The Saudis are in contact with the Houthis in Yemen via Iran at the same time Pakistan’s FM is in China as part of his country’s strategic dialogue with Beijing And Pakistan’s military chief is in Saudi What I am being told is “it is no longer about Field Marshal Asim Munir’s personal ambitions vis-a-vis UAE or even Trump’s Gaza International Stabilization Force - “Islamabad/Pindi has been pushed to draw a line in the sand - as there are very real fears of a spillover into Pakistan and Saudi Arabia if the U.S./Israel attacks Iran”
