Some of my colleagues and friends, especially from Mumbai and southern parts of India, ask me why I honk so frequently while overtaking or at crossroads The driving style in the northern parts of India, especially in Uttar Pradesh, is unique. They value their convenience over their lives, often neglecting to look around before switching lanes or making turns. They believe that if someone is crossing, they’ll simply honk to let them know. This mentality contributes to the high fatality rate on highways in Uttar Pradesh After driving on these roads for around 14 years, I’ve developed the habit of honking while passing trucks and buses, ensuring a margin of braking distance for sudden maneuvers by riders spitting paan, cattle appearing out of nowhere, people crossing without looking and of course, wrong-way driving Notice the timestamps between the two clips - such incidents occurred twice in five minutes during a 6 hour drive. If I were to compile all these instances, it would be like watching a short movie Though the speed may appear slow in the video, it was mostly around 100 km/hr. However, I had to brake heavily, hence the frustration with prolonged honking Some people might comment, ‘You shouldn’t overtake from the left.’ However, there’s another unsaid rule here - most trucks drive on the rightmost lane.

That bright red illuminated Skoda lettering is just not Skoda! Maybe it’ll look better after the full reveal but for now the LED strips feel kinda Karol Bagh-ish. Just hoping they don’t ruin it by overdoing the exterior updates.

Never seen such an intense and consistent downpour in Delhi before! It’s been raining non-stop for the past three days and today’s heavy rainfall has continued since morning. It’s only 5:30 PM and sunset isn’t until around 7 PM, yet it’s already so dark outside that it feels like 7:30. This is the uphill road right in front of my house and despite being on an incline, there’s still a thick layer of water covering the road. As cars pass by, you can see it flowing like a river! I absolutely love the rain but I truly hope everyone stays safe.

Used Fast Track Immigration on my recent trip and was genuinely impressed. It’s quick, efficient and saves a lot of time at immigration counters in India. The only issue? People. Many travellers either don’t scan their boarding pass and passport correctly or simply ignore the instructions, causing avoidable delays and longer queues. The system works well when users do too.
