Today, Saronic announced its $1.75B Series D, at a $9.25B valuation. Four years ago, Joe Lonsdale, Alex Moore, and the 8VC team were exploring a new defense prime. Across the Hill and Pentagon, our DC partners were sounding alarms about America’s maritime future. We enlisted remarkable leaders, headlined by Dino Mavrookas (frmr Navy Seal) and vib (frmr 8VC Fellow/Anduril), and we started building. The result was Saronic. Hundreds of vessels and 1000+ crew members later, the shipyards are humming, and the age of naval autonomy is underway.
