is about more than just physical fitness — it’s about building mental resilience, fostering meaningful connections, and cultivating a lifestyle that empowers individuals to thrive.

52 push ups in 1 minute puts me in the excellent class on the mens 30-39 age group in the Secret Service Fitness Test. As women looking to fill roles typically held by men such as Special Forces, Infantry, SWAT, EP and LEO, we need to demand the standards are the same. If the Govt wants to break down stereotypes, build stronger teams, and attract the best talent, we as women should demand equal standards not only in pay as many do already, but also in performance. The last thing I want is men to worry about their lives because I am on the clock. Women will never be as strong as men, not even a question, but there are a ton of tasks that I am more than capable of doing. If my partner weighs #245 I need them to know I can fireman carry them to safety! The point is we will never know our true potential if we are constantly coddled with some unrealistic barrier that the fog of chaos will not respect in the climax of disorder. Hollywood is to blame primarily, as they continue to make unrealistic action heroes where the frail bodies of women are somehow equivalent to the super jacked bodies of the men. Chaos does not care what you look like, only if you can get the job done and the closest thing to knowing, is constantly testing the ability. Not every man can be a Navy Seal and not every woman should be able to hold highly physical roles, that is totally normal. To be the best of anything you have to dig deep in the soul and train far past what you think you are capable of doing.

Today’s How To Series: conventional deadlift - sound on for teaching tips and points of performance. One cue I love for deadlifts is to think of pushing the floor away vs just pulling the bar up. Lazar Đukić, a 28-year-old Serbian CrossFit athlete, tragically passed away during the opening swimming event of the 2024 CrossFit Games. This video was hard to make, because of how close it reminds me to the passing of my sisters. Didn’t want to do it but I got a lot of questions on my perspective. Here is my perspective as a former athlete, former HQ Staff, and business owner.

I look up to so many strong women like Gina Carano 🕯 Riley Gaines Laura Zerra & Ashley Lammela . I grew up watching women like Sigourney Weaver and roles like Sarah Connor, so when Chris Cuomo says on the recent Tucker Carlson X interview: "I know too many women who can kick my ass." Well, there is a reason I sleep with a shotgun & a handgun by my side. There's a reason I trained my dog to bark only in the case of an intruder. There's a reason I train to master the use of these weapons. Before I tell you if Chris can kick my ass or not, I just want to say how amazing it is for Tucker & Chris, who were both fired from their old networks, to come together and have a balanced dialogue. It is in the best interest of the majority of the country, who still lean center, to hear topics from both sides & come to their own conclusions. Would you pay to watch a man fight a woman in the UFC? This is my fear, as we continue to marginalize the differences in men & women. We begin to create a future where young men start to believe women are equal. We are building a future where women have no sports & no protection; we saw this play out as kids who received participation trophies become adults. They were told time & time again, not to compete and now they have had a hard time with the brutality of the world. No we are not equal, but we are also not frail & dependent. We can & should protect ourselves via the 2A. So ladies, train hard, learn to shoot, work on your fitness & be defensive. My Bug Out series May 11-16th with Laura Zerra is going to be epic. We will hike 135 miles from Las Vegas to an undisclosed location in Southern Utah, covering topics on starting a fire, land navigation, water filtration & more. Distribution on YouTube & X as of now… Stay tuned.

Recent events have highlighted the unpredictable nature of our world - Only two scenarios exist. 1) a deranged lone man was somehow able to penetrate a highly secure perimeter and take shots at 130m which tells you, the govt can’t save you, or 2) forces that we are unaware of deliberately attempted to assassinate a political operative which tells you the govt can’t protect you… Either way, Prepare Endure Survive - Your Fitness is your first step.

This is one of the last videos I have of my sister, it’s from 2006 when we went hiking in Zion. I wish I would’ve taken more video knowing that she was going be gone two years later. The would have’s and should have’s kill me at times. I try to focus on continuing to live life so she can experience it thru my eyes, as if she’s still here, seeing it via my eyes. She was a ball of energy and always so fun and lively. Grateful the memories we got to experience. Remember to make the most of the moments you have with the people you care about.
