Saying that antisemitism is unacceptable has nothing to do with Muslim hatred. It is sad and disappointing that these two topics have been connected for today’s debate in the European Parliament. How cynical! Because we all know who needs protection today and against whom. It is the Jewish schools, musea and synagogues that are guarded. And we all know why. But why is it so difficult to say it? To name the reality? We saw it in the streets here in Europe, calling to destroy the Jews. We saw it in the murders in the Jewish museum in Belgium. We saw it in the celebration of the pogrom in Israel. We saw it in the pressure for the silence kept by international organisations who ignored the pain of Jewish women. I get chills and tears every time rewatching this part. Ashley had to risk it all to get to where she is today with her Charlotte character. You can hate the character, but not the person behind it. She has feelings too that are not made out of steel. That’s why I am so ashamed to those who think that it’s okay to hate a person and bring personal issues to an audience that do nothing but try to dehumanise and exploit for the benefit of their hatred to the character.

ARE 1 ON 0 WORKOUTS THE BEST WAY TO TRAIN? I moved away from 1 on 0 workouts a long time ago. They are great if the player has a specific technical need. It allows you to slow down and dive deep with the player. Other than that… multi player workouts are exponentially more productive and beneficial for the players. This allows them to still work on technical skill, but it allows you to put them in an environment where they have to read multiple players on the court- exactly how the game will be. Add in the fact that it forces players to compete and it’s a no brainer!

College coaches are going to do their research, watch full games, talk to people and eventually will figure out who you actually are as a player - whether that’s in the recruiting process or when you get to campus. I’ve always been more concerned with the Accounting - can the player actually play, what do they need to work on to produce more for their team now, and also to have a chance at the next level… the accounting always tells the truth, marketing can lie.

Here’s what they believe in: Nothing. That’s the heart of postmodernism: it’s the belief that nothing is true, which ultimately leads to nihilism and the rejection of all truth… all religion… all meaning. (And in the absence of God/religion/truth, the government and the wealthy take power and become the God of their own universe.) This is no longer about politics.
