In August 2009, the blogger was revealed to be Anupam Mukerji, a Bangalore-based marketing specialist and advertiser who had no actual connection to the team or any players. 📍Starting on April 18, 2009, Mukerji posted "insider" gossip, locker-room fights, and stories about players, coaches, and owners using cheeky nicknames like "Lordie" (Sourav Ganguly), "The Guru" (John Buchanan), and "Prince Charming" (Shah Rukh Khan). 🎯Targeting KKR: The blog focused heavily on the internal turmoil at KKR, which was already struggling due to coach John Buchanan's "multiple captaincy" theory and the benching of Sourav Ganguly. The blog’s accuracy—often based on lucky guesswork—created such paranoia that KKR management reportedly monitored player laptops and phones to find the "mole." 👉The blog's popularity led KKR management to suspect their own players. Aakash Chopra and Sanjay Bangar were sent home from South Africa midway through the tournament, partly because they were suspected of being the blogger. Chopra was a prime suspect specifically because he had recently published a book, proving he had the writing skills to pull it off. 👉The Reveal: After over a year of speculation—during which even fringe players like Anurit Singh were accused—Mukerji unmasked himself in August 2010 on television. He is my all-time favourite player, and it is anybody's guess why. Seeing him look so dejected like this - it honestly hurts so much. Usually, I don’t have a special attachment to any team, nor do I carry the load of wins and losses. But this hurts, man. This really hurts.💔 Before Ponting took charge, Punjab was arguably the most volatile and underperforming team in IPL history. They constantly chopped and changed captains, shuffled coaches, and suffered from deep management issues. Nobody took them seriously. Ponting changed the culture. He breathed fresh life into the franchise, backed raw youngsters, and miraculously guided them to the Finals in his very first season. Going into this season, the momentum was still there. Everything looked perfect for the first six matches. But what followed is honestly unbelievable and painful to watch. How does a team with so much grit and promise collapse like this?

Delhi’s Pitch from Hell: 23.3 overs of pure terror👿 Probably the Most DANGEROUS PITCH💀☠️ ⚠️"Extremely variable bounce and too dangerous for further play" 🎯5th ODI (Ind vs SL, Delhi, Dec 27, 2009) 🎯SL : 83/5 (23.3) before the game was called off. 🎯Wicket on the very first ball 🔥 🎯Tillakaratne Dilshan hit on the elbow. 🎯Sanath Jayasuriya - elbow, shoulder, and fingers. 🎯Surprisingly it took them 23.3 overs to call off play - Pitch was highly uneven with patchy grass, excessive seam movement, variable and often dangerous bounce, and some balls keeping very low. - The very first ball of the match saw a wicket; the innings had everything: dropped catch, body blows, thick edges, and frantic running. - After 23.3 overs, both captains (Dhoni and Sangakkara), umpires (Marais Erasmus and Shavir Tarapore), and match referee Alan Hurst discussed and decided the pitch was too dangerous to continue. - Sunil Gavaskar famously described the pitch as looking like it had a “hair transplant” – bald patches with random tufts of grass. - BCCI later sacked the Grounds & Wickets Committee and the Delhi & Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) curators. - The BCCI responded to the fiasco by dissolving its grounds and pitches committee, while the DDCA apologised to fans and spectators and offered to refund the cost of tickets.
