Wow. Liberal Minister of Housing Gregor Robertson says the quiet part out loud. Arguing his belief that Aboriginal title and fee simple title should co-exist on the private property of Canadian homeowners. Brookfield Investments is trying to make big bucks by sneakily exporting hydroelectricity out of Canada to the United States, with almost no benefits to the community, British Columbia or our country. For this reason, I have officially written to Canada's Energy Regulator to oppose their export permit application on behalf of my constituents and the people of Powell River. Canada's natural resources belong to Canadians - not well-connected, foreign-owned corporations.

I can’t believe the CBC did something like this. Using taxpayer money to mislead, deceive and outright lie to ordinary Canadians, including retired RCMP veterans, to trick them into taking part in some sort of twisted political propaganda film. Fake documentaries that slander Canadian history, defame Canadian institutions like the RCMP and smear the reputation of our first Prime Minister, Sir John A. Macdonald. Spending who knows how much of your money to set up an elaborate ruse (including fake websites, fake companies and fake identities) while engaging American actors and producers to insult Canada’s past. Will the Liberal Minister responsible for the CBC own up to this decision and defend it? Or will someone at the CBC finally be held accountable?

BREAKING: Brookfield is again pushing to ship Canadian hydroelectricity from Powell River straight to the United States - with zero benefits for the community, B.C., or Canada. That's why I've formally written to the Canada Energy Regulator demanding public hearings be held in Powell River at the earliest possible opportunity. These dams were built 100+ years ago to power 2,000 local pulp mill jobs. Now they support about six. Canada's natural resources belong to Canadians - not well-connected, foreign corporations.

Canada’s Liberal government is planning to borrow so much money they will be forced to spend $80 BILLION each year just paying interest on the debt. That’s taxpayer money that can’t go toward health care or education or infrastructure - that is instead being wasted. That's more debt and more money squandered than even Justin Trudeau was planning to spend! It’s time to bring fiscal responsibility and fiscal sanity back to Canada ASAP! 🇨🇦
