Truck drivers across Australia can breathe a sigh of relief after the Fair Work Commission handed down a landmark ruling forcing major retailers to cover the cost of diesel. From today, companies including Coles and Woolworths will be required to pay for diesel costs when fuel prices exceed $2 per litre, following concerns that truck drivers were bearing the brunt of soaring fuel costs amid the crisis in the Middle East.
