well THAT'S neat! you can replace triangular walls with full walls. if you replace both triangular walls in the same space you can combine structure types. if you combine a japanese door with a window, you get a window you can close. combine two doors to get a double-locked door.

People keep saying this is a generic jrpg mechanic, not specifically a Pokemon mechanic. They're saying this because they didn't know there's a 1 in 8192 chance of finding a shiny version of normal enemies. For instance, Shiny Crow Mauler. His sparkles are hard to see in the fog.
